I own four of these lipsticks in varying finishes - Matte, Crème, and Pearl. My two favourites are definitely Matte and Crème as I'm not the biggest fan of lipsticks with a pearly sheen. The formula of these run smoothly across the board - they all feel high quality, silky smooth and creamy. The colour pay off is excellent and they wear evenly. I like to wear lip liner with all my lipsticks as I feel they last longer so I'm not sure if these bleed or not but I imagine they possibly could as they are so creamy. The wear time isn't anything amazing, I get around 3 hours without eating or drinking and the colour fades evenly on my lips. The formula is nice and moisturising which is great for the Winter time as my lips are constantly chapped, even the Matte isn't overly drying which I really like. I definitely recommend these lipsticks, they are super affordable at Postie Plus and worth every cent.

I recently was gifted a Revlon super lustrous lipstick from their vintage collection, of discontinued lipsticks. I have the shade Fifth Avenue Red, which is a really classic darkish satin red lipstick. The texture is soft and smooth, which makes it feel almost lip a lip butter. I was impressed at how long it lasts, I had a coffee and lunch and there was still come colour on my lips afterwards. I think this lipstick is so good that Revlon should bring it back to the permanent collection.
Tips: Paired with a lipliner this could easily last all day.
I have been waiting for these to be added :-). I havevabout 11 of these now & they are my favourite lipsticks! I must say I love the smell of them too, lanolin I think. Anyway, the colours are great & there is a huge range of them. I find them very creamy and really nice to wear. The colour stays on for quite a long time, but I do have to reapply occasionally especially after eating! I bought heaps when Revlon had the 2 for $30 deal.
I can't even begin to tell you how many of these lipsticks I own and how great I find them! Sure, they need a few applications over the course of a day, but they come in a range of brilliant colours and finishes. My favourites are the pearly Wild Orchid (457), gorgeous nude colour Blushed (420), and Cha Cha Cherry (626), a brilliant red in a creme finish.
Tips: Use a lip primer under the lipsticks with pearl finishes to make them less iridescent!
I really like these Lipsticks, first of all Revlon lip sticks are just classics, and there's a reason for that, they are awesome, hard working lippy's! My favourite thing about them is that they are really true to what they say. The colour on the bottom is the true colour of the lipstick, the matte is really a matte, the pearl, a beautiful pearly shade. There is such a huge range of shades to suit everyone's needs and wants as well. All in all, just a great product!
Tips: Use a lip liner to keep the creamy shades on for as long as poss =)
These lipsticks are a winner, well formulated, luxurious packaging and reasonably priced. I only wish the range was more kind to my colouring - there is always a good selection of colours varying through pinks, peaches, reds and wines however Revlon has discontinued many of it's great nude shades that have been a fave of mine over the years. I wish they would bring back my faves like 'in the buff', the original shade of 'honey bare' and my fave 'skinlight'. Lovely to wear by any means however.
I have several of these lippys but chose this one specifically to review as it is my handbag favourite. It lives there and will live there forever!
This colour is a definite "my lips, but better" colour and goes with every single makeup look I have ever done. It is a pink-toned nude that is slightly on the peachy side.
The formula is great - it's soft and moisturising, does not dry up your lips or have a plasticky scent (like my Mum's old Revlon lipsticks used to!). It sits on the lips and doesn't sink into lines, or cling to dry patches. It lasts a decent amount of time, but is not a long-wearing lipstick (nor is it marketed to be so).
I love to wear this colour both by itself, or with another colour (or gloss) over top.
I love the packaging! It's classic "Revlon" with the black tube and the gold band around the middle. The top is clear so you can see the colour easily and it's labelled clearly at the bottom in the matching coloured sticker too.
I recommend this lipstick to those that want to get used to wearing lipstick as it is not a bold over the top colour, and would suit any skin colour!
I only own this lipstick in the one shade, 477 Black Cherry. I am new to wearing lipstick, and wanted a dark shade to wear in autumn/winter. I ended up with this one purely because of the colour - it's the most beautiful shade for the colder months, and exactly the deep, dark, not-quite-purple but not-quite-red kind of shade that I was looking for. Once I saw the price I was absolutely sold.
The lipstick itself applies smoothly, and I find it easy to apply nicely without a lip liner. I was worried that it would bleed without a lip liner, but surprisingly I have yet to see it happen. The formula is nice and creamy and doesn't dry out my lips, which is a huge plus since I wanted this to wear in the colder months when my lips have seen better days.
Sadly it isn't a very long lasting lipstick. After a 3 hour lecture with no eating, drinking and very little talking, the colour manages to begin disappearing all on its own. This makes me a little uncomfortable when I wear it, i'll realise i've had it on for a while and think "oh no, has it worn off in patches?" and dash to the nearest mirror. The colour is to die for though, so i'll still be wearing it all autumn/winter.
I bought this as I read online that it was a dupe for MAC's vegas volt and I didn't have the cash to dish out $40 for a MAC lipstick. The colour in the tube looked scary and bright but when applied it was love a first sight and I was really impressed with the staying power. It does tend to lean a little on the dry side, not sure if it's just this colour or if all the super lustrous colours are like this. The packaging is nice and solid and looks more expensive than what it is. Overall I'm very impressed with this lipstick and am hoping to try some more colours very soon.
I had this in the shade 'Berry Haute' which is a deep purple. I got this because I had been wanting to try a purple lipstick and this was cheap in Postie Plus.
The formula of this is really nice. It's super silky and soft and it literally glides on your lips without any tugging or pulling. The pigmentation is really good and it's easy to build up if you want to.
I didn't use a lip liner with this and I didn't have any issues with my lipstick feathering or bleeding. However, because this is so slick it doesn't last long on your lips so you will need to reapply throughout the day.
Unfortunately this colour didn't suit me whatsoever, so I gave this to a friend who does suit purple lipstick. Aside from that, this is a really good lipstick that is incredibly cheap.
