I'm going to preface this by saying that I haven't had enough time to really see a change in my hair from this product, as I've only had it for 3 days.
These products work well together to clean my hair and scalp, and have left my hair feeling nice and shiny and healthy. I haven't noticed any extra fading of my hair dye, which is great as I've found their past products really fading for my hair colour. The scent isn't overpowering which is nice as I've found previous Head and Shoulders products to have a distinct strong smell which I associate with anti-dandruff products.
I haven't really noticed any particular anti-dandruff effects but that's likely due to me washing my hair more frequently than usual for this review - my dandruff starts building up after a couple of days post-washing, and I had to wash my hair daily in order to review it, so I can't comment on that.
This was an excellent review group to be selected for - thank you Beauty Review crew! My scalp had been driving me crazy with itching, no matter which new product I tried. Unlike others, Head & Shoulders truly delivered. From the very first application, there was a noticeable soothing quality to the products, which only got better in subsequent applications, so today, there is no itch at all. My hair feels soft, and has the most gorgeous shine to it.
I really liked the packaging of the product and especially how they complemented each other when side by side. It took a couple of uses for my brain to remember that the dark blue top signified shampoo, with the conditioner's bottle opening at the bottom, but once this sunk it, it makes it easier to grab at a glance.
The fragrance is really lovely. It is subtle and fresh, but the shampoo's scent is definitely the lovelier of the two.
A really lovely product, that although it isn't the most seductive of packaging, does exactly what it promises to do.
Tips: Make sure to use this duo together. Allow yourself a minute or so to massage in the conditioner at the end to really work that magic into your scalp.
