Picked this up a while ago hoping it would give some relief to my winter chapped lips. Have to say though I found that the formula sat on top of my lips, left a sticky residue, didn't absorb into my lips at all or make them feel any more hydrated. Not a repurchase and would not recommend to anyone looking for a hydrating lip balm.
I really like these lip balms. They are super moisturizing and leave your lips hydrated. Quite inexpensive and mine has lasted me so long. They smell great and I really want to collect them all. Super cute packaging and you can really find them anywhere.
Just as the name suggests, baby lips gives both the feeling and appearance of silky softness! Not only does it glide on smoothly, this product provides intense hydration that lasts a decent amount of time. I only found myself reapplying sparingly, more out of habit rather than actually needing to. This product is extremely cost effective, and I recommend it to anyone needing something easily accessible and cheap, yet effective. I found that baby lips made my lips noticeably softer, and found them perfect for applying underneath lipsticks!
Baby lips is affordable at around $4 and it does what it should, keeps your lips moisturised and soft. They smell amazing and do not have the disgusting taste other lip balms have. They keep your lips moisturised for a long time, without you having to reapply, but I usually end up reapplying about 4 times a day anyway when I'm using one.
If you're wondering about which one to go for, in terms of moisture, I find they're all just as good as each other. However, i highly recommend the Mango Pie Baby Lips, as it has a strong enough scent but not one that is overpowering.
If you're not so sure about the 'GLOW' series, which tints your lips based on the natural pigment in them, I have had the Baby Pink one, and it works perfectly. It tinted my lips just enough to have a spot of colour without being gross around the edges like many other tinted lip balms, so if you're looking for a little bit of colour but something that still conditions your lips, i recommend it!
Tips: This is easy to wear under another lip product to keep your lips moisturised! If you do this with a GLOW lip balm you can blend the tinted effect in with whatever you put on top!
I'll be honest when it comes to the Baby Lips Lip Balm I'm a hoarder! I have three of the six picture, Antioxidant Berry, smoothing cherry and the 'limited edition' protecting berry....Its my mission to have the whole collection! On the packaging the first thing that 'sold' me was the words 'instant 8 hour moisture', They don't lie. I don't have to keep re applying through out the day, however I do apply them at least 3-4 times a day to top up the glossy shine :) They smell amazing, and hydrate. The neat wee sticks are colourful, playful and cute, easy to tuck away in your handbag and pocket when out and about. You can find Baby lips at supermarkets and pharmacies for roughly $4-5, can't go wrong with a price like that!
Now I also must talk about ones I recently came across also...the Baby lips pink range. I think there is two in this line I could be wrong but I own the GLOW pink blast. It does the exact same thing as all the others smell divine, hydrates and moisturizes BUT these ones have a slight tinge of pink when applied. So if you are not one for lipstick or shimmery lip glosses these are perfect! they give your lips a slight pop of subtle pink xx These also retail for aound the same price $4-5
Yes, I'm guilty for hoarding way too many lip balms, but in my defence they do like to go for little walks.
Baby lips come in soo many shades and flavours to suit anyone's taste. They're super affordable with it only retailing for $4.99 NZD and they're widely available.
Baby lips condition and hydrate your lips letting them feel soft and supple. You can also get tinted baby lips if you need a pop of colour on your lips.
Baby lips are great for winter as the cold weather and harsh winds can dry out your lips.
Tips: Use them over and under a matte lipstick, it'll prevent your lips from drying and makes wearing matte lipsticks more comfortable.
This product is amazing - perfect for cracked and dry lips. I rely on this product throughout all seasons and it does not disappoint!
I love the feel, and taste, of this lip balm and it does make my lips feel great, however, it doesn't last long on my lips and I didn't feel like there were any long term benefits and changes to my lips. Great for short term, wouldn't buy again for the long term
I use this lip balm daily! Its one of my go to lip products! It makes my lips feel amazing and even adds a bit of colour. Its a great lip balm and its such a great price too!! Oooooh and I forgot to mention it smells amazing :)
Tips: Great under a lipstick :)
