I got this the other day as I was out walking and my lip's got so dry and sore from the wind I had to try this as It was on special aswell as because I've read such good reviews on here about it. I got the one In a stick, My first Impression was I enjoyed the smell, I can't really describe It but I liked It. The price was reasonable at $4.00. As soon as i applied it on my lip's the stinging and dryness instantly disapeared after first use, which impressed me hugely. The downfall for me with this product though is that it's pretty much vasaline made for your lip's. I found It did'nt absorb into my lip's but just sat ontop on the skin. It also contains petroltum, So that made me get put off by that alittle bit. To me It's pretty much just vasoline in a stick. I will use it though when my lip's are shockling dry and sore from windburn.

Tips: It's a good product, Does what it say's,affordable, But only apply alittle at a time otherwise you may get an oily feel residue on your lip's
I found this lip balm at my local pharmacy. I had never seen it before so thought I would give it ago. It smell is not to bad not over powering. It glides on and feels cool on your lips. I noticed within a few weeks my lips were smooth and have never looked better. Such a great price for a really amazing lip balm.
Tips: Put your lip balm on just before you put your lip stick on, It adds extra shine to your lips and they will look great!.
This balm is wonderfully moisturising and I love the tingly, cooling feeling it gives my lips. The bright tube makes it super easy to locate in my abyss of a handbag and applying it is a dream as it's in a basic squeeze tube which also means no lids popping off in my bag- HOORAY! The texture is very thick and moisturising so I prefer to use it at night before bed and as soon as I wake up in the morning mostly as a way to get my lips ready for whatever I put on them that day. As mentioned, it is extremely thick so it doesn't just absorb into your lips like your average Babylips, or Chapstick might so keep that in mind before buying it.
I tried the cherry version of this lip balm and found that alongside it being a revolting tasting lip balm that some how snuck onto my tongue without my knowledge, it also stung my lips horribly. I have sensitive lips and only use lip balms that I know don't react with me, I thought i'd give this one a go, but now it's just sulking in my bathroom never to be used again. DON'T use this this lip balm if you occasionally get a reaction to some products OR if you just don't fancy a horrible tasting balm!
Tips: Try using Lucas' papaw ointment instead, it's natural so doesn't react with my lips, and its got an average taste.
Everyone seems to love carmex lip balms, unfortunately I just couldn't get used to the tingly feeling these menthol based lip balms give to the lips. I find it does this even more so than blistex which I also don't love but it does lessen after a little while. Also found it a little sticky. Will not repurchase. For those of you that love that tingling though, you would probably love these.
I have this in the little jar and think its really cute and compact. I love the bright yellow they have used as it stands out against some of the other lip balms out there on the market. So, my first impression of this is that I love the texture, not too thick and not too thin. I love the scent/fragrance of this, as it reminds me of Vicks Vapour Rub due to the menthol ingredient in it. However, after I've had it on for awhile though, it starts to feel a bit gluggy, although it doesn't look gluggy, it feels like it is, I guess its similar to Vaseline. It definitely leaves your lips nice and moisturised, so no complaints there, for me, but I've given it 4 stars due to the texture of it after its been on awhile. Other than that I really like it.
Tips: If you don't like the texture of Vaseline on your lips, then this product may not be the one for you.
Carmex is my second fiddle to Blistex - sometimes mainly in winter my lips turn to custard and i need something really thick and penetrating and carmex does the trick for me. the only downside for this for me is the smell its a bit like 8hour cream and blistex mixed but i guess they all smell like that. definately a great lip conditioner
Another staple for makeup artists everywhere. I like the version in a little pot best. A cooling and soothing godsend for lips that have been doing too much kissing or that have sunburn or windburn. Feels nice and tingly and hydrates the lips when they need it most.
I apply this everynight before sleeping. and I love the cooling sensation it gives me. When I wake up in the morning my lips feels so soft and moisturized. It has helped my dry skin from summer. Really love this.
So I have to give this one a thumbs down. Not only do I think Camphor is not a smell for lipbalm but it had salicylic acid in it which I am allergic to (face comes out in a pimply blister type rash). Didn't think to check if a lipbalm contained it as it's usually found in products for oily acne prone skin. Weird. Far nicer products out there!
