Carmex Lip Balm

This product is amazing. It is my go-to favourite lip balm. It tingles and makes your lips feel cold when you first apply it - this really shows that it's working. For only $5 you must buy this product!

I always have a tub of Calmex in my bag, It moisturizes and soothes my lips. My lips stay moisturized for hours without having to constantly apply the lip balm, the flavored ones smell amazing as well.

Love carmex. I have only tried the tube so far. Its slightly thinner formula than lucas papaw. And quite glossy. A previous reviewer said the pot is a thicker balm compared to the tube. Went camping over Christmas my lips got dealt to with all the sun and wind etc being outdoors alot. I popped into the local chemist to get something with some grunt as my lucas papaw ointment wasn't helping. Was given this. 2 days later I have smoother, glistening healthy lips. Better than they have been forever.. feels like. I get dry lips in winter too. Now I can't leave this stuff alone. Even my husband asked where my papaw cream has gone.. not a huge fan of the taste of carmex.. Bit icky. If you dont like a minty/vaseline type taste you may not be a fan. But i see they do a cherry flavour. So if you like a lip balm with a good taste maybe try that. But I can forgive it that because it works so well. Give it a try. It works. Better than papaw...yes I said that.. and I have had a long time love affair with papaw. Until recently. Now it is dead to me.

This product is awesome I originally bought it for my partner who had a coldsore cause someone recommend it for that an we all have been using it ever since its such a good all round product

I love Carmex. I have the cherry stick in my handbag and take it everywhere with me. I also keep a Carmex pot at work, so I am never without it. I work in a large air-conditioned mall so I find my lips dry out quite badly and Carmex is the first lip balm that has kept my lips soft and hydrated.

Whilst I carry this product on in my handbag I must admit that I prefer the cherry Carmex by far. I find this product feels a little heavy and greasy when I put it on. I do however love Carmex and it does work to relieve rough, dry and chapped lips. I would love it if I could get the Cherry Carmex in the tube as I find the tub gets sand, dust and fluff stuck in the lid where the tube is much better. The tube also holds more.

This is probably one of least favourite lip balms. Personally, I find it makes my lips almost too glossy and plumped up and I already have very full lips so just end up looking a bit silly. It has a horrible smell - I can literally smell it a mile off. Personally I prefer balms with a bit more of a subtle smell.. And it is just sooo sticky. However, when I do manage to leave it on long enough, it does really moisturise dry, sore, cracked lips so in that sense, it's a good product. Oh, and the sensation I also find really burn-y. It's a very strong tingle; way more so than the blistex balms which have a subtle tingle for a few minutes. This one just keeps tingling! Sorry - not a very nice review, but got to have a range of opinions right? And this product is just not for me!

This product is a miracle in a tube I swear. I love the original and the cherry scents, I exfoliate my lips and then apply a generous amount of this all over and within seconds my lips are feeling refreshed and slightly tingly. This acts as a perfect base before applying lipstick as it's slightly tacky and has fully moisturised my lips which is great for a matte lippy over top! Definitely recommend to anyone who has severely dry or chapped lips, it's a miracle worker and I am yet to find anything else as fantastic.

I hadn't ever heard of this brand and wouldn't have ever used it as I tend to stick with brands I know or ones that are recommended to me.

I was lucky enough to receive this as a freebie and it reminded me a little of Blistex's lip balms - that tingly sensation.

I'm not overwhelmed by the scent but I really love that tingling sensation and I do feel like it moisutrises and smoothes out my lips. I carry this in my handbag at all times and I will be repurchasing this again even though I don't like the smell.
