I was expecting big things from these in comparison to other brands similar products, but this just sunk into the line s in lips and didn't give a full coverage.

Tips: If you are looking for this type of product I would recommend the Bourjois colour boost lip crayon, this is a european brands version and is super glossy and gives a great colour -- not available in NZ, but can be found online (cheaper than these as well !!)
Thought this product smelt funny and didn't like the texture on my lips. It felt like it was apply lipbaalm with a crayon. Not for me, but do love all the bright colours it comes in
First up let me tell you how hard it was to pick a shade to buy while I was in the store. All the shades looked amazing, though some would not suit me and some were out of stock I still had a tough time picking one to buy & try in the end I went with 'Showy'
Showy is a gorgeous hot pink but still very wearable. The product applies nice and creamy and the colour is very pigmented. I also love the minty smell and tinglyness.
I have quite dry lips so I did find the balm to dry out my lips and start to feel weird & I found with eating and drinking it came off quite easily.
The packaging is the same as the rest of Revlon's Colourburst range a twist up crayon which is the best as no one likes to sharpen lip products to get that nice point for application.
Overall as I haven't tried many other lip products I am keen to buy a few other colours as I have heard that some colours differ in consistency/colour pay off etc.
I picked this up from local life pharmacy. I instantly get attracted to make up stands. I can’t help myself but start looking at all the make up . I like that Revlon is a brand that can be easily sourced.
I love lipsticks and I like trying different formulas . I wanted to try this out because I was interested in the texture. Typically the packaging comes in a chubby stick . I got the shade Sultry a pink matte nude tone . I love my pinky nudes for every day wear.
Application it goes on nicely . I like that this formula is bright in colour . It did transfer with eating and drinking . I found it easy to top up whenever I needed to . Did get a good four hours wear .
Overall I like the colour range . I think price wise it’s pricey . Could be cheaper for a drugstore brand . I think $10 is fair price point. I can’t see myself repurchasing this as there are cheaper alternatives.
I got one of these in a set and have been giving it a go over summer for a bit of moisture. But I must admit it’s balm effect is short lived. It really doesn’t last long on the lips.
Very much feels moisturising and creamy on the lips upon application.. like it should, but the effect is not long lasting and so I don’t think it can really claim to be that nourishing as it just wears off.
Perhaps if it stuck around a little longer I would repurchase but sadly I probably won’t. Which is such a shame as the colour is pretty, it tastes ok - not waxy and it does feel nice on the lips while it’s there so not all bad.
I do love the easy way this glides on. But there is no definition on the lips with such a wide shaped crayon. It certainly has a balmy feel. I brought a trio pack. And while I love 225 shade in pink. The red shade absolutely stained my lips for hours and I didn't like the look. Probably won't buy again.
I was super excited to hear about these and rushed off to buy three different colours, Audacious, Elusive and Striking. I have to say that they went on beautifully - easy to apply and leave an even colour. The main disappointments for me are that they feel too "balmy", and they don't really have a full matte coverage. The colours don't seem to last very long on my lips, however being that it is a crayon it is very easy to reapply. As far as cost goes, they're reasonably priced in comparison to many other lippys, and there is a huge range in colours to choose from.
Tips: Being that it is semi matte be sure to scrub your lips before application :-)
I quite like the format of lip crayons because the chubby stick packaging gives a sense of nostalgia for me. It's also handy that it twists up without needing to be sharpened. The balm applies smoothly and is quite moisturising, which is the benefit of lip crayons over liquid lipsticks, but it wasn't as velvety matte as I'd like. I think they had sacrificed some of the matteness to make it more comfortable, but that wasn't quite what I was looking for. It is affordably priced but I prefer other cheaper alternatives that have a very similar formula if not better.
Tips: Exfoliate your lips beforehand as it accentuates any lines.
I originally bought these to try as there was a sale online so I thought what the hell why not,I don’t usually use it so it lasts me ages,it feels nice on your lips and the colour definitely lasts all day I used to just put a smidge of clear lip gloss over the top as the day went on and the colour still hardly faded, would definitely buy again
I tried this product out simply because a friend was wearing it and it looked great on her. It seemed to dry my lips out alot and made them peel :( Even tho this product wasn't for me it comes in fab colours!
The application process i found was difficult, because i naturally have very dry lips, i found it didn't just glide on, it actually highlighted the cracks in my lips. In saying this not alot of the product is required to cover your lips.
It comes in a great pencil-like package with a secure slide on lid, which i think is handy for carrying in your handbag.
Personally i wouldn't buy this product again, simply because it dried my lips out more.
Tips: Maybe try putting lip balm on a few minutes before applying ??
