Lime Crime Velvetines

I own the shade Suedeberry which cost me around 35NZD as I bought from Princess Polly and I have absolutely nothing bad at all to say about LimeCrime Velvetines! I just don't know where to begin!!

Long-lasting, vibrant, matte, easy application - absolutely everything I look for in a lip stain! Obviously, if you aren't a fan of matte lip products then this is not for you, but if you are -as I clearly am- you'll absolutely adore LimeCrime Velvetines!

I find this products stays on much longer than my velour lips and not only is true to colour, it comes in an adorable carousel themed tube! LimeCrime is known for their impeccably pretty packaged lipsticks and their Velvetines range is no disappointment.

I highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone looking for a long lasting, matte lip product at a decent price.

for me having big lips it hard to wear lipstick and go out for a meal becuase the lipstick ends up all over my chin and teeth but with this product it stays perfectly in place all night long and doesn't even come off when you kiss! they have a great range of colours, which i love

I've always had the problem with any kind of lip product of the product rubbing off fast so I've never been able to wear lipsticks/stains out to any place where I can't reapply or where I'm eating. I ordered the black velvetine on a whim one night as I didn't have a good black lip colour and thought I may as well give it a shot. The first time I wore it out, I decided to give it a shot out at a dinner in town. I worried for no reason going to the bathroom every few bites to check it, nothing noticeable had happened to the stain and my lips were still black in all the right spots (no smudging). This is a product I would use many times over.

I recently fell into the velevetine craze and bought the colour Suede berry and it's one of the best beauty discoveries and purchases I've made! I bought it online, so was a little nervous about the shade on me and the how the whole gloss into matte would work as I've never bought a lippy like this before, but I was pleasantly surprised. Suede berry is a beautiful bold, eye catching, sensual yet pretty and girly colour. I guess I'd say it's like a coraly orangy pink tone? It makes a statement and I always get compliments on the colour! It suits my olive skintone nicely and brings out my eyes :) It starts off a smooth, creamy gloss texture, not a gluggy sticky one, (this is what I hate about gloss and why I prefer solid lippys) and within seconds turns into a matte piece of art! It's wonderful! It's so easy to apply and to get right as the applicator is the perfect size and shape, it's easy to create the arrow, and fills in creases when it's in gloss form for a perfect finish! It lasts for hours I can eat, drink, have a yarn, go out dancing and it only needs a wee touch up every couple hrs! Is the perfect hand bag size too. It does feather a bit, however I haven't yet come across a matte lippy that doesn't, and nothing a quick blend and touch up can't solve! I need to own all the colours now, I'm addicted!

I finally made the decision to buy a Lime Crime velvetine in wicked, i was amazed at how it did not dry my lips out at all as some other long wearing brands have done, and how well it lasted, I went with my husband to a 5 coarse dinner and did not have to reapply at all, not once, i drank and ate my way through the evening and still had the perfect pout.

These stay on all day and all night! Matte finish, and are almost a struggle to take off! Fabulous pigmentation and colours!

By far my favourite lippy! Long lasting and the colour doesn't fade or feather. Can't wait to get more colours! Recommend to anyone and everyone!

I loved the finished matte look of this lipstick. I used the colour wicked and it looked amazing! It also stayed on all night even when eating and drinking. It was so stubborn to get off I had to use make up remover. It did dry out my lips a little bit so make sure to use chapstick before putting it on and throughout the night

This lip stain is amazing. It claims to dry matte and to be long wearing. First of all the packaging is pretty and the doe-foot applicator is easy to use and gives a nice finish. Although I did have to slightly wipe the product off the applicator as too much will make the stain bleed before it drys matte. If it bleeds it will stain outside of your lip- which I found difficult to cover/get off without ruining my makeup. A little will go a long way. This lip stain is definitely long-lasting and touch proof as it claims! Just for reference i wore it to my ball and only had to touch up once throughout the night. I brought the colour wicked, the formulation was creamy but thin enough to feel light and glide on, then dry to a beautiful matte deep red colour. These are terribly addictive and I have since purchased more! The do retail around $30- $35 which is relatively affordable compared to MAC and in my opinion better quality due to the longevity. I would 100% refer the lime crime velvetine's to a friend, as I am sure they will love them.

I have been wanting to purchase one of these for ages and have decided to finally buy one due to the influence of many BRA's. I was debating with myself whether to get Wicked or Salem. I decided to purchase Salem due to not having a shade in my lipstick collection like this at all. I absolutely loved the packaging that this came in as it is super pretty. When I first opened up the product I was surprised with how small the applicator is due to every other product I have used similar to this has a decent sized applicator. I absolutely love this shade Salem as it is a matte brown and I find that it suits me which is great. I have found that I wouldn't usually reach for a product of this shade as I never thought that I wouldn't suit me. I absolutely love the staying power of this lip stain and I am definitely purchasing the shade Wicked next pay.
