L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Make-Up Removing Wipes Review

I am not a huge user of make up wipes, I feel they are not as good or thorough and a cleanser, however wipes do have a place in my routine. There are the odd times when I am tired or maybe have enjoyed a wine or two and doing a complete make up removal routine is just not on the cards, this is when these wonderful wipes come into their own.

They come in the usual soft plastic wrapper, with a hard plastic sort of lid. I find I will use two wipes to clean my face.

They are a good size and have a faint pleasent scent to them. They do not dry out my skin, in fact my skin feels soft after using them.

For my eye make up I will take a bit of extra time with the wipes as they are not as efficent as an eye make up remover but these wipes still do a good job.

For me these wipes are very good for those odd occasions and I am happy with the results.

I bought this as a buy a L'Oreal product and get the 2nd half price. I love using this to take my make up off, it feels soft on the skin and it smells nice, the make up comes off easily.

Driving down the road to the holiday house I realized I had made one massive mistake. I had forgotten to grab the faces cloths on my way out the door. Quick detour to the supermarket and down the beauty isle, I found these. They are pricey I feel $12 for 25 wipes nevertheless I had a full face of makeup on and was planning on wearing more so I had to have them.

The white packet is pretty plain with nothing that really stands out. The opening where you pull the wipes from has a deep red coloured seal which seals tight shut so there is no risk of the wipes drying out.

The wipes feel super soft and have quite a heavy floral scent, it’s not a horrible scent and it isn’t unbearable. Like I mentioned above I had a full face of makeup on and didn’t really have high hopes. I set to scrubbing my face and was surprised at just how quickly my foundation came off I used a whole wipe just for my face and had to use a second wipe for my eye makeup and lips. I sat the wipe over my eyes and held it on my eyes for 20 seconds before wiping and there was more shock horror when I noticed it had taken most of my mascara and stubborn eyeliner off in one swipe, I used it again to remove the last of it off and it was gone. Needless to say the lipstick came off really easily too.

It does leave an oily greasy residue over your skin though so I did have to use my sponge and cleanser. But I was so happy with how well these took my makeup off it was so effortless and after cleansing, my skin looked just as good as when I use makeup remover, warm water and a facecloth. I will use these again especially when we go camping and water is limited. (yes I am one of those annoying people that sometimes puts on a full face of makeup camping “just because”)
