I have relatively long, thick, blonde hair (just for reference)
As far as purple shampoo's go, this one is the same as the others and probably a more affordable price point for most people as some can be ridiculously expensive.
The colour is amaaaaazing, a nice deep almost metallicy purple and the texture is quite runny but nicely lathers and spreads once you apply it to your hair. I find it didn't really have much of a smell at the time but afterwards my hair definitely had that 'hairdresser' smell to it.
As far as noticing any difference to the colour of my hair, I can't say I did, however perhaps over time this would change.
I liked it, didn't love it, and probably wouldn't repurchase but it wasn't a bad product.
Having blonde hair that these days needs to be coloured every 6 weeks i'm very familiar with the purple shampoo concept.
But could this supermarket version take on my expensive salon product?
You betcha! It toned down my brassiness and therefore the look of my regrowth nicely and I could even push out my next colour by about another two weeks.
My hair felt amazing afterwards.
A big thumbs up from me and I would 100% repurchase
