Lush Lip Scrub Review

This does exfoliate your lips, but I wouldn't pay for it. It's basically sugar, jojoba oil and flavouring. Don't get me wrong, it smells divine, but even though it's fairly affordable I'd give it a miss because you can achieve the same thing with sugar from your kitchen and a bit of olive oil!

I bought this lip scrub to help exfoliate and remove my dry scaly lips. However, I find the results mediocre. It was irritating my lips a bit even though it was only sugar and jojoba oil and flavouring. I did not find it sucessful in removing my dry lip skin. The taste is bearable, the smell is strong bubble gum. The product hardens too quickly and form massive sugar lumps and it is very pricey.

Bought this yesterday after reading the great reviews and it's great... Super soft lips and smells divine and taste just as good. Even bought my mum one for Xmas :)

This stuff is amazing to use before applying your fave lippy, or just if your lips are feeling a little dry. It also tastes delicious like after dinner mints :)

Went and bought this yesterday after reading all the reviews and seeing my friend had some. Wanted the cola flavour but my local Lush had sold out so bought the bubblegum flavour.

I had some dry patches on my lips which has seen lipstick not going on so smoothly. So figured this should do the trick. It works awesomely! I found I only needed a little bit, and I applied it before bed and washed it off (not a fan of the eating the practically pure sugar). Instantly found I had super smooth lips.

Super happy with this product. Really don't need to use much so the little jar should last a while by the looks of it. Money well spent I would say!

Love this new product by lush! Not only does it scrub your lips it also plumped them up thanks to the increased blood flow from the active scrubbing! Woohoo and its soo yummy too. Perfect amount of texture for the lips too it feels lovely!

Love love love this lip scrub. I was given it for a gift and then repurchased. My lips can be quite flaky sometimes so this is so great to use before doing my makeup and applying lipstick. It tastes amazing (for those who like sugar and bubblegum) and has cute packaging. However if you don't like 'messy' products or if you don't want to put sugar on your lips the I wouldn't recommend.

My first reaction to this product was exactly this "Oh My God, YUM!". The bubble gum flavour is a bright, happy pink shade (my favourite colour), and as you open the jar you get this delicious scent of raspberry bubble gum goodness which remind's me of a raspberry lemonade slushy. The texture is an amazing sugary mixture of little granules with a moisturising base. If you can't already tell with my extensive use of positive adjectives.... I am a big fan of this product! It allows you to achieve soft, baby like lips with the smallest amount of product, effort and time. You just dab a bit on you lips, and either gently scrub or rub your lips together and instantly your lips feel silky smooth. Then the best part is.. you just lick it off and IT TASTES SO GOOD! Like really, it tastes so yummy, so good that in a moment of boredom I may have accidentally over done it and then felt sick for a little bit. Over the week, everyone who has entered my front door has gotten the pleasure of trying the lip scrub and loved it. My mum, best friends, boyfriend, a Telecom sales man, my cat was the only tester who wouldn't go past a sniff and that's probably a good thing (do cat's even really have lips??)

I am super slack when it comes to exfoiliating my lips which is bad since I always wear matte lipsticks and as everyone knows they show dead skin a lot. This lip scrub works so well half the time I'm just about to put lipstick on when I remember I need to use it so it's very easy to just apply this and get my nice soft lips
