While this lipstick has great pigmentation, it doesn't stay on very long at all. I'll find that after an hour or so I have to reapply it so that it looks good. When doing this for a whole day you go through a decent amount of lipstick

I was wanting to experiment with some lipsticks when I first started getting in to makeup so thought I would start small with an affordable brand. Enter LA Colors Lip Color. I got the colour Luscious Wine. It is a berry/red sort of colour and appealed to me the most out of all that was available.
The tube design is very generic and doesn't really appeal to the eye in an attractive way. If I am honest it looks like a cheap $2 shop lipstick. It smells of vanilla extract or some sort of lip conditioner they add to lipsticks sometimes. Either way it is pleasant. I swatched it on my hand first to see the likeness from sight to actual colour. The texture is smooth but quite shiny/lipgloss like. It's not a texture I like on my lips now that I have experimented but at the time I didn't think much of it. I thought a lipstick was a lipstick nothing more.
I put it on my pout and found it to be quite patchy when applying. I had to swipe it on three times to get the best coverage. The wear isn't much better for me. After two hours of not even drinking or eating, I had wear on it and needed to freshen it up almost entirely urgh annoying!
In summary, the lipstick is not good wearing, it too lipgloss like, and the tube cracks easily. The colour is really nice and quite true to appearance which is good. If I were a teenager or someone who wore makeup only every now and then instead of everyday this would be perfect. Because I am neither of those I will stick to a matte and other brands.
Tips: Do not leave it in the car, it melts. I speak from experience.
Frosted Berries was my first lipstick that I purchased for myself starting out with make up. I normally got my make up from dollar stores. I wanted to give the entire L A colour lipstick range a try.
The lipstick tube is an ordinary design. Not very sturdy I found mine cracked days after purchase. Frosted Berries had a pinky purple colour to it with a glitter sheen to it. The consistency of it isn't pigmented. It seems very thin in colour tone. This smells like vanilla. Not strong though.
When I applied it it goes on patchy. But it is very moisturising on my lips. It didn't stay on long. It did transfer with eating and drinking.
I haven't repurchased this lipstick because it lacked pigmentation and the packaging didn't last long. I would prefer to give this lipstick to my daughter to play with. I wouldn't reccomend this one.
