I found out about these recently and was so excited! The actual heat pack is light and you stick it on and that's it. It slowly heats up over the course of the day and stays warm for the entire work day. I found it super helpful during classes. It was a gentle warmth and very soothing. The pack is quite light and it doesn't feel uncomfortable to have it stuck on all day.
Tips: Make sure you pull the pack taut over where you're sticking it. The more taut it is, the better the distribution of heat. Enjoy.
I love these! I used to get really bad period pain and as I hate taking paracetamol and things like that I had to try something new. These are really great. You just open the packet, peel off the tabs and stick it on whichever part of you is sore. The pads heat up themselves and try literally do last for hours! I used to use these for my shoulder at work when I started to ache and it really helped
i was at an expo with my mum and they were giving them out as free samples so i got one to try, i liked that they stayed on and didnt move at all, but the pain didnt go away. they didnt help at all. i fond using a hot water bottle was better. i wouldnt buy them again
These work well for me, Really well. I have severe woman's problems and usually end up in bed all day when I have my period which is pretty much everyday (lucky me aye?) I was skeptical about these but when I first used them I found they were amazing! The only bad things about them is that there's not enough in the pack and that they don't tend to stay on if you sweat a lot but these still help me get up and function day to day instead of deal with the crippling pain.
Tips: Make sure skin is dry and clean before sticking on :)
I was given these by my sister after she found that they didn't work for her and they didn't really work for me either. I really like the idea but I don't think they did anything for my stomach cramps and it just felt a bit awkward, like I had a pad on my tummy haha, which also pulled out the little hairs there once I had finished using it. I feel like it might work for girls that have really bad stomach cramps but it just wasn't for me
I get really bad endometrial during my period so these are a godsend when pain relief just isn't cutting it. They heat up pretty quickly and the heat lasts for at least 5 hours when I have worn them all day. It can feel a little awkward having one of these strapped to your tummy though haha.
Tips: Wear loose fitting clothing around your stomach, like a swingy dress as these can make you look really bloated as they are quite thick.
I found these quiet weird. They don't feel warm at first but gradually heat up. I also found the sticky stuff was too sticky and hurts when being removed. I also tried using them as a heat pack for my back during labour but didn't find they made much difference :(
Tips: Don't use on areas with lots of hair as the sticky stuff is really sticky and hurts when removing.
Although at home I would much rather a hot water bottle or wheat bag, I found this amazing for when I get bad cramps at school. They stay in place for hours and stay warm for ages, although I found they take a while to actually warm up. I don't know where I would be without these on school days (or just not at home in general) when I get cramps.
I tried these recently because i get really bad period pains during the day but not anymore just attach one of these and off i go period pains be gone for the day love them also keeps you snuggly when its cold to :P
