I purchased the shade 'cotton candy' which I love the scent of, almost cherry like!. The colour in the tube looks more red shaded, however it applies as a pink shaded gloss. Its thin and lasts ok. For the price I would buy again

Tips: Looks great over muted shades of lipstick
Growing up in the late 90s, I was an avid lip gloss user (lipstick was out of vogue), and became anti-gloss post millennium. My memories of gloopy glittery lip products, with their tendency to attract hair, made me run for the hills. Lately, sick of my beloved matte lipsticks, I let my early 30s eye wander over to a shinier lip liquid. Lip gloss is hot again! like other 90s items like slip dresses and overalls. The Wet 'n' Wild lip glosses were cheap, and like the proverbial suit, hard to resist. I chose "Berried Treasure" from the forbidden fruit, and set sail on an ocean of freshness. Lip gloss is infinitely less taxing than matte formulas, and evokes a youthfulness that I crave. I have been hooked on this tube for a week now. It isn't insanely shiny and it doesn't feel like glue.
Tips: Don't frost your lips like a cake- smear lightly
I haven't tried or used lip gloss in years, but this is the most affordable one I've seen around that I had to give it a try. I bought the shade Cherry Amour (E5514), which is a cherry red shade.
I exfoliated my lips before applying this and the lip gloss applicator made it easy to apply and go around the edges of my lips. The lip gloss gave more of a sheer red, kind like a lip tint that's glossy, but if felt very moisturising and my lips felt nourished. My lips remained moisturised even after drinking and eating with it, but the colour did fade. I reckon it would look great over a deep red lipstick for extra boldness and shine.
I highly recommend this. It's affordable, especially for those on a budget and it's cruelty free.
Tips: Exfoliate lips before applying.
I bought a bunch of these at Christmas-time in a Farmers sale for use as stocking fillers and of course I popped one in my own stocking too! For the price they're not a bad gloss - perhaps just a little sticky. The pigment isn't that intense, which is probably to be expected for the price, but they do add a pop of colour to your make-up, and are quite nice when you're creating a very light, day look.. And there are so many colours! I have Rasp-berry Voice which is a light berry shade, and it's been getting a workout over the summer holidays. The shimmer is quite nice - not too subtle, not too mirrorball - and the fragrance is underwhelmingly subtle (some cheap glosses have that strong chemical smell and this doesn't), and wearing it does make me feel a little pouty and nostalgic for the early 2000's. All in all - for the price, it's not a bad buy! Get one. Hey - get two. You can afford it!
Tips: I prime my lips first with a primer pencil to make the pigment stand out a little more. Also - avoid windy days without a hair tie :)
