Tips: wear on its own for a peachy shimmer or I add over another lipstick for a diff colour change and smell def is lovely for a date night too has a great peach smell :D
I have both the peach and the blackberry shades. They are a great price, easy to find in the shops and overall a lovely lip balm. The peach colour I'm not as keen on purely for the colour as it doesn't suit me but I highly recommend the blackberry. It looks lovely and adds quite a pigmented colour that last well ... Almost like a hydrating lip stain. It is actually 1 of Emily Noels (big you tube beauty guru) fav lip products
This lip balm leaves a tinted shine to your lips and has a mild taste of peach. Nice and moisturising for dry lips which is perfect for winter time. Good price and readily available in supermarkets.
This is probably one of the first lipbalms I've used many years ago. It was very affordable (think it was on sale for like $3) and you could find these in almost all supermarkets. The nivea lipbalms comes in a standard twist up stick with a protective lid. It's easy to use and applies smoothly. I find it's quite thick and soft so you really don't need to press hard to have a thick layer on your lips. It has a little bit of a tropical/fruity scent but not exactly peach. There's a tiny bit of peachy colour which helps make my lips look a bit more 'alive' without looking like I'm wearing lipstick. I think it does provide a barrier to help reduce the amount of moisture loss but it doesn't actively add any moisture to already dry lips.
Not too bad for a cheap tinted lipbalm but it doesn't stand out enough for me to repurchase it.
has a wonderful smell and keeps lips moisturized for an hour or so. the colour is subtle but seems to not show up very evenly on the lips however this could just be an issue with me applying it. one issue is it seems to get melty for a lack of better word? and a little sticky too, which means you can end up with more on your lips than intended or can end up getting a lot of it stuck around the inner tube.
I'm so torn on this lip balm!
It smells/tastes divine. Like a real peach! But, no I do not want orange lips. It's such a weird colour. I wish they had made the tint a blush pink or something more natural, but it's literally orange. For this reason, I won't buy this again.
I used to love NIVEA lip balms back in the day so I thought I would revisit them, but sadly this one just didn't do the job. The lip balm is generously sized and comes in a cute peach coloured tube. The balm itself's surface area is quite wide, so as someone with small lips it can be a bit awkward to use as I end up inevitably getting product applied outside of my lips. The product SMELLS GREAT, it has a delicious peach lolly scent, that I really enjoy and I can imagine would be ideal for a pre-teen or teenage girl as well. Unlike the other NIVEA lip balms, this doesn't really provide my lips with much of a tint, it has a slight tint to it, but if your lips are already a pink or peach shade, this is barely noticeable. I want to like this but it just doesn't feel like it does anything. It smells great but it doesn't feel like it hydrates my lips at all, or even sticks to my lips. Within 5 minutes of applying this, it's basically gone but I don't feel like it's done anything. The product seems almost too plasticy in texture for it to sit properly on the lips so it doesn't act as a barrier for my lips or hydrate them. I could get past that if this was also a lip tint as at least it would be providing something, but this merely smells nice and doesn't really do anything. It could be a good for a kid or pre-teen wanting to start off with beauty products, but I don't find this fulfils its promises of providing lip care or moisturisation at all.
I had really high expectations of this - well mostly moisture with a hint of colour and now I won't even touch it if I'm desperate (Seriously I have a stash of unopened ones from gift packs that I refuse to use).
The Good: It really is a beautiful colour and my goodness, the smell is amazing!!(I mean please I need a candle that smells as good as this does) But unfortunately that's where it ends.
The Bad: I found it highlighted any and every flaw in my lips. I have absolutely no idea what Nivea is referring to when they mention "Hydra IQ" as this provides little to no moisture or nourishment at all. If anything I would describe it as quite a dry lip balm. It's a little grainy, you feel it as you're putting it on and its really obvious through colour distribution, the grains stand out (almost as if the particles are too big).
Tips: If you have dry lips and you're trying to relieve them and the discomfort, look into different products as this will only exaggerate the problem.
It's affordable ,I love the colour and it smells great. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I would recommend it to anyone
