LA Girl HD Pro Concealer

I have to admit I've previously been a bit of a makeup snob when it came to this brand - with how inexpensive it is, how could it possibly work well with my finnicky skin? Mine is oily, acne-prone with pigmentation I'd rather hide than highlight so I'm always looking for wonder products that will create a flawless base.

I received this as a gift from the lovely Kirsty who told me that it's known as a dupe for MAC's Pro Longwear and with such a high recommendation I was excited to give it a go. The first thing I noticed was the packaging, a plastic squeeze tube which is practical and contains a decent amount of product. I wasn't a fan of the brush-tip applicator, I found it a little bit awkward to use and to distribute the right amount of product, but after some practice I got there and think it's really handy! I use it to distribute the product in a triangle underneath my eyes, where I really want to conceal any dark shadows or pigmentation outside my eye area, and then blend it in using my fingertip. I've found this method works best for me to get an even, natural-looking finish that's very long-lasting. I have this in the colour 'Natural' which is a fair, peachy tone and I initially thought it would be far to light for me but I've found the colour works great to brighten under the eyes.

The formula itself is just what you want in a concealer, creamy but not to thick, buildable to cover imperfections without looking obvious or cakey and doesn't feel heavy or sticky on the skin.

I'm suprised at just how often I reach for this and would highly recommend you try it if you haven't already, it's a steal at the price and I will definately repurchase.

I love this concealer!! it has great coverage and last most of the day without touch ups.

I really like the packaging, the squeezy tube allows you to get almost all of the product out and the brush tip is really good for accuracy and blending in the product.

The consistency is really nice, its quite thick so i find it doesnt sit in fine lines and become visible during the day.

The one thing i dont like about this concealer though is the lack of light colours. I feel even the lightest shade is too tan for using under my eyes so i have to use a different product. Other than that, i LOVE this concealer!!

This conceler is really good for the price. It covers darkness under my eyes as well as scars and acne. It has quite a thick texture but it has a good applicator with a little brush on the end to apply it and then I usually just blend in with my finger. One downside of this conceler was that I found it creased around my eyes during the day. I would still recommend that and it is super affordable.

A concealer with good coverage! It goes a little dry around my eyes, so it will be okay if you added more. It creases on me, but its hard not to lol. Its a good concealer, just not for me :)

I was really excited about this concealer because people were saying it was a dupe for the mac prolongwear. I went to the store and had a look but they only had a few shades to chose from, and the lightest one was way too dark for my super pale skin. It was pretty annoying. I don't have much of an opinion on the consistency or coverage of this product. But I do like the packaging and applicator, it is easy to get the perfect amount and there is minimal wastage.

I have this in shade classic ivory which is perfect for my skin tone. I haven't used concealer in a few years because I get such good coverage with my foundation I haven't really needed to. I was sent this as a gift and I couldn't be more thankful! I have been using this after my liquid foundation and before I finish with powder and it blends amazing well into my skin and leaves no trace of any redness or imperfection behind. Applying powder onto to finish leaves no trace of what I was trying to hide. I have been applying this with my fingers as it such small areas I am applying it to and this seems fine. If I had a small brush I would possibly put it on with that. I am a convert to this concealer and it is such a great price and an amazing product!

So I have recently been looking for dupes on YouTube and came across a few videos that recommended trying the LA girl high definition pro concealer. I was not so sure as I really like Mac and Smash box concealers but on a student budget I had to find something more affordable. I was able to come across beautyjoint and noticed that this product was retailing for only US $2.50. That price seemed very appealing in terms of affordability but did not appeal in terms of suitability for my skin. I did however give it a go and am proud to say I am addicted. I purchased the pure beige shade and use all over to even out my skin tone. I love how this product suits my warm toned skin and blends very easily with its creamy texture.

First off this is my HG under eye concealer and i think everyone should go out and try it!

the consistency is quite think and full coverage, it is easy to use and blend out to the desired area its not scented which i like!

the coverage is amazing and covers problem areas with ease, its perfect for the under eye area and brightening, i find this lasts all day without creasing and going patchy.

i have dry skin and have had no problems with this drying out my skin even more like others i have tried i would say this is a perfect dupe for the mac concealer and i actually like this one way better!

i get mine off beautyjoint for $2 and its properly the best $2 iv even spent

I was impressed with this concealer for the price, I purely use it around my lips and for my dark under eye circles, it is the best concealer I've used to date but still not the best. I am yet to find the perfect concealer for under eyes. It did how ever make a huge difference and did a pretty good job at covering my darkness, but throughout the day wore thin and slightly separated. I do my foundation first, then conceal and then finish with powder, I found that if I used this concealer without a finishing powder it loved through out the day and wasn't as long lasting as I had hoped for. Overall a really good concealer but I wouldn't re buy.

This is the perfect concealer for all skin types! It has amazing coverage, I'd class it as a full coverage consistency it doesn't crease under the eyes or stick to dry patches. It's super super cheap and packaging isn't bad at all for a $2 product I wasn't expecting anything from this but oh my godddddd I don't know what is do without this I have been using for around a year now and wouldn't change I really have nothing to fault this product on!!

I get this off beauty joint for $2 and I recommend it to EVERYONE
