Linden Leaves Body Oil (all varieties) Review

I have the full sized 'in love again' body oil. The bottle is clear so you can see the strawberry and tamarillo which is cool.

The oil itself is very thick and has a subtle scent. I find that a little bit of oil goes a long way, this is good because the oil is expensive so the fact that its long lasting is a great thing, cause i've used cheaper body oils that you often need to actually use a-lot of oil making them less cost efficient.

I use the oil mostly on my thigh area before bed and like to massage it into my skin. My skin gets very dry so i need something deeply moisturising and this is the product for that!!

I got this oil in a BBBE. I'm a fan of Linden Leaves and I loved the look of this in the packet so I couldn't wait to try it.

Firstly it comes i a cute yellow box with the sides open so you can see the bottle inside. The bottle itself is clear plastic and you can see the beautiful oil inside and what appears to be a slice of lemon. The bottle has a silver screw top and when it is removed the bottle has a plastic cap with a hole. This is not ideal for extracting the oil, but that's a small issue really.

The product itself is divine. It smells like heaven - warm and sweet and citrusy. It makes me feel relaxed. The oil is quite thick and soft and feels like comfort food on my skin. I've been applying it to my face every night and it is very hydrating. My skin feels quite soft in the morning.

All I can say is that I love it! It's so nice to apply before bed, and then enjoy the lingering scent as I drift off to sleep. I'm very keen to try the other flavours having tried the rosehip and avocado.

I highly recommend it and think of it as a luxury product. I'm not sure what this 60ml size would cost, but whatever it is it's worth it. I've been using it for ages and it's barely made a dent in the bottle.

Linden Leaves body oils are such a classic item, but they are still super luxurious. I first bought one of these as a fancy treat item, and was amazed to find out much later that they are actually an NZ family-fun company.

I love body oil as I find my dry skin only needs a tiny bit to look super happy and healthy. This means although this product is not cheap, a little goes a long way, making it more cost-effective than thicker lotions.

I love the range of scents available in Linden Leaves, and the fact they try to choose gentle ingredients that won't bother people with sensitive skin. I'm also super impressed how well they've stood the test of time as a brand. You know when a semi-expensive, natural brand lasts, it's because they make good stuff that people want to repurchase.

In the interest of providing SOMETHING negative, the packaging isn't particularly easy to get into. This means it is highly unlikely to leak in your bag, but you also need to do up the screw cap with greasy mitts. You win some, you lose some!

Linden Leaves Aromatherapy Synergy range has been specially formulated to enhance skin moisturisation and promote cell renewal and repair of aged skin. I have already tried a hand cream from the Aromatherapy Synergy range's Absolute Dreams collection, and liked it, and now this 10 ml sample of body oil from the Pick Me Up collection was a gift in a 2017 Beauty Advent Calendar that I'd bought.

The Aromatherapy Synergy range consists of four fragrances: Absolute Dreams (lavender, sandalwood, cedarwood and orange), In Love Again (neroli, vanilla and sandalwood), Memories (rose, geranium and ylang yang), and Pick Me Up (mandarin, petitgrain, rosemary and lavender). These products are rich in antioxidants, proven to help reduce scarring, stretch marks, wrinkles and fine lines, are specially formulated to strengthen, firm and tone the skin.

This Body Oil is part of the Pick Me Up range and is a moisture-rich blend of organic ingredients, including rosehip, avocado, sweet almond and apricot kernel oils, as well as essential fatty acids, that promise to deeply nourish, hydrate, firm and soften the skin while delivering a long lasting radiant glow.

To use the body oil, I place a few drops of the oil in the palm of my hand before warming it up by rubbing my hands together, and then massage the oil into my skin. The oil moisturizes my skin without leaving an oily residue, and the light citrus scent really is lovely and doesn't linger for too long, so it doesn't compete with perfumes. I'd definitely consider purchasing a full-sized bottle.

Linden Leaves products are free from parabens, SLS and mineral oils. They're cruelty free, and are packaged in recyclable packaging.

