Was given a sample of this and happily surprised by how much I liked it!
Gives a lot of radiance back into the skin and helps your skin appear smoother and more replenished. My samples lasted a week and I definitely noticed my skin feeling a bit fresher!
Suitable for most skin types, is leightweight and absorbs quickly. Due to the high price point I'm not sure if I'll purchase a large bottle but may get a smaller size to carry on testing!
Love love love this product! It smells pleasant without being overpowering. It is really easy to apply, the little dropper contains just the right amount for the entire face and even enough for down the neck. My skin definitely has more of a glow but sadly the wrinkles are still there. Although the product is a little pricey my skin does feel amazing so I do think it is worth the money. Really happy I got to trial this, definitely keen to keep using this product, my skin loves it!
What can I say- love at first sight ...or use I should say. I love this serum. It’s so light and easy to use.
The bottle is perfectly weird - when you screw the lid on the dropper goes down so when you next open it the dropper is already filled with serum- no need to pump the air out to suck up the serum- I had never seen this before so was quite mind blown. It’s so simple but so handy! Perfectly measured each time and so easy to use.
The serum is very light and thin. One dropper worth smoothed easily over my entire face - I did use a second dose for my neck and décolletage which resulted in a bit of excess which I put over my hands after and I can say the back of my hands are looking very clear and soft. After applying this to my face - it looks like you have just had a facial- smooth, clear, bright and incredibly soft but not greasy. It just soaks in so easily and makes your skin look beautiful. When they use the words luminous and radiant in the description rest assured this is what you get.
There is no strong scent which I like as some of these higher end serums just smell like perfume.
Being sooo amazed by this serum I went and bought the matching day and night cream and have to say I think it’s a winning combination. Only a couple of days in to the whole combination but I’m loving it so far.
Tips: Go on...just buy the whole range...serum, day cream and night cream lol you won’t be disappointed
I started using this after I received a trial size pack years ago, and I just won't go without it now - under moisturiser (day and night) and my skin feels a million dollars.
This is a brilliant serum - over the months I’ve been using it in my routine I’ve noticed a dramatic increase in skin tone and brightness, reduced pore sizes and scars have become less noticeable. Definitely a must try if you haven’t already!
Tips: Cleanse, tone, the apply serum - leave to dry for a minute or so before applying moisturiser.
I also got a trial size of this product and it is legit amazing. I used it under my foundation and found my skin stayed hydrated and soft all day. But as much as I love it, I just can't afford it right now. It is expensive!

The black boxed packaging is opulent and elegant. It has the Lancome signature small rose on the lid of the box. Once you open the lid of the box there are written instructions and a visual on the inside to show how to use the serum applicator. The packaging makes you feel like you are in for a high quality, luxurious experience.
Inside the box is an elegant, sturdy glass bottle that is cleverly ombre from black to white and has a steel like cap. The cap has the Lancome signature small rose on top.
To use, simply twist the silver cap open to reveal a glass, self-loading dropper. There is no guess work on the correct portion to use, as it dispenses the right amount every time I use it.
I apply Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate after cleansing in the morning as a day serum and in the evening as a night serum. My face looks very forward to this routine as well.
After cleansing and applying Lancome Genifique - Eye Light Pearl, I then apply Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate. Simply unscrew the lid of Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate and press on top of the dropper to dispense the serum into your hand. With your free hand dip your fingers in to the product and dot onto your forehead, nose, chin and both cheeks. Gently rub into your skin.

My experience has only been for a short time but the benefits it has consistently given my skin during this time has already made me a huge fan. At the time of writing my review today, I have been using Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate twice a day for just over 2 weeks. This wonderful serum has 100% smoothed out my complexion and my skin feels supple. My skin is looking the best that it has in a very long time. It is like a pre-skin care booster shot that takes your entire routine to the next level.
I know I have already mentioned it but I do love how my entire face feels smoother and less textured. This is an easy product to use and incorporate into a daily routine. Hydrating goodness.

Genefique youth activating concentrate is the first serum I have tried due to cost. Now I m a big fan of serums! Being able to try it by reviewing has been a real bonus for me as my skin was dull and grainy due to ill health over past year. So the first thing I noticed was a softness and cooling calming effect which helped my slight redness, my skin smoothed out and looked brighter and luminous which has given me a real boost to my confidence. It has a lovely non sticky, easy to apply consistency and you definitely need to apply only one dropper full to cover the face, neck and the any left over on the decolletage, any other left over goes on the back of my hands. The serum soaks in quickly so you can apply a good quality facial sunscreen and or moisturizer with spf so no time is wasted waiting for drying. Straight away your skin feels hydrated, smooth and perked up. I've had no reactions to this serum and my skin can be sensitive to some facial products so its a good quality gentle product. Although its a luxury item price wise I do feel its worth the $$ and you could possibly just use it at night or morning to make it last longer. I have endorsed this product to friends already as an investment in your skin with the added benefit of extra confidence. Now I can see why this product has a holy grail reputation and would save up to buy it. I don't have a large variety of good quality products but I do believe in targeting a hanful of excellent products that give me the results I'm looking for.
Tips: Put the serum in the palm of your hand, spread over palms quickly without rubbing in, then start at the top of you face from forehead down over cheeks, then center of face, across above mouth and chin, down neck and leftover if any on decolletage. Its really easy to apply. Enjoy!
I'm going to start with the only potential negative, which is the cost. This is definitely an investment in skin care, it's not one to pick up on a whim that's for sure - I'd recommend trying a sample first. Chances are you'll be wowed enough to buy it!
I am ticking along in years and coming up to December was feeling a little fed up about my lines and wrinkles. A recent birthday only compounded the grumpiness about my ageing face. So thanks BR, this came at the right time!
The bottle and packaging are pure class, what else would you expect from Lancome?
I've been using this twice a day after cleansing. I've been applying as I would my usual serum when my skin is ever so slightly damp - it seems to help the serum absorb faster and spread easier, without sitting on the skin.
I experience no untoward sensations upon application, but I can feel the product, if that makes sense.
I like to wait around 3-5 minutes before applying my usual moisturiser, just to ensure this is probably absorbed.
After several weeks of use my skin looks and feels remarkably better than before. The texture is more even, less crepey and saggy. Tighter, without being tight. It's plumped up my fine lines and I believe my deeper wrinkles are at the beginning of looking improved.
My skin feels incredibly soft and supple, I don't feel like the dry old crone of just a few weeks ago.
This isn't exactly botox in a jar - but nor did I expect it to be. But as serums go, this is the best I've tried and I honestly don't think it can be surpassed. I will continue use while I put some money aside to replenish when this bottle is empty!
I received two samples of this (total 12ml of product) in the CBBBE. Light serum/watery consistency, slightly sticky on application but that goes away once it dries down. Lightly scented but don't know how to describe it, not offensive or overpowering.
Have been using this in my evening skincare routine for the last 2 weeks and my skin is looking great. Smoother, brighter, lit from within.
I've never tried luxury skincare before now due to the price. However I do have to say that the results are very good. I'm unsure as to whether I would purchase full size as it is still out of my price range, something I may consider in future.
