I trialled this product with the ‘LR-P Effaclar H Iso-Biome ,Soothing cleansing cream.’ i found the cleanser to leave a tight feeling on my skin after use. However this product counteracted that tight feeling leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth. The packaging is an easy to use squeeze bottle with plastic lid. There is a lot of writing on the product, front and back with instructions in different languages which could be confusing for some people and hard to read as is a small font. The product consistency is on par with most thick moisturisers, at the time of application it does not feel like this product leaves an oily film, however when washing your face the next day some product residue was noted. The smell is fresh but at times has a chemical undertone which irritated my eyes occasionally. I found that this product as well as the cleansing cream noticeably reduced redness from my hormonal breakouts. Product size is quite small compared with other moisturiser products and for the price point, may be a deterring factor for future purchases from me.

Effaclar H Iso-Biome Moisturiser hydrates oily skin that has been weakened by the over-drying skin effects of acne treatments, to provide long lasting comfort.
The non-comedogenic formula won't clog pores and is suitable for sensitive and oily skin types. The formula is a combination of prebiotics, panthenol, glycerin, niacinamide and thermal water for a balancing, moisturizing and soothing.
The new formula contains Orellna extract to help support the microbiome, and Niacinamide to visibly reduce redness. Effaclar H Iso-Biome Moisturiser has an ultra-light texture with non-greasy, non-sticky finish.

Tips: Product did as said
This is a great product, there's a slight clean scent which doesn't linger when you apply it to your skin. It's packaged in a tube which is my favourite for keeping it hygienic. My skin is combination (dry cheeks, oily t-zone) and this hasn't left me oily or overly dry. It's a very gentle formula and doesn't leave the usual tingling that niacinamide does on my sensitive skin. This has also helped with the redness on my jawline from hormonal acne.
Tips: This is a great, balancing moisturiser but if you feel that your skin gets quite dry in Winter, I would add some facial oil to help with it.
I have sensitive skin with Rosacea and never have any problems using La Roche-Posay products so was excited to try the new Moisturiser and Cleansing Cream. I found the mousturisrer- non-greasy and it does a great job protecting and hydrating my skin. The texture is very creamer and quickly absorbs into the skin leaving me with a nice dewy non greasy look. My skin instantly looks so much brighter and feels so much softer. I like applying my moisturiser with this type of bottle as it is easy to only use a small amount when applying so saves on wastage. The cream spreads easily and I didn't need a lot to cover my entire face so will last a long time despite it only being s 40ml bottle. The product does has a very light fragrance to it but it is very soft smell. Not the cheapest on the market but a good price point for the small amount of product you need to apply. My son has also tried this product and it has definitely helped with this dry areas caused from ance products without causing new breakouts. I would defintely recommend trying this out if you are on acne medication, have sensitive skin or if you are wanting to really hydrate your skin without worrying about creating breakouts.
It's not an oily formula and it applies on smoothly. It's very lightweight and non-sticky. My skin didn't react to the moisturiser and I didn't break out from it. Although it's winter, it did hydrate dry parts of my face (especially my forehead).
Tips: Pair it with the cleanser for the complete clean face routine.
This felt almost like a barrier cream, so since my skin is combination to oily, I only really wear it if I'm going to do heavier makeup that day as it is generally too greasy for me. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin/break me out though.
Tips: Don't use too much at once, especially if you have oilier skin.
I believe this could be good for someone who has really dry skin and not prone to breakouts. It is a little to oily for me as I am going through menopause and have hormonal breakouts that are like really big pimples under the skin. It's hard to get the balance right. In saying that it feels really soft and soothing on the skin....just not for me at the moment.
Although I don’t have oily skin (more on the dry side) it has done a great job of keeping my skin hydrated. It’s not greasy and absorbs nicely. A pea sized amount is enough for full face and neck application. It doesn’t have a chemically smell which is great. I will definitely be buying more of this one
Tips: Just a pea size amount is enough to cover face and neck
I was hesitant when I saw this moisturiser, thinking surely it was just another run-of-the-mill, slap it on & go type of product...However I was pleasantly surprised. It has a very non-offensive fragrance, similar to the other LRP products as well as a lovely smooth texture that softened my skin after the first use. I used about a blueberry size amount or less, and it spread well. It felt balancing, hydrating, and layered well over my Vitamin C & hyaluronic acid and under my SPF. I think this is a lovely skin barrier supporting mosituriser that can be used both day & night. As it claims, it worked well for my oily & sensitive skin, and reduced appearance of redness when applied. I would re-purchase & recommend to others. I didn't experience any breakouts with this product, and it did not irritate my skin at all. The only thing I would improve about this product is if it came in a bigger tube!
Tips: Layer over top of a hyaluronic acid to lock in the hydration. A great one to use when your skin is unhappy!
I have been using this product alongside the La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Iso-Biome Cleansing Cream for the past few weeks and the change in my skin has been monumental. As someone who has struggled for more than 20 years with problematic skin, I have tried everything on the market and this product has thus far been the most successful. Not only have I had fewer breakouts, but my blackheads are also not as prominent, and my skin looks much smoother than It has in a long time. It has also greatly reduced the redness in my face which in turn has given me the confidence to go out in the wild make-up free! The moisturiser is light and non-greasy and makes my skin feel extremely soft. A little also goes a long way so it is great value for money, I would recommend this product to anyone who is dissatisfied with the appearance of their skin.
This moisturiser is pretty much perfect for skin that can be sensitive, or prone to a bit of stinging after using products with active ingredients. The texture is lovely, creamy but feels silky and sinks in quickly. Zero pilling when I wore makeup, which is great. I only had a very small stinging feeling one day of the three weeks that I used this, and I put it down to a sore red nose after a cold. I will repurchase to keep in my stash to use when my skin is sensitive, but it is a bit too expensive for me to use as my everyday... its a small tube and in the low $30s. So definitely a winner, just not for everyday (and night).
Tips: Use with the Iso biome wash to look after sensitive skin :-) great combo
