Hurraw Lip Balm

I have 4, I will buy more. I need the entire collection and I will not be satisfied until I have them all. I buy them all of She Lives Cruelty Free and I cannot recommend that company or this brand enough. Coffee Bean is my personal Favourite, but I also use Mint, Grapfruit, and Coconut.

I love everything about the Hurraw lip balms. They are raw, vegan and cruelty free whilst still being super affordable and accessible. They have an amazing range of flavours which smell divine with no fake, plastic traces. I personally picked the lemon and coffee flavours (purchasing from shelivescrueltyfree.com) and prefer the freshness of the lemon. The packaging is reasonably sturdy and the balms are easy to apply with no sticky fingers required.

Although these are a brilliant alternative to Blistex, Nivea, EOS etc, they don't have a wow factor. The hydration is provided, but it doesn't last once the balm has faded from the lips. They are perfect to add into your nightly routine, or apply under lipstick, but they aren't particularly intensive. These wouldn't be enough to treat dry, cracked or flakey lips and they don't give the super nourished, hydrated plumpness that I am seeking. I am yet to find the lip balm that does this though, so perhaps my expectations are too high.

If I was making an online order I would probably slip another one of these in, although I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase them. It would be great to purchase a few from iHerb to have on hand for little gifts.

After hearing all the hype surrounding this product, I was intrigued to try it. I added it to my iherb cart numerous times but always deleted it before processing it. Did I really need another lip balm? Was this product as good as everyone said it was?

The answer, Yes and Yes.

I love the hurraw lip balm. I know im not a lip balm fanatic like some of you lovely BR members on here, but I do own a fair amount of lip balm and…. I have never finished a lip balm off. I have never been so addicted to using a lip balm that I emptied it and repurchased another one, even if I loved the product. Enter Hurraw.

I got the vanilla flavour, and when I first saw the lip balm, I was intrigued. It isn’t the generic circular tube, but instead an oval shaped tube. Genius. This doesn’t roll away from me, and I can secretly stash this behind the counter at work without fear of it rolling off and onto the floor. The packaging itself is effective, with the standard twist design, and a simple but effective label.

The product itself it nice. It has a nice sweet vanilla scent to it. A smell I love, although it doesn’t have the depth of scent that some vanilla products I purchase have, it still has a nice smell which I don’t find sickly. The product is easy to apply, and I find the oval shape especially handy at times of application because it just fits my lips really well, making the product easily and smoothly glide onto them.

I apply this lip balm all the time and I love it, and my lips love it. I find it hydrates my lip while I’m using it, but the hydration is only there when the lip balm is on and there are not obvious long-lasting or permanent effects or so I thought. I used this throughout the day when my lips were sore, and a bit dry, by the end of my day my lips were smooth and soft! It also gives my lips a subtle gloss, and is great for those days when I don’t want to wear a high maintenance lip product. However, when I compare this product to other lip balms I own, I do find it ever so slightly greasier than them, but the lip balms still have a texture and consistency which I enjoy, I just thought I would point that out for the sake on an in-depth review.

Another thing I love about this brand is all the flavours they have, and the fact that they have some unique flavours such as cardamom rose, and chai which are the ones currently sitting in my iherb cart! But they also have the classics, from the sweet vanilla and chocolate to the fruity cherry and grapefruit. There really is a flavour to suit anyone! Plus, I love what this company stands for in regards to its vegan aspects as well as it being cruelty free. An aspect I am paying more and more attention to when I purchase products.

Do I recommend this product to others? Let’s just say this is the first lip balm that I think il be using to the very end. Worth a try, and is really affordable from I herb.

To begin with I wasn't sure whether these would live up to the hype but boy am I glad I decided to try them. Kapha & Cinnamon were my first purchases quickly followed by Black Cherry & Moon Balm. Oh my word the Moon Balm is so good! I thought it was a bit gimmicky to begin with but it's luxurious and my favourite so far. I love the shape of the tube, no rolling away and perfect 'lip' shape. Love these! Pretty sure I'm going to have quite the collection soon

I have heard so many raved reviews on the Hurraw Lip Balms, so I grabbed me a bunch when Oh Natural was having a sale! So glad I have purchased me some, I now understand why everyone is crazy in love with these lip balms!

