I first came across this product on a BR board where it was mentioned as an under-rated product. As it just so happened I was in the market for a new concealer so decided to give this one a go. I purchased it off eBay for a total of about $10 NZD including postage. I was apprehensive at first, I wasn't entirely convinced that the lightest shade 'Classic Ivory' would be light enough for my NW-13 skin. If you apply the rule when buying a concealer that it should be 1-2 shades lighter than your natural skin tone, then this one fails the test for me. But in reality, it matches with my skintone instead, concealer my undereyes and transforming them into the same tone as the rest of my face, and this works really well for me! The product claims to camoflague the appearance of skin imperfections (check), even out skin tone (check), cover dark circles (check), minimize fine lines (check), and provide customizable coverage (check!). Basically, this is the best concealer I've tried so far. It's creamy, buildable, doesn't crease, and lasts throughout the day. I've been using this everyday for a week now and can definitely see myself repurchasing it when it runs out...but on another note the product size is pretty generous so this won't be for a while! Highly recommended.

Tips: It seems to work best for me when I just use my fingers rather than a brush. And a little goes a long way, start small and build it up if needed.
I waited my entire adult life for you, I dreamed of you, and wondered if you even existed I imagined how you'd feel, touch, perform and how long you would last Would you be readily available, or out of my wallets reach? Would you like my skin? One day I was watching a popular youtuber and she mentioned you, so as always I jotted your name down and did my research. Were you the one I had been looking for? I ordered you off beautybliss and waited for you to arrive.
If it was all based on looks I would have cast you aside, you turned up in a squeezy tube with a cheap brush attached. But it's whats on the inside that counts right? You were the perfect shade, you were creamy but a little on the thicker side, I can work with that but not lightweight like you claimed. A little goes a long way but too much is a disaster, you will lose your temper and crease like crazy. You last all day although you do fade and crease after a long day. You cover well and blend easily Are you perfect? No, but you are fabulous and I will continue to wear you
Tips: Squeeze a little onto your hand instead of using the brush directly on the skin. Start with a little and build up because too much really is too much
This concealer really does the job. It's a nice consistency that blends out well. It's not heavy and doesn't crease under the eyes. I would say that I wish the packaging was different, my product doesn't come out of the brush well and the colour selection isn't great if you're pale!
I bought this from the LAGirlNZ website for $13, which was the cheapest that I could find online. If I could find this for $5 I would definitely stock up, it's definitely worth it. I have this in the colour classic ivory, and it's not that light - it's almost a perfect match for my ChiChi BB cream in the lightest shade, which is still quite warm. I just checked the LAGirl website and they've bought out new corrector and lighter colours which I'd like to try. This concealer comes in a basic squeezy tube, it's quite a large tube considering the price. The biggest negative I've encountered with this concealer is the applicator - it's a brush tip that you squeeze the product out through, so you kind of have to apply it directly to your face using the brush. It's difficult to get the desired amount of product out, and I feel like there's a bit of wastage with the product that dries on the brush tip. It's also not ideal to be using the same brush on your face over and over again, but oh well. I use this product as a highlighter and to cover blemishes, and it works fairly well. It has medium - high coverage and blends really easily (I just use my fingers). It brightens really well too. I do find that this creases on my a little bit under my eyes, I usually just set it with a bit of powder and that keeps it reasonably still.
Overall, it's not a perfect product, but for its price it's still a must have. The formula is comparable to higher end concealers, but the packaging and applicator does need work.
I had heard about this product through YouTube and decided that I would give it a try myself. I loved it from the day i brought it. Though it is quite had to get the product out from the tube. It was good, it spread quite far, you didn't need a lot of product out to do the job you needed it to. I brought a light shade though it was quite orange. Is really good for concealing my freckles.
Tips: Can buy this from Coinsave for $5
There are so many things that I love about this concealer, it is just great for everyday, for blemishes everything! So lets start - this concealer is super pigmented - there is so much packed into this tube. A little bit of product goes a long way and it covers up my redness, fading acne spots and pores. - It works well on its own or set with some powder foundation, so its great for those looking for a more natural look as well - At $8-$12 per tube in store, it's definitely cheaper than a lot of the other drugstore alternatives! - The shade range is outstanding - there are around 18 shades catering for both cool and warm toned skin types as well as any shade from light to dark. - It doesn't sink into fine lines or under eye lines. I use a lighter colour under my eyes to highlight and conceal my under eye circles and it works incredibly well especially after setting it with a yellow powder.
