It has to be said straight up I like a matte lip. These are great. The colours are great with good pigmentation. I like the formula. The product applies smoothly and wears well. This will last through a coffee without having to re-apply. You get a Matte finish that isn't chalky or dry. This doesn't make your lips dry and flaky. These are awesome to throw into your handbag. Personally I quite like the mint scent but it may not be for everyone.

Tips: Like any lip product making sure you are exfoliated and moisturised before you apply is always a good idea.
First off - I love these!
I got three of these from Farmers - two of them in the matte and one of the lacquers. They were Buy 2 get the 3rd free which I felt was a great deal. The matte shades I purchased were 210 - Unapologetic and 220 - Showy.
I find these are very moisturising on my lips. Others have said the balms dry out their lips but it is the opposite for me. I like the texture of them and they smell minty which I also love. The mint also feels like it gives you a little bit of plump to your lips as well as often after doing my first application my lips tingle a wee bit.
They are so easy to apply, they dry fairly quickly and the formula is buttery and when you rub your lips together it feels good to me. They are very opaque, you don't need to do more than 1-2 swipes. The balms last a while on your lips, I usually will go to work and only have to reapply after eating lunch, they last while I drink a cup of tea or coffee.
The colours are gorgeous, I will repurchase and have more shades on my wishlist already!
Tips: Exfoliate your lips with the Lush Lip Scrub before hand to get rid of loose skin as this shows up being matte.
I LOVE these matte lipsticks! The colour range is incredible, I now own 3 of this range and all suit my skin and eyes. The buttery shea texture is nourishing and soft so no need for a balm underneath. The colour lasts for hours and I only need to reapply after eating a meal and its' pigmentation is amazing. The colours are so bold and dense, and people always comment on my lippy when I wear it out. I feel the pepperminty scent it has naturally plumps my lips which is always a bonus. It has cute and handy packaging that fits nicely in the handbag or evening purse, and I like that they are the the same colour on the packaging as the colour of the lippy so there's no mixing them up when you're in a rush. They are reasonably priced, average about $22 which I think is fine to pay for a product that really works and looks gorgeous and finished. The ONLY downside to this lippy is that it starts off pointed, which is perfect to give that defined cupids bow, and as it wears down it becomes rounded like a normal lippy so is harder to complete the bow.
Thought this product smelt funny and didn't like the texture on my lips. It felt like it was apply lipbaalm with a crayon. Not for me, but do love all the bright colours it comes in
I bought two of these recently in the shades 220 Showy which is a cool toned pink/coral, and 210 Unapologetic which is a cool toned brighter pink. I like the pencil/stick format, very easy to apply, although I wonder if it will be harder to ensure a crisp cupid's bow once they've worn down a bit. The tubes are matte too, which is a nice touch. They smell strongly of peppermint which I disliked because it's something that can be quite drying, and the fragrance is unnecessary to add. Both colours lasted well on my lips, through a morning of coffee drinking and snacks, only needing a reapplication after lunch. They are quite bold colours, both both are very wearable - I wore them to work and received compliments, especially on Unapologetic. The two cost me $44 at Farmers which I think is a reasonable price for a good quality product, and if you want them cheaper they often have sales.
Tips: Apply lip balm when you start putting your make up on, so that when time comes to finish off with your matte balm then your lips will be nicely moisturised.
I got this in the light orange shade, and i really like it! It has a minty kind of scent (not really sure really) and it dries matte after a couple of minutes. Its a pretty colour and i do like it, though it works best when i mix it with my Australis Colour Inject in Lick the Icing to get a neon coral colour for something adventurous. I really like them :) Definately keen for some different colours
These lip balm lip stains are awesome the formula makes them so buttery and easy to apply. I love how the packaging looks like a big crayon. There are also so many colours to choose from which makes it great for every skin tone! They last hours on end even when going out to eat or just for a day out! I already recommend to all my friends because I just love them that much.
Tips: Don't forget to exfoliate your lips or the dry patches will show where your lips are peeling.
I was lucky enough to be part of a training process with Revlon where they gifted me products and colors suited to me.
I received this gorgeous shocking pink Matte Balm and absolutely loved everything about it.
I love the convenient pen and the shape of the lip color.. It makes applying really bright bold colors a breeze without the need of a lip brush or lip pencil. The range is gorgeous there is literally a color for everyone.
It has a pleasant mint taste/tingle which gives the sensation/feeling of fresh breath and just a general wake up every time you apply.
The pigment is fantastic and one swipe is pretty opaque.. I find a couple of swipes and its bound to last.. You need to make sure however that you don't have residue of balm or anything on your lips before applying and also give yourself a decent amount of time before eating or drinking otherwise you will be reapplying more than you need to. I discovered this from trial and error. Now I make sure I allow at least half an hour for it to dry onto the lips before eating or drinking and it lasts around 4 hours before I need a touch up!
I cannot recommend these enough and will be buying more colors!
Tips: Apply this ahead of time before eating or drinking.. You will get a lovely non drying lip color that lasts!
Also ask your Revlon counter to help you find colors that suit you.. They have recently done a training process which is amazing.. They literally can find you, your perfect colors!
I was expecting big things from these in comparison to other brands similar products, but this just sunk into the line s in lips and didn't give a full coverage.
Tips: If you are looking for this type of product I would recommend the Bourjois colour boost lip crayon, this is a european brands version and is super glossy and gives a great colour -- not available in NZ, but can be found online (cheaper than these as well !!)
I absolutely love these! i love matte lip products and it stains my lips so it has atleast some colour when i am unable to reapply. They are easy to apply and have a really good smell! Would so repurchase more in different colours.
