I have the colour coy and I love the bright violet colour. Its thick and goes on easily with a lip brush. I wouldn't recommend using straight from the tube as you wont get the precision. As a make up artist I think these are great for shoots.. however for day to day wear not so much unless you want to constantly be checking the mirror as it goes extremely patchy. These are not long lasting. You'll get about an hours wear before they start to look horrible. I would repurchase as the shade bombshell looks pretty so I want it for my kit but besides the colours the product itself is not that great.

As a dupe for Too Faced's melted lipsticks, I was super excited to try this out when a friend gifted me the shade Pin - Up. This is a super intense red - which made me even more excited as red is one of my favourite shades to wear.
The packaging for this mimics the melted lipsticks. This comes in a squeeze tube with a gold lid and is colour coordinated with the packaging so you can easily identify which shade is which.
I like the packaging except for one thing - the applicator. This is a piece of plastic in which the product is pushed through. I really, really didn't li this as it feels quite hard on your lips and I found it really difficult to create a sharp and clean line. It could just be me but I created a big mess around my mouth when applying this straight from the tube - I ended up looking like the Joker haha!
To get around this I use a lip brush to apply this. It is way easier and cleaner, although I find it a little annoying as a lip brush isn't something I enjoy using. I prefer a product to have an ease and no fuss factor that this doesn't give me.
In terms of the product itself, it is super pigmented and has an insanely shiny finish. If you don't like a wet look to your lips then skip these, as the gloss is very, very shiny. A gloss finish isn't my favourite finish (I am more of a matte girl), and I find that the wear time on this isn't that great. It feels quite slippery and because off hat it does tend to slide around my mouth a bit. To overcome this and prolong the wear I suggest using a lip liner.
Overall I am not sure if I would purchase these. I do like them but because I am more of a fan of a matte finish this isn't something I would typically wear. The colour and pigmentation is beautiful and if this dried matte I would purchase these over and over. However, if you like a super colour saturated, glossy lip product then this is definitely right up your alley!
Tips: Use a lip liner underneath to prolong the wear of this.
The packaging is quite nice and simple. There is a strong peppermint smell as it does contain peppermin oil. A lot of people say that this is a dupe for too faced melted lipsticks but it is quite different in my opinion. It is like a gloss but the staying power is virtually non-existent. Overall, the colours are quite fun but I would not rely on this for an all day look.
I bought into the hype around these after walking away from them several times, and ended up taking home an LA Girl Glazed Lip Paint in Seduce.
Seduce is a very pretty deep berry colour. These Lip Paints are entitled 'Glazed' and so as you'd expect the gloss factor is off the charts. They are beautiful colours and finishes, but the issues come in quickly. On application it's quite hard to control how much comes out of the applicator (if you can call a hole in a tube an applicator) and because they are on the thin side they bleed like crazy, making your lip line look messy. You need a lip liner and primer with these to tidy them up. Once on, they transfer like mad to anything your lips touch - but a stain does remain on your lips which, while it doesn't have the gloss finish, is still quite pretty. in fact, I've been known to apply it, remove the gloss layer and wear it as a stain.
These paints are mint scented. It's a really fresh clean scent, and great for if you need to freshen your mouth and lippy at the same time (after dinner, perhaps?) if a little on the odd side for a lipstick. I like it though.
All in all, I'll use this one, but doubt I'll buy another as they are fiddly and need a few steps to get them looking great.
For the price, these babies are so underrated. Very pigmented and beautiful. You only need a smidgen of product to achieve full coverage.
When I first applied it, I wasn't used to the applicator at all. I'm actually still annoyed with it because it leaks easily and if you squeeze a little too hard with the tube, a lot of product comes out so be very careful!
I've got the colours "Tease" and "Seduce". Tease is a bright neon pink. I think of Barbie for some reason, whilst Seduce is more magenta. I prefer Seduce more. The lip paints all smell like peppermint so if you hate that, you should probably stay away. When applied it's very glossy and it never entirely dries on matte because it's shimmery. I find that Tease also has very fine glitter in it which I did not expect. Also partly why I prefer Seduce.
Overall, the colours are great and they're highly pigmented plus you don't need a lot of product to show their full effect. My only problem with them is that they don't last very long, and this is just a few hours without eating, and the applicator (which is not efficient whatsoever). Bottom line: if you're wanting a matte liquid lipstick, this is not for you.
Tips: Use a lip liner underneath so it lasts longer.