I received a deluxe mini of this oil in 'Memories' in a beauty advent calendar. This smells absolutely divine - like burying your nose in a bunch of freshly cut roses. The oil is a great consistency - it's not too runny so it's easy to apply a few drops then rub it in. You don't need to use a lot and it is quickly absorbed to leave you with soft silky skin. The scent isn't that strong once it's applied. I would have liked it to have been a bit stronger actually as I love the smell of real roses. I would use this again but it's a bit pricey for a body oil so I'm unlikely to purchase it for myself.

I had been eyeing these up in the pharmacy for a while but couldnt decide which scent to buy when I spotted a set of 4 for $20. This set has all of Linden Leaves body oils in small sizes so you can try them all before you commit to spending either $30 on the travel size or $60 on the full sized bottles. My favourites were the “Absolute Dreams” and “In Love Again”. Absolute Dreams has a lovely lavender scent and is quite intense at first but settles down on the skin quickly and leaves a very subtle fragrance on the skin, its perfect for unwinding at bedtime. In Love Again has a definite sandalwood smell to it and is quite musky. I love this one the most and have just purchased the full size. The next 2 are “Memories” and “Pick Me Up”. Memories is very rosey and too intense for me but smells quite nice after a while and “Pick Me Up” is quite lemony and is lovely to use in the morning as its quite fresh and zesty. I love how light these oils are on the skin and each bottle is 10mls so you really do get a good amount to use before buying a bigger size. The only thing I wasnt thrilled with was how quickly the fragrance seems to vanish once applied, usually in 15-20 mins its gone all together unless you apply alot. I do love these oils and will buy this set in the future and give as gifts as each one comes in a lovely box.

I think the packaging of this body oil is absolutely gorgeous and would make a lovely gift. I have this in In Love Again and the name is really nice as well. The sandalwood is quite strong in this, which I really like and the oil is light and absorbs quickly. I find that the travel size is more than enough as a little oil goes a long way.

If you're looking for body oil, this is a very elegant choice. It's not cheap, but the large bottle means value for money. As with most good body oils, a little goes a long way, so this bottle will last you ages.

But let's talk about the fruit. Linden Leaves presentation is so beautiful, with fruit and flowers suspended in their body oils. For that reason, this was my choice when purchasing a massage oil for hubby (I chose the scent 'In Love Again' - cheesy but suitable for a romantic massage!).

The bottles are not super quick to get into, but they will never spill in your overnight bag (the WORST!) and the scent is nice, but not too strong (as a massage oil you can't have anything that is so girly hubby won't use it on you, can you?).

This is hands down the most beautifully presented bottles of body oil that I have come across. This is a pretty simple mixture of oils, sweet almond, apricot, rosehip and vitamin E infused oil. But what makes this gorgeous besides the scent is that the clear bottle has dried fruit and flowers in the bottles. The scent is also amazing. I first came across this body/massage oil when I was working at a spa and they used this to massage their clients. My favorite scents are Memories and In Love Again. Memories features beautiful red roses in the bottle and the rose geranium scent made me love rosey scents. Before smelling this body oil I used to associate rose scents as a scent for older women and grandmas. This smells more like a modern, light and fresh floral rather than heavily sweet, outdated scent.

In Love Again was the most popular scent at the spa and my fave. The bottle has dried tamarillo and and strawberrys in the bottle. The scent is fruity and bit sweet.

It is a massage oil it does need a bit a massaging to get it to absorb but it does work well as a body oil. This makes a gorgeous gift and looks stunning on a dresser or in the bathroom. The Memories one makes an excellent Valentine's Day gift and works out to be cheaper than a bouquet of red roses and more useful. I have given bottles of this to my sisters as Christmas gifts. It is pricey but a full-sized bottle is more than twice the size of other brands of body oil.

I was gifted a travel size linden leaves 'in love again' oil for my birthday and wow was I impressed... the oil makes your skin supple and smooth and has a fruity scent that takes me to a far away tropical destination when I smell it :)
