Balancing lavender cleanser
For heavenly soft and perfectly balanced skin, take a bit of Angels on Bare Skin, mix with a little water and massage all over your face and body. The kaolin clay base deep-cleanses while finely ground almonds and lavender flowers gently exfoliate away dry skin. We add lavender oil to soothe and balance, and rose absolute to calm redness. If it’s smooth, radiant skin you’re after, this is the cleanser for you!

This is a nice, gentle cleanser with a bit of scrubby in there, and it was quite effective in cleaning my oily skin, although I didn't notice a considerable difference in controlling my oil while I was using it.
It's a little impractical to use because it's almost a clay consistency, and scooping it out of the pot in the shower can lead to wastage. I used to grab a bit out before I got in the shower and kept it on the lid of the pot before using it. This is a bit fiddly and annoying and I can imagine would be particularly problematic if you wear glasses and take them off to shower.
This didn't irritate my skin so in that sense I'd recommend it for people with sensitive skin but it didn't do anything amazing that makes me want to go back to it.
Lush! I just love how it's not the usual liquid consistency and alot of people say it gets really messy but it doesn't if you do it right. Just grab a smallish ball and wet it with a small amount of water (not to much because it can get messy otherwise) and then apply to your wet face. I never used this by itself because it doesn't completely remove all your make-up so I used Ultrabland beforehand. After washing my skin would feel nice and smooth but my acne-prone oily skin was never any better. I've tried all the other Lush face washes and so that's why I tried this one from seeing some great reviews on their website (NZ website + other countries!) I wouldn't use this again and the only thing really that was nice was the smell and how it kinda turned milkyish on your skin. Also my skin was slightly more oily using this.
Tips: Don't use to much water!
This cleanser smells amazing, the lavender is really strong and offers a scrub gentle enough to use every day. This worked really well at keeping my face clear without irritating my sensitive skin. A big plus that it's NOT tested on animals too.
Tips: Lavender is supposedly good for helping you sleep so I like to use this right before bed.
I love this cleanser because it feels really nice on my skin. The ground almonds and lavender work to gently exfoliate and it is gentle enough to be able to use everyday, so it's almost a 2 in 1 product. I have quite dry skin and after using it my skin feels soft and moisturised. It is exactly what I'm looking for in a cleanser and will definitely be buying it again.
This is super popular, it was sold out the last time I went and had to wait for them to restock. Defo must use after removing make up etc. You take a big-ish pea size ball in the palm of your hand, add two drops of water and them mix into a paste. Then you rub it onto your face and proceed to make a mess :) it does get messy so do it over the basin. This leaves my skin silky soft and fresh without feeling dry and "tight". I like how it is all natural so i feel good using this everyday. I think the "scrubbing" texture comes from the crushed almonds so its not super abrasive like some scrubs can be. Overall good scrub and it is not drying. The only thing i would mention against it is that it's not intensely cleansing (maybe try Herbalism which I think is more for people who suffer from acne)
Tips: Don't get water in the pot! Must use by date on pot which is ~ 3months.
This cleanser/exfoliate is ahhhh-mazing!! This is a great product to use if you're feeling 'dirty' or have makeup you want to scrub off your face but is very gentle at the same time. It gives the feeling of been clean afterwards and leaves you with soft skin like that of a babies bottom. One negative about it tho is that it is very very messy, so don't try and be elegant about it because it won't work :p. Bonus- It smells so good and full of natural products. I have to go buy more of this because I have sadly run out.
I love lush products but to be honest, I find this a bit fidgety and annoying to use. You have to mix it into a paste and then use it which doesn't work that well for me. I thought the almonds would exfoliate my face but I find them a bit painful if I rub on my face so I pick them out before I mix it. It does leave my face smooth and fresh feeling however which I really like
This is a wonderful cleanser which helped clear up my skin in just a few days! My skin got very dehydrated, sensitive and flakey due to the rapid weather change this year, and I needed a cleanser that was gentle on the skin yet buffed away the dry skin on my face. It feels like a dream on my skin.
I bought this about a month ago after wandering in to Lush and asking them if they had a good scrub for me. It wasn't till I got home and read the label that I found it was actually a cleanser.
I'm impressed with how this product works with my skin. The almond is a nice gentle scrub and the fragrance is lovely and fresh.
I don't use it everyday as a cleanser, instead I use it as a scrub every 3-4 days as I don't want to overwork my skin.
This leaves my skin velvety smooth and although I like the product, I'm not going to lie, I find the application a little bit of a pain. Perhaps I'm a little lazy and just want to slap something on, but getting the right consistency takes a little while otherwise it's either too dry or too wet - first world problem though.
Overall I would recommend this product as the results are great. However, I would still say it's more of a scrub than a cleanser and I would let people know about application.