The Hurraw Lip Balm comes packaged in a small twisted oval tube, it is small and handy, can carry in handbag / mini purse and/or your pocket. It's very handy! The formula is very moisturizing, it instantly melt into your lips once applied. The lip balm keeps my lips moisturized for hours, made difficult lipsticks application turns easy!

Hurraw Lip Balms is available is many flavours, so far the night treatment balm is my favourite!

I love these. They are so moisturising and come in great flavours. I currently have chai spice and black cherry on the go. I use lip balms all the time and have them everywhere. I originally won one of these from a facebook competition and just loved it so bought a few different flavours with the next iherb order I made.

I often get quite dry lips so a lip balm is always part of my daily routine and I have them stashed all over the place - in the car, at work, in the bathroom. I came across some reviews of the Hurraw lip balms and thought it would be the perfect balm for me. I bought the Blue chamomile vanilla night treatment balm to keep by my bed to add to my night time routine. It has a lovely scent which I really struggle to describe, but no taste which I found a bit disconcerting at first. The product applies beautifully and has a really gorgeous smooth consistency and doesn't feel greasy at all. I don't find it lasts particularly long though so while it is a lovely balm, I haven't noticed any difference at all while using it. The biggest plus I have with this product is the clever tube shape - it's oval so you can put it down and it doesn't roll away!! Genius!

As you can see from my title, I love this product! I do have plenty of reasons to love this lip balm. I am a lip balm enthusiast - what a name right? Well I reckon I am because I love lip balm more than lip stick and lip glosses. I have some lip products but in the end I always tend to go to the love of my lips, which are lip balms. I have tried plenty of lip balms, not all of the brands but some famous and not so famous brands. I have tried EOS (you can read my review about it from the EOS section) and I have tried other not so well known. If you are an iHerb shopper you are probably familiar of the lip balm Seirra bees/ Madre Bees which are less than $1 or sometimes free! Insane right, I truly loved that lip balm because they were super duper affordable and they work very well! And they were also organic which is always a bonus in my opinion. I did not come across Hurraw! for a while, I think I saw it one day and didn't think so much of it because I was sure nothing is better than Seirra/Madre Bees, until one day the youtuber Shaaanxo recommended Hurraw! So I tried it and at first I was skeptical, I was a bit thrown off from the price and I was expecting nothing special about it just like EOS, I thought is just another fad. Until I tried it and OMG I was so wrong. I love this lip balm! I tried the Hurraw! Almond and it was truly almond-licious! The scent, the smell and the flavour is so lively like true almonds! It felt like eating an almond! Not only do I love the flavour, I love the effect of this lip balm on my lips! It truly moisturises my lips and it leaves a glow/shine like I just applied some lip gloss! It makes my lips very smooth and yes soft as well! I feel that is has protected my skin from chapping and from drying. I was impressed with this lip balm. Not only because of the super duper positive effect on my lips but also because of the ingredients! This product is organic, vegan and raw! What more could I ask for? And most of all they are cruelty free! That truly puts the icing on the cake! I know this product is quite pricey but it is worth it, for this product has good deeds to your lips and to the environment. I recommend this to everybody!

When I saw this online, I was really excited. They had so many flavours, more than most ranges. They're an ethical product and vegan to boot! The packaging is lovely and the name is cute.

Unfortunately I wasn't such a fan of the coverage. For me, this balm seemed to just go on slick, and it didn't seem to have much staying power. A couple of sips of water from my bottle and I had to reapply. I didn't notice a big difference to the over-all softness of my lips.

However... the flavours really are amazing. I got two, one cinnamon (tinted) and one almond. The almond just rocks my world! It smells and tastes so perfect, like marzipan! So, in that sense... yes I probably will buy this again, even knowing some of the short comings. The price is reasonable and there were so many different flavours that I wanted to try.
