I'm a hug fan of the LA Girl Matte Pigment Glosses and this one is no different. The product comes in nice packaging , a wide heavy plastic tube with a matte black lid. The applicator is a bit too wide which makes it hard to get a precise lip line but that's my only real negative about the product. Frisky is a bold berry red and with one swipe of this you get full on pigment. It dries down pretty quickly and doesn't feel awfully stiff like a lot of matte lipsticks. This truly does last all day, I even ate an oily pizza wearing this and whilst a bit transferred, my lips still looked perfect and I didn't need to touch up. Overall, this is super affordable and a gem and I'll definitely try more shades in the future.

I love La Girl Products, and this matte pigment gloss Is another product I will add to my love list!
With being new to lipsticks I wasn't sure if red would suit me, so I took the plunge and picked this up in the vault. I have another but in the shade 'Dreamy' and knew I loved the formula already.
This is a medium red going on, once dried it's actually quite bold and in your face.
The formula is pretty much a matte liquid lipstick. It's thickish and drys matte.
The tube is a plastic see through tube so you can see the product inside with a wand/stick applicator which can make application a little difficult. Today though I tried using a lip brush to apply this product and it works soooo much better!
The formula takes a minute to set and dry but once it does, it doesn't come off. Which I refer to it as 'setting like concrete' it's the only downfall because taking it off, is the most difficult task I find! You really need to scrub it off your lips.
I love this colour and formula minus it's one down side :)
Tips: Apply with a lip brush, makes application easier
The product claims to “last and last”, and this is no lie. I’ve got 3 different shades in this line, but I don’t particularly like to wear them. I find that the finished result looks dry and wrinkly (maybe I’m not applying it correctly??) and it’s too difficult to remove in order to apply something else. I don’t have a problem with any other mattefying lippies from other brands.. oh well. Great brush for precision application though.
I absolutely love this colour! Frisky is a beautiful and vibrant red. When apply you think it is going to a dark shade of red but once it dries and has set in place it is a beautiful bold red. LA Girl Matte Pigments have to be one of my ultimate favorites when it comes to lippys.
The only thing I find a struggle with these pigments is that they are very difficult to remove, and after a while they become patchy but when applying a new coat after a while it becomes even more patchy if you apply a 2nd coat over the first.
Tips: Clean and scrub your lips well before applying and remove your lippy with a good quality make up wipe to save yourself from pulling and tugging at the lips to stop irrational.