I bought this at my local pharmacy one of those last minute purchases as it was staring at me from the counter at only $9.00 it was hard to refuse – I choose this in shade “whisper”.
This is packaged in a plastic tube with a gold lid quite a decent sized lip product with the typical angled tip for application.
First time I went to use this I ended up with wayyyy to much product!!. Squeeze only very gently at the tube otherwise you end up with a whole bunch of lip product on your lip!.
Whisper is a pinky based beige/nude colour my favourite kind of nude.
The consistency wise is quite a runny liquid but at the same time it is highgly pigmented. This glided on silky smooth but I did find that in this colour you really had to blend it in or it kind of had a bit of a weird patchy bit on the inside of your lip – I seem to get this with nude colours though so it may be something with the nudes and my natural lip colour.
I absolutely love this colour though, another perfect pinky based nude for me. It felt great on the lips non drying and left a lovely glossy finish but still looked like a lipstick as opposed to a lip gloss.
It had a lovely minty smell to it which I actually really liked kind of reminds me more of a lip balm or conditioner in that respect.
Unfortunately the staying power however isnt really very long it did come off very fast and definitely wont hold up against eating and drinking.
However at this price I’m ok with that I’m not expecting miracles and I will be going back to purchase other colours in this range.
I had seen these all over you tube so I just HAD to get one hehe. I got one in the shade "seduce" as the colour just looks soooo gorgeous. I bought it off makeupclearance for $5, cant go wrong with that!
I love the purple/pinkish packaging with the metallic writing, its so feminine. It has a cute gold coloured lid too. The product is in a little squeezy tube which makes it easy to apply.
The colour is long lasting on my lips however I didnt really like the runnyness and texture of the lip paint, I found that it bled too easily and was quite messy.
I feel like I need to keep this lip paint just for the colour but otherwise I wouldnt buy it again.
Tips: Use a lip liner and apply with a brush, not directly on to your lips as its quite runny.
I love these. Quite glossy but dries semi matte. They are very pigmented . A little goes a long way and there is a huge colour selection. i would apply with a lip brush as they get messy i dont like the lighter colours as they look weird on me. but everybody is different
There seems to be a bit of a buzz around L.A girl products at the moment so I decided to purchase a few things from make up clearance I brought 2 of these, one in the colour babydoll and the other in blushing.
These were cheap $6.50 each... Winning!! Baby doll is a bright pink colour and blushing is a gorgeous plum colour and is my favourite of the 2. They come in little squeeze tubes which I love HOWEVER the tip on this squeeze tube is just wrong it's not slanted enough so it makes applying it rather... interesting, actually just messy. I also find the hole on the tip where the product comes out quite big so it comes out in a big blob especially if the tube is warm it just runs out. This is just annoying because I love the actual product.
The gloss smells quite minty and apart from it being a bit difficult to apply, it's easy to glide over the lip it's not sticky or gluggy. The colour is bright and it's very glossy it really stands out. It lasts about an hour and it needs to be reapplied, the colour does stain the lips so I make sure I touch up frequently if I'm eating and drinking. I love 'blushing' and have had a lot of comments on it when I wear it. For the price it's great just wish the tip was a bit better
I remember when these first came out and they were so talked about on youtube. I think people were saying they were a dupe of the Too Faced melted lipsticks? I've never tried those so I'm not really sure. I bought one shade, a light pink (not sure of the shade name), from beauty joint.
The packaging of these look ok, it does look uite cheap to me. It is basically a lipgloss tube style package. It's easy to squish the product up and the screw top lid stays securely on. I don't like the applicator at all. It's a very hard plastic with a too big hole in the middle to let product out. Because it's a hard plastic, it's not the best to apply the product accurately to your lips. And also because the package is squishy and the hole is quite big, it will easily squeeze out too much product. I usually just use my finger to apply it but then of course you are left with a sticky finger. I don't really like either way actually, it needs to have either a wand or a smaller and softer tip.
The actual product is a thinish texture, it's not exactly runny but it is thin enough to easily spread out. If you do a swatch on your hand, it looks beautiful. Very pigmented and shiny. But if you put that much on your lips it would be a mess that ran everywhere. It does have a nice lip feel though, really smooth and not sticky. It has peppermint oil in it too so it has a really nice flavour. That's probably the only thing I like about this! I find this has such a short staying power on my lips, it's gone within 20 minutes even without eating and drinking.
I'm glad I didn't waste a whole heap of money trying this out. I really don't think it's worth buying at all and I could never recommend this to anyone.