There are however minor issues with this product that I have found but aren't an absolute deal breaker: - It tends to cling to flaky spots - The product tends to separate sometimes in the tube. Give it a bit of a shake and you're good to go. - The tube brush is a little unhygienic, but a doe foot wouldn't be any different in terms of cleanliness.
Tips: Have two shades - one for your face/blemishes and another for under eyes as a highlight/under eye corrector!
this product is my holy grail for my under eye area, it sits perfectly without my little creases showing! my two downsides are that 1) i don't enjoy the little brush applicator but i think that is just personal preference 2) i only find this product good for my under eye area, it doesnt cover my blemishes very well. but its still so cheap and worth it! i hope LA GIRL does bring out a wider colour range :)
I was really excited to try this product but sadly it has not lived up to the hype for me. The first time I used it, it left little dried specks of concealer on my face and I thought maybe it was just at the top of the tube. Sadly however it still does this and I've nearly used it all up. I have to flick the wee specks off when my makeup is all done. I think this is probably just a defect with my particular tube but still, not ideal. The consistency is quite thick but still creamy, so I thought it would provide quite good coverage, but sadly another fail. I bought this to use as an undereye concealer but it really doesn't cover the dark circles at all really. To get good coverage I have to apply quite a bit of product which looks thick and awful on the fine lines under my eyes. I now skip this and go straight to Well-Rested powder and I get better coverage from that! The packaging is actually pretty good. I like the basic tube with black labelling but I do have a wee problem with the brush tip. It spurts out quite inconsistently and I have to keep it well away from my face or it spits little droplets on me. I have to put a wee dab on my hand and then apply to my face. Also the brush tip on mine has almost popped off completely! It looks like if I squeeze it too hard the whole top will come off. I hate to give a bad review but seriously disappointed with this.
When you hear about an amazing concealer that’s creamy, buildable, and covers imperfections, it sounds like an amazing product. When you hear it’s only $3 it really does sound too good to be true, but for a price as low as that, there really is no good reason to not try it out for yourself, and because it’s so cheap, I actually brought three to try and get the right shade. The shade the seemed to be the best match for my skin is pure beige, and it matches my skin tone perfectly (I use this concealer for concealing, not for highlighting). The formula is creamy, and it seems to be thick enough to cover discolouration quite easily, as well as thin enough to be blended into my foundation so double points there. My need for a concealer is also to cover the slight hollows I get under my eyes when I’m tired and this product just can’t do that, but to be fair I haven’t yet found one that can. Also I don’t like using this for covering pimples because it just doesn’t do a good job. Also, something else slightly negative about this product is the fear of it creasing, and the fact that a setting powder is a necessity with this concealer, not an option. Also, this particular tube had a few cons for me as it seemed to be a bit faulty as the product seemed to separate so the concealer was slightly grainy, and lots of water wold come out. Not ideal, but I got a refund so managed to get a new one which was a much better consistency. One more negative is the terrible brush it comes with, I find it hard to get the product out, messy, and unhygienic because I can never wash it even if I am just dabbing the concealer onto the back on my hand. I did like this concealer (even though I found it had a lot of negatives), and I will keep one in my beauty draw, I love how it covers up darkness under my eyes, but will keep on the lookout for a concealer that does it all.
I was very sceptical when I was first told to buy this, I normally have that mentality of "you get what you pay for" and since this is such a cheap concealer (I got mine for around $6) I thought, I bet it wont do much!
Boy was I wrong... it comes with a brush trip so the product gets squeezed onto the brush directly and you apply it on quite generously, I don't find that the brush does the trick so I just dab the concealer on with my finger afterwards.
It really does cover, and covers EXTREMELY well. It isn't runny, which I LOVE and isn't as thick as the Thin Lizzy concealer, it's similar though (except a whole lot cheaper).
I applied a bit of loose powder on top, and it literally stayed on the entire day... I mean around 8 hours!!!! It didn't smudge or melt off.. it just stayed on perfectly.
I have a few lines under my eyes (genetics unfortunately wasn't on my side) so I felt that I shouldn't put so much on next time, a little goes a long way.
But I would definitely recommend this for an everyday concealer, and would definitely rebuy it!
Tips: don't rely on the brush too much, dab it in with your fingers
