I got these in a secret santa gift a couple of years back from a cousin. At the time I was ecstatic because I had only just started my makeup stash and this was my first eyeshadow. I like that it had browns and neutral colours in it because at the time I was only just coming in to bright and bold. The base is a black base with a see through lid that snaps to close. I like the clear lid because it gives me the perfect sight of the colours in the palette.
The dual end applicator that it comes with is quite unworthy really. It's flimsy and the sponges came off after the first application. Besides that it tends to gouge the pans rather than gather a bit. I then found brushes and haven't looked back. The shadow it self is quite chalky and quite bluntly put below poor quality. The shadow has major fall out when using a brush which is very annoying when you are dressed up to go out.
Despite the lows I carried on because I had no basis for comparison at the time. Thinking back, the colours were not very pigmented and are more shimmery light versions of what they appear to be. The shadow wore off after only a couple of hours leave a big streak of chalky mess at the fold of my lid. I regret to say I didn't use it for long and passed it on to my younger cousin who loved it.
Tips: Use a wet brush to get better colour
