This felt almost like a barrier cream, so since my skin is combination to oily, I only really wear it if I'm going to do heavier makeup that day as it is generally too greasy for me. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin/break me out though.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Iso-Biome Moisturiser
Effaclar H Iso-Biome Moisturiser hydrates oily skin that has been weakened by the over-drying skin effects of acne treatments, to provide long lasting comfort.
The non-comedogenic formula won't clog pores and is suitable for sensitive and oily skin types. The formula is a combination of prebiotics, panthenol, glycerin, niacinamide and thermal water for a balancing, moisturizing and soothing.
The new formula contains Orellna extract to help support the microbiome, and Niacinamide to visibly reduce redness. Effaclar H Iso-Biome Moisturiser has an ultra-light texture with non-greasy, non-sticky finish.

Tips: Don't use too much at once, especially if you have oilier skin.
I believe this could be good for someone who has really dry skin and not prone to breakouts. It is a little to oily for me as I am going through menopause and have hormonal breakouts that are like really big pimples under the skin. It's hard to get the balance right. In saying that it feels really soft and soothing on the skin....just not for me at the moment.
I'm always excited to try anything La Roche - they have such a great reputation and I've had real success with some of their products in the past. This moisturiser, however, was not as wonderful as I would hoping it would be.
The pros: it had a lovely texture - really silky and not greasy at all. I also really liked the subtle fresh scent which went away quite quickly after using. It felt nice on my face, didn't give me that faint sting like other products can do sometimes if your face is feeling a bit dry and upset.
The main con I had was issue with pilling. I tried with my normal serums underneath, then with the serums but 25-30 mins for them to dry before I applied the moisturiser and every time I had pilling on the sides of my face and my forehead by the end of the day which was frustrating. For that reason alone I probably wouldn't repurchase, as this product is a little on the pricier end and I have other moisturisers that do a good job and don't pill.
Tips: A great choice if you don't intend to layer any other products underneath it in your skincare routine.
This moisturiser is smooth creamy and feels lovely on freshly washed skin..It comes in a nice easy squeeze tube, has no noticeable scent and absorbs quickly.
I used this with a hydrating serum for the day and a rentinol serum at night with no adverse reactions at all.
For me it's not really hydrating enough to be used for a night cream but I think my skin is a little dry for this line, on oilier skin it would be perfect.
It sits nicely under makeup with no pilling or white cast.
I'd recommend this and the cleanser from the same range for anyone with oily skin but it's not a range I'll be repurchasing unfortunately.
This cream is a great comfort for your skin, makes your skin feel really soft and definitely does what it says it should and moisturisers. I find it hard to find a decent moisturiser that doesn’t make your skin feel oily after applying. This one works well with my sensitive skin and helps keep those monthly blemishes away when used with the cleanser for the added backup.
This one isn't too shabby - it doesn't really have a scent and the consistency/texture is fine, not upsetting at all. I do feel like it provides some moisture but wouldn't say it was a game changer, I've ended up leaning towards my CeraVe when I feel dry instead - which I'm surprised by as I adore the La Roche-Posay BB cream for supple moisture! I also found this pilled a bit so only use at night, as it didn't work well under foundation - however it did feel sort of like a primer in that it helped 'blur' the skin somehow! Not sure I'd say it moisturised that well but perhaps the cleanser just dried me out more than anticipated!
Tips: Use it at night only if you're planning to wear foundation as the combo doesn't seem to work so well
I received this moisturiser along with the La Roche-Posay cream cleanser and have been using them together. This is a small tube without a box and again is the usual plain white with some blue and you can definitely tell it's from La Roche-Posay by looking at it.
This moisturiser smells nice, doesn't have a strong smell and is a nice consistency - not too runny or too thick. It feels nice when applied to the skin and doesn't feel greasy and absorbs well into my skin. I like how it is great for sensitive skin and I even use it around my eye area without issue.
Again this moisturiser has Niacinamide to visibly reduce redness, and in use with the cleanser I do think this has made an impact on my skin :)
I will continue using this product as I do like it and think it has helped with my skin sensitivity, along with the cleanser a great product.
Tips: Nope, just use as you would a normal moisturiser after cleansing etc
Such a hydrating light moisturiser!
When I opened the box and seen the small container it came in I was a bit skeptical about it, but it has a beautiful light scent, it smooths over skin so nicely and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.
I suffer with bad dryness over winter and this product has been amazing with dealing with my dryness.
Will I purchase again… 100% Do i recommend to others… 100%
Beautiful light but very moisturising product!!
I have acne-prone and sensitive skin and was pleasantly surprised by this moisturiser. It's lightweight and not greasy and absorbs well. The formula seemed a little thin/watery and wasn't as creamy as I expected. I was also a little hesitant at first because of the fragrance (fragrance normally = irritation for my skin) but I haven't had a reaction so far. The smell reminds me a little of those tangy apple lollies, but it dissipates quickly. My skin is definitely hydrated and smoother, especially my nose which was blackhead prone prior to using this. The redness I normally experience has gone. I still get breakouts, but they don't last as long as usual and definitely don't get as 'angry'. I was pleasantly surprised by this cream, it would be nice to have it in a larger size. Great hydration without being heavy and greasy.
Tips: Can be used morning and night
I like how this moisturiser is small in size so it is easy to carry in your handbag and reapply as needed, although this may not be worth it if it is pricey (received as trial unsure of cost). It is light and easy to apply, does not feel overly thick or oily on the face. My face is generally quite dry, I need not find this as moisturising/hydrating as it could be but after using the La Roche-Posay cream cleanser I had issues with an increase in dryness and breakouts so this may of had an impact on this. Like the cleanser it has a nice pleasant very mild smell.
Tips: Put into handbag and apply regularly.
