Pantene Moisture Renewal Shampoo Review

First off, a shampoo has to feel right when washing and after towel drying your hair and the same applies to the conditioner. My hair is normally curly and I wondered if my curls would turn to fluff but I was impressed with how soft my hair felt after trialling this product. The smell was great and as an added bonus I used the remainder from the trial size bottle of conditioner to leave in my hair. It certainly met all my expectations and that's not an easy feat.

I enjoyed using this shampoo, its a lovely creamy texture and the smell is really great. I have had a few uses from the sample and I still have some left, it's a generous size. It made my hair feel clean and soft, but it didn't calm and smooth the frizz like I was hoping it would.

I found it to be alright. i've heard that Pantene either loves or hates your hair and it has always rested on the 'hated' side for me. I would use it again, but it didn't work any wonders. Pretty standard.

I did not expect too much .. honestly! I love my Purelogy. I must say I am pleasantly surprised. The shampoo was good .. but it is the conditioner that blew me away. My hair felt soft, smooth and lovely. I have bought the full size conditioner, and have used it a couple of times already . Impressed all the way!!

I quite liked this shampoo. I have long, tangly hair which tends to be dry at the ends and have lots of split ends, as such I was quite interested in how this shampoo added moisture to my hair. While a few days is not enough to be definite about how much of a difference this shampoo made to my hair, I do feel that my hair was softer and less straw-like at the tips. I also noticed that my hair was less tangly. I liked that the fragrance was not too overpowering - as many shampoos are. All in all it was a nice shampoo to use.

This was a wonderful product. My hair feels very soft and healthy after using it, I have used Pantene shampoos before and have found that my hair tends to get greasy fast. The smell is devine and lingers between washes. My hair has stayed soft and silky even after 2 days. Also the shampoos I have used lately have made my hair very static(due to chemicals in water) and I have not had that happen with this shampoo and conditioner combo. I will be buying it for use at home.

My hair is naturally dry and frizzy. It's been damaged by colouring and heat styling. I've been using expensive salon products for a few years because my hair needs a lot of extra care. But, for a supermarket product, Pantene Pro-V was pretty impressive. Even on a rainy muggy day, which would usually cause instant boofy hair, everything stayed in place and my hair was smooth and soft. And by Day 2 my hair was still manageable and smooth. I wouldn't say that it made my hair glossy or shiny, but it's never been very glossy because it's so dry. I definitely see more benefits of using Pantene to make my hair smoot, rather than glossy. Pantene haven't done a lot with branding and packaging over the years, it's just a standard functional bottle. The smell is that classic "shampoo" smell - clean and fresh, with a fruity or flowery scent mixed in. I was surprised at how the shampoo seemed a little thicker than the conditioner, usually it's the other way around, but I normally need a good dose of conditioner so having a runnier mixture made it easy to spread through my hair. There's never going to be a miracle cure for my dry, damaged, frizzy hair. And because it needs a lot of TLC I'll probably continue buying the expensive stuff from my hairdresser. But I would definitely consider Pantene Pro-V as a back up shampoo and conditioner especially if I was short on cash.

Now I am a staunch advocate of salon Haircare products and I never buy supermarket brands, so it has been about 15 years since I have used Pantene but I'm really impressed with how much it has changed! I don't know if the claims of long term breakage protection will prove true but my hair does feel really soft, looks shiny and it smells lovely. I have put this on my shopping list!

I've been using the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo (and the conditioner) for a few days now and while it did add some moisture on its own, my hair still felt a little on the dry side until conditioning. It smelled nice and my hair was easy to brush afterwards.
