This concealer is so good and for such an affordable price! The colour range they have is good too. I don't like how sometimes the product gets oily, especially when you squeeze it out.

LA Girl HD Pro Concealer

When you see people rave about this cheap alternative to MAC Studio Conceal (which to me is a holey grail concealer) I had to purchase it to see for myself. First thing I want to mention is the shade range: WOW!! There is a huge range to choose from and if you look through google images there is so many swatches to help as a guide to pick a good shade. Product Claims: Crease-resistant, opaque coverage in a creamy yet lightweight texture. Do I agree with this?? It is definitely creamy and lightweight in texture which makes it a dream to blend out, it covers extremely well in area's of pigmentation and breakouts, but I do find it creases on me and that is even when I set as soon as possible with powder. But I don't want to say it is the product causing it as I do have a few slight fine lines under my eye area's. PACKAGING: I am not a huge fan on the packaging of this concealer. After you remove the screw off lid, you will see a brush tip. The product is discharged on the brush tip and it can be applied using that brush tip. But I prefer to dispense a bit of product out on to a mixing plate then use a concealer brush to apply. What is also great about this product is that you can use other shades to highlight/ contour with as well. I use the shade Porcelain to highlight with then I use the shade Toast to contour with. I find the concealers to last a decent amount of time throughout the day if set with powder.
OVERALL RATING: 8/10
Tips: I love to blend this out with a beauty blender sponge but I think any beauty sponge will work. And set with a powder to prevent any creasing.
I've purchased these concealers in the past, especially when they're on special at Mighty Ape for $7/$8!
The consistency is good, I would say that it's a medium to full coverage, it's a nice formula that doesn't go chalky and sits nicely on the skin.
The only thing I didn't really like is the packaging, it feels really cheap (which I thought was to be expected for something so cheap) and I find it difficult to get the last bit of product out.
Overall a great concealer for the price, I will definitely repurchase one of these when they come on special again.
Another much raved about product. For the price this is fantastic! I have very dry under eyes so found throughout the day that became more noticable as the day progressed. The coverage i was impressed with. It's a very thick concealer. I don't however like the applicator!
I decided to give this a try because I was looking for something with stronger coverage than foundation to cover red acne spots on my face. The shade I purchased is Porcelain.
The concealer comes in an 8g tube. The colour of the tube is indicative of the shade, with black text and black accents. It has a black screw lid. The applicator is a white paintbrush which fills with product when you squeeze the tube. This style of applicator appeals to me as I can use it to paint the concealer directly onto the problem areas on my face.
I found the consistency and the coverage of the concealer to be good. It goes on thickly, but is easy to blend. The only drawback is that the product flows quite easily into the brush, so it is easy for it to fill up with too much product while you are using it. But this is a very affordable and effective product. I recommend it if you are looking for something that gives good coverage without breaking your budget.
This is a must have Cheap concealer ! It was so creamy , easily blends and medium to full coverage. Would recommend to anyone whose looking for a cheap but good concealer.
Tips: For full coverage , put under eyes and leave on while you do eyebrows for example . Once tacky blend oh twith beauty blender.
I like this. Surprised as it was so cheap and I was taking a gamble. Really awesome I'd buy again for sure. Super pleased with coverage and it's great for the price.
I have a couple of these in different shades. What I like about them is the brush included and coverage. I have one that is too dark as a concealer but I used the handy brush to apply it as a liquid contour and blended with foundation and it gave a good sculptured look to my face. Although plastic isn't good for the environment this us good for travel it's not heavy and has the built in brush although like with doe foot applicators could harbour bacteria so it's probably a good idea to try give it a wash. Careful not to squeeze too much product out. Once you get the right colours these are good. I've seen colour correction versions such as peach lilac yellow and even white so there is a good shade range. Watch out for cheap imitation knock offs sold in variety stores and online - could be where some of the mixed reviews have come from.
I haven't tried my mac prolong wear out yet so I will come back and say how this compares when I have tried it, but, so far I am pretty impressed. I like the applicator brush tip of this product as I find it easy to dispense an appropriate amount of product and spread it evenly under my eyes. I have very dark under eye circles and find this disguises them pretty darn well. It is a nice creamy consistency so doesn't feel dry or heavy under the eye and doesn't crease which is the main reason I have issues with so many other concealers. In my experience it wears really well and surprisingly the classic ivory shades actual matches my skin quite well. I go the lightest shade which isn't actually that light but has a peachy tone which is ideal for colour correcting the blue dark circles. Would purchase again and recommend. A steal at the price it retails for.
Tips: Apply in a v shape under the eye and blend out onto the cheek bone and eyelid for a brightening effect.
I use the shade Pure Beige and I love the yellow tone of this concealer. Anything pink just does not work, but I love the way this blends out onto bare skin. Perfect for spot concealing when you don't want a full face of makeup. It is on the thicker side, so a little goes a long way. However, it is prone to creasing if you don't set it with translucent powder. Yet for the price point, I would definitely repurchase.
Tips: Blends out best with a damp beauty sponge.
