I am a big fan of L'Oreal products so when I needed a new eye cream I was happy to try it without reading any reviews. I sorta wish I had now as the issue with the packaging has been raised. The squeezable tube is quite stiff so you have to squeeze hard to get the product out & although I still have plenty left the plastic looks like it is going to fracture soon.... The metal dispenser is quite soothing (as it states) but you still have to use your fingertips to blend it in. As for the product it is a nice texture & it absorbs very well. I believe there has been a reduction in the fine lines & my skin feels nice after applying it.

The cream is light, absorbing quickly with a very light fresh fragrance but I felt the applicator let it down. Though the tube is soft and it’s easy to dispense a small amount and the metal ball on the end is cool and refreshing to use around the eyes, it’s hard to distribute the product effectively and evenly. I ended up using my fingers. I was also worried that it could cause cross contamination causing an eye infection. I definitely think that it has instant results of reducing puffiness and making the eye area looking refreshed and smoothed. Over the time I used it I definitely saw that my eye area looked brighter firmer and lifted.
Tips: Store cap down so the product is sitting there ready to go, squeeze lightly so not too much product comes out.
I was very excited to trial this product and I was not disappointed at the first sight of the professional looking packaging. This product brings with it a bold statement to be "an anti ageing skincare product to challenge a laser session" so of course my expectations of great results were high. Upon my first application I found that the product comes with a metal ball shaped applicator attached to the actual tube. Im not sure how I feel about it. The plus is that it instantly gives a cooling effect to the eye area which is really nice and would be great to soothe dark circles and any puffiness. However as you try to roll the applicator around I find it just pushed the cream around rather than helping it to absorb into the skin. So the way I used the product was to apply it via the metal ball, roll the ball a little bit around the eye are for the cooling effect but then I used my fingertip to pat the cream into the eye area for absorption. The cream is a nice light to medium texture and not too heavy. It absorbed well and I applied it after using the same range serum and night cream at night time before I went to bed. After trialing the product for 4 weeks I agree with the product description that it works on "under eye bags and re-firms". It has definitely softened fine lines around my eye area making them less visible. I was a bit cautious about trying a new eye cream as I have had reactions and swelling in the past from applying other eye creams but this one was completely fine and I had no adverse reactions at all. I would say this eye cream would suit all skin types particularly mature and dry types. I found it to be very hydrating and refreshing and it gave positive results compatible with other eye creams within similar prices and product ranges. Overall I would use this eye cream again and I am happy with the results it gave. I would recommend using it with the same product range (day cream, serum and night cream) to get the maximum results.
Tips: Use your fingertips to apply the cream for a more accurate application
Absolutely loved this eye cream! It comes in a tube with an easy applicator head that is cool around the eye area. It doesn't have a scent as such but is very smooth and light in consistency. I did find that it was easy to use too much when using the applicator to push out the cream and that you had to be careful when dotting it around the eye's. I would recommend this one for anyone who suffers from puffy eye's in the morning and dark circles. Since I have been using the eye cream every morning and night I have seen a noticeable improvement in my dark circle's and puffy eye's. I will be using this one again.
Tips: To ensure that you aren't using too much product, dot cream in about 4-5 dots under the eye and then massage gently in circular motion's moving the cool head of the applicator up over the eye.
This eye cream has a lovely presentation in a thin tube with stainless steel ball end. To apply you squeeze a pea sized amount out, which is enough for both under eye areas and then gently massage from the outer edge in. The cream has a pleasant, light fragrance and really nourishes the under eye area, plumping up and smoothing fine lines. I was really pleased with how refreshed my eye area looked.
Tips: Avoid going right up underneath the eye line as the product will absorb into this area naturally and this will prevent the product from entering the eye.
I liked this product. The applicator was a nice small tube with a silver ball on the end. This made it nice and refreshing when applying. It was a bit hard to see when the cream was coming out until it was right there but other wise it was easy to use. The cream itself was not perfumed much with been around the eyes was a nice surprise. I found the consistency to be just right. It wasn't oily and it soaked in quickly. I found the darkness in the corners of my eyes have brightened and felt as if the skin around had tightened slightly. I believe it would last a good amount of time as you don't need much otherwise I found the product just sat on the surface and did not all absorb. Packaging was smart and professional. It would be great to take away with you as it is a handbag size friendly tube. Price wise for myself is a bit to expensive however for someone ages 30+ that would like help to prevent fine lines and help tone around this area the price is reasonable. I would recommend this product more to those that are worried about fine lines and wrinkles appearing or that are wanting further support for this area.
Tips: A little goes a long way :)
The cooling roller ball was not quite as cooling as some other brands I have tried. However I can be quite sensitive around the eye area and I had no trouble with this product and was very hydrating.
Tips: Use morning and night before moisturizer
Love the way you use this eye cream. It has a metal applicator which provides a cooling effect on the skin which makes it fun to use too as it is like a wee massage. Easy to use tube and easy to pop on. You do not need to use much product which means it will last a long time.
This eye cream has caffeine in it which works wonders! It wakens up the eye area and helps reduce bags under the eye - so perfect for morning use if looking a bit dull and tired. Has Hyaluronic Acid which is a rich hydrater to reduce appearance of lines and keep the eye area hydrated. It firms the skin around the eye and keeps them looking fresh and youthful.
Feels nice on the skin and easy product to use. Would recommend to anyone!
Tips: Love love pairing this L'oreal Revitalift Eye Cream with the Intensive Anti-Aging Moisturiser Day, Anti-Aging Mask-Cream Night, and the Anti-Aging Power Serum in the same range as this eye cream. Revitalift Laser x3 from L'oreal Paris
I have been using this eye cream for a month now hoping to find it growing on me but it just hasn't. While the serum, day cream and night cream have been amazing I feel that the eye cream hasn't been suitable for me. I have found that I have been waking up to my eyes looking and feeling puffier than usual, possibly due to the richness of the product. The packaging for the product is lovely, as with the rest of the range and I think the ball end on the tube is just fantastic. For someone with perhaps slightly more mature skin it could be a great product but just not for me.
I've never really bothered with eye creams before, to be honest I've always been convinced they were just moisturiser in a tiny tube...cough. Plus the faff of patting them gently into the skin with your pinky finger. Too much work.
So I was chuffed to see this eye cream was something different. The slanted metal applicator is instantly cooling and feels like a real treat to your under eyes.
My dark circles definitely look reduced after use and I think this might be the key factor in the reduction of smile lines.
Would I pay $47 for it? Probably not, but I'd definitely pick it up on special!
Tips: Keep it in the fridge for an extra cooling effect.
