I was really excited to use a lip scrub for the first time. I used the bubble gum flavor and it smells and taste delicious! I did find that afterwards my lips feel smother and more hydrated afterwards but to be honest my lips weren't to bad to start off with.

Tips: Don't rub to hard!
I always thought the idea of this product was disgusting (looking back i'm unsure why, as it's just the same as a face/body exfoliant). However, once I used it I was hooked and it is now one of my staple beauty products. Not only does it leave your lips super soft (always but balm on afterwards) it tastes freakin delicious. Seriously. It's a mission not to eat it straight from the jar.
Tips: Buy two. One to use and the other to eat.
I bought the cola one for myself, and it leaves my lips so soft, and takes away the nasty flakes before I put on a lipstick, especially matte. My mum and best friend liked it so much I ended up buying some for them as gifts, then my sister-in-law, my grandmother and other best friend as Christmas gifts. Everyone loves them. And the price tag is amazing, especially for how long it lasts, because there's so much in the pot. An extra fave of mine for he cola is the little edible hearts that make my heart melt. One problem I have is that sometimes the sugar gets everywhere, like up near my nose somehow, and that my lips can feel slightly sticky.
Tips: Put lip balm on afterwards to keep from feeling sticky (I don't know if this happens with any of the other ones that aren't cola!)
I got the sweet lips flavour - a mix of vanilla and chocolate. This is by far my favourite flavour, and though you probably shouldn't lick it off, it does taste pretty good too. It does what it says - it takes off all the little dead flakes of skin off your lips while moisturising them with jojoba oil. My only problem is that it comes with a lot of product in the jar and I always have a hard time using them up - but hey, who would complain about too much product? It's cheap as chips and does a good job at prepping my lips for some lipbalm and maybe even a little lipstick.
Tips: This is great for prolonging the wear of your lipstick, and makes it look less clumpy - especially great for matt lipsticks or glosses. Really great before bed too, just scrub your lips and put on a lot of lip balm and wake up to ultra soft lips!
I love this lip scrub! I'd been eyeing it up for months every time I went into Lush. I finally bought the Cola one at Christmas and so regret not buying it sooner! I use it to make sure my lips aren't scaly before I put on lipsticks (Especially the really dark ones).
Tips: I always use this (followed by a lip balm) at the start of my routine so my lips have time to get hydrated before I put anything on my lips
I love this lip scrub, not only as a lifesaver for my lips, but as something to sweeten up my day! The taste is absolutely phenomenal and my lips can't thank me enough for purchasing this product. I use this scrub every day to remove dry rough patches from my lips and after every use my lips are super smooth! Follow up with a hydrating lip balm and your lips are set for the day! Or if you are using a lipstick use the scrub before applying to create a flawless base.
I can't rave enough about this product. It is so amazing and the smells so sweet. Great for dry lips and prep for lipstick. I have recommended it to so many people. I just love it can't wait to buy the other flavours.
I have this in Mint Julip and Cola. They're great little scrubs when I remember to use them. They taste/smell amazing but depending on the batch you get it might be a bit crumbly.
What better way to prepare and exfoliate your lips than coating them with sugary, candy-scented goodness? To be honest, I can’t really think of any- scrubbing your lips with a flannel or old toothbrush is nowhere near as glamorous (or delicious).
LUSH’s bubblegum lip scrub is a cute product, but a product that I consider to be a beauty ‘treat’ as opposed to an essential item. I bought this product because it was in one of their giftpacks that went half price after Christmas. I do not consider exfoliating my lips with sugar to be a staple in my beauty routine-it’s definitely one of those ‘nice-to-have’, but ‘can-live-withou’ items.
But boy, does this little gem satiate a sweet tooth. It tastes and smells like their hugely popular (LUSH were once quoted saying that if they didn’t bring out ‘Snow Fairy’ every year “there would be street riots”) limited edition ‘Snow Fairy’ shower gel.
The scrub is pink, comes in a 25g glass tub and will last you a decent amount of time. My only criticism is that this product us a little crumbly and should have more of the jojoba oil so that the sugar sticks together a bit more, because when you scoop a bit out quite a bit falls off your finger. I put mine on, and rinse off lightly, then mange (that’s the French word for eat) the rest. Or I just mange it all if I fancy it. Lips are left smooth, supple and moisturized- ready for lip balm and your lip colour.
Great for someone who gets flaky lips, or someone who loves to wear unforgiving lipcolours or textures (Retro Matte lippies anyone?).
Bottom line: This is a very sweet (!) product at a good price point. Grab one next time you’re at LUSH and in need of a treat.
Tips: If you’re in a DIY mood, the main three ingredients in this are sugar, jojoba oil and flavour.
Works very well and is a bit of a sweet treat. I have tried both Bubblegum & Santa's (I believe it is a Cherry Cola flavour). A nice sweet treat that does a great job at getting rid of dry lips.
Tips: I use each night and then apply a lip balm, keeps my lips soft.
