Lush It started with a Kiss Lip Tint

I really liked this product apart from the fact i could smell it before i even opened the parcel it came in. It was very strong smelling to me which was a little off putting to be honest. Once you get past the smell being a bit over powering though, it is a luscious lip tint. Feels so soft on your lips and i found it glided on with ease. The colour was just the right shade for me and lasted well on my lips. I kept wanting to reapply it as it felt so smooth and supple on my lips he he Packaging is cute but came open in my bag which was not fun to deal with after, so in conclusion, four starts from me, Overall it Works well, lasts, colours and feels good but bit too strong smelling for me and the packaging could do with a little readjustments to get a 5 star rating :)

The smell is absolutely amazing! As soon as I opened it I could smell it. I absolutely loved the bright colour but was disappointed at how long it actually stayed in my lips. I was sent this product to review, but I don't think I would purchase the product my self.

Firstly - I am a massive LUSH fan. I love 99.9% of everything I have tried from them. I was super excited to try this as I am obsessed with red lips and I looooooooooooove LUSH.

This comes in a cute little lip balm tin that is great for carrying around in your handbag. I haven't ever had an issue with the lid coming off and the tin is sturdy.

The scent of this (as with everything LUSH make), is absolutely divine. When I first opened it and smelled it I wanted to eat it haha. It's a spicy, sweet and sexy scent.

The look of the balm in the tin is absolutely stunning - I couldn't wait to wear it. It is a little messy to apply (I use my fingers), and can make your fingers feel a little greasy but I just wiped them with a baby wipe and was good to go.

The pigmentation in this is pretty good. It gives a light red tint to your lips that is wearable for any time. I think this would be perfect for those who are wanting to start wearing red lips but who are a little scared to go with a full on red pout.

Be warned, when you wear this you will constantly be wanting to smell your lips hahaha :P

I like this as it is nourishing and hydrating and gives your lips a little sexiness.

I doubt I will repurchase it only because I have heaps left and because I also have a lot of other lip tints. This is gorgeous though and I do recommend giving it a go - you won't regret it.

Very pigmented scarlet red tint, unfortunately the wrong shade to be flattering on my olive skin tone. The sweet scent is nice but strong. However the biggest disappointment was how dry the formula felt on my lips.

I love the smell of this product, it's one of the first things that hit me and made me buy it. The red apple and cinnamon are strong, two things I love very much. It looks like there's not a lot of product, but holy moly does it go a long way! I found that while it is very red in the pot, it goes on the lips less pigmented. I also found it dries out the lips a fair bit, and may feel a little uncomfortable or odd. It's a very cute subtle yet bold kinda colour.

I purchased a wee tin of this during Lush's Boxing Day sale for half the usual price. I probably should have read the reviews here first, but I loved the look of the packaging, and I loved the name, and I loved the idea of a crimson red tint.

Alas I did not love this at all.

Actually, to be fair, I still like the little tin, it's cute. But cute doesn't cut it when the tint is not mint.

On opening the tint I fell in love with the colour, so pretty, so red! But strangely enough on me it applied as being super pink, and not in a flattering way. More in a scary clown 'run for your life' way. I tried to apply less, but then it didn't really cover my lips properly and looked patchy, so it was a bit of a lose/lose situation.

Compounding matters was the scent... I expected it to be quite sweet and appley, but all I got was spice and I didn't enjoy that aroma on my lips or lingering up towards my nasal cavity.

I tried applying this tint a few times, but each time I ended up wiping it off and popping on a bit of lippy. I've since lost it (and I only got it at the beginning of January). I've no idea where it's gone, and I'm really not bothered that it's disappeared either. I think it's safe to say this falls into my 'not a favourite' category.

I LOVE this lip stain!!!! It smells and tastes so lush, and it stays on for ages. It has a lovely exfoiliating feeling when you first put it on, but then it blends in nicely and turns smooth on your lips. It's such an amazing colour too and goes with so many of my outfits and moods! You can layer it up so it's a suttle dull red, and then the more you put on the more vibrant the colour is. I've had this wee pottle for 6 months now, and I'm only just through the top layer - great value for money!

This is a fantastic lip tint!!! It not only smells delicious, but it also tastes delicious!! When you first put it on you may think that it feels a bit heavy, but it smooths out and the colour stays on for ages!!

I'll admit, having worked fo rlush I'm pretty biased and usually love thier products, but once in a while something comes along I just don't like at all. It's a nice flavour, but the colour is kind of intense but so smudgy it's as if they have literally mixed a lip balm with a lipstick. Something just isn't right about it

it's sooo weird! like putting sand on your lips, coloured sand that stains. it has granules in it which make it uncomfortable to wear as lip colour. i will occasionally wear for a bit of colour but not my favourite. not worth the high cost....
