This is a wonderful cleanser which helped clear up my skin in just a few days! My skin got very dehydrated, sensitive and flakey due to the rapid weather change this year, and I needed a cleanser that was gentle on the skin yet buffed away the dry skin on my face. It feels like a dream on my skin.

My first impression of this product was - How do i use this? My overall impression is amazement. I adore this product so much it has become a staple in my regime, particularly when my skin is reacting badly to something (internal or external).
This feels super strange when you wet it, the paste is a little distracting when you first use it but the cleansing power of this product is amazing. I love how it makes my skin feel after using it, and it even removes makeup pretty darn well as well. I used it twice if I was removing makeup. It left my skin feeling so fresh, and supple most nights I didn't even need to moisturize because everything was balanced out so well. Super amazing product, and amazing for ALL Skin Types.
Tips: Best used in the shower, and the paste can get a bit messy, and the 'bits' can sometimes take a while to rinse away over the sink.
Lush is such an amazing brand and this cleanser is my new favourite! Some one described this as playdough with twigs in it.. But it is so much more than that!! The fornula is creamy and smells like lavender. Ground almond is scattered throughout the cleanser and helps to gently cleanse the face. You only need a pea sized amount of product and then you mix it together in your hands with a bit of water to create a paste. I have normal to oily skin with the occasional breakout. I use this cleanser twice a day and it leaves my skin feeling smooth and well nourished. I love how soft my skin feels and I will definitely repurchase. I reccomend this to all my friends with normal to oily skin. I'm not sure how this would work if you had problematic skin but the staff at lush are great and would be able to give the right advice x
The sales assistant at Lush told me this cleanser was their top seller. And I can definitely see why. I have combination type skin and have always had small breakouts around my nose and cheeks. Since using this cleanser both morning and night my skin has improved dramatically, I honestly don't remember the last time it was this smooth and pimple-free. This cleanser has evened out my skin tone and made it a lot more softer and supple.
I thought it would be a hassle to have to wet the product and work into a paste but since getting the hang of it I can easily wash and dry my face within a minute.
I love this facial wash. It's supposed to be a scrub sort of wash but it's gentle enough for daily use. I first discovered this when I was having quite a few pimples that weren't going away and my face skin was red. I used this and within the next few days the redness seemed to have diminished and the pimples started going away. After I knew I had to have it. It smells a bit herbal and a lot like lavender, it actually has little bits of the lavender flower in it. One of the things I like about it is how soft and smooth your face feels but also the herbal oils and glycerine in the cleanser moisturize your face in the shower so that when you come out if it takes you awhile to moisturize your body you face isn't all dry. I've used this cleanser a few days after a microdermabrasion treatment and it was nice and gentle on my skin. The only cons to this cleanser is that when you take a pinch to make a paste and then rub it on your face little bits of lavender flower get all over the sink and the other thing is the cleanser has a shelf life of three months unlike other cleansers. But other than that it's a wonderful cleanser good for all skin types and really good for those that haven't gotten into the habit of moisturizing daily as this puts a bit of moisture on the skin so it wouldn't be as dry. This is probably my favourite product from Lush so far.
Tips: When you purchase a pot of this try and get a little sample pot from the to store a bit of this cleanser in the bathroom. Store your full sized pot somewhere dry and just refill the sample pot as you need more cleanser. This saves it from getting wet because if this gets wet it's pretty much game over. So don't store it in the shower. Speaking of the shower, I like to take a little pinch of this in the shower with me to make a paste and scrub my face while I'm in the shower and then leave it on while I wash my body. Making a paste in the shower means that any little bits of lavender get rinsed away so there's no mess.
This cleansing scrub is a delight to use. At first I found the scent odd, but I quickly grew to appreciate the fact the scent was entirely natural, as a consequence of the ingredients. The star ingredient in this cleanser is almond, which provides texture to scrub your skin, but also moisturises, leaving your face feeling soft and smooth. <3
Tips: While this product is intended for your face, it is also suitable for the rest of your body, particularly if, like me, you find many body scrubs too harsh for your skin.
I have this product firstly as a sample from lush which was actually a rather big sample which was awesome because face cleansers are a bit weird with my skin when i change drastically . I love the texture and the natural ingredients in this cleanser,
I wouldn't use this as a every day face wash as it did draw out alot of my pores and acne and I broke out when i first started using this,
so I think it would be good before a face mask, smells really good though.
would love to get a full size.
A friend of mine gave me a sample of this as she knows I like exfoliating products, am a fan of Lush and struggle with redness in my skin.
This is an interesting - and slightly messy product to use. You pinch a small amount of it out of the container, put a bit of water on it and it turns into a paste. Then you apply that to your face as per a normal cleanser.
This looks a little bit like rolled oats. The scent is nice and subtle and this feels gentle even though it is an exfoliator. The clay feels really calm on your skin and I think this is a great option for those with sensitive skin.
After using it my skin felt really clean and soft. It didn't feel irritated or sore from the exfoliating particles at all.
The only thing I'm not too keen on is how you need to mix it with water. Whilst not a massive issue I did find this messy and irritating when traveling, as well as those nights where I am feeling tired and just want to go to bed. I personally prefer something I can just put on out of the tub or tube. If that doesn't bother you however, I think you should give it a go.
I got given a sample of this cleanser for my birthday, this was the first lush product I had ever tried and was quite surprised as i thought the lush shop was just all soaps and body washes. The cleanser is a thick paste with bits of lavender flowers through it and it has a really nice herb smell to it. I found it quite hard to rub onto my face but if you work in your hand with water first it's alot easier to apply. It left my face very clean and didn't dry it out so it definitely felt soft and moistured afterwards.
I got given this for Christmas and fell in love! I have always been a lush fan, their products are pure, natural and smell divine. Angels on bare skin is one of them, i loved the smell and texture of this product. It make my skin feel silky smooth after I used it, feeling really clean. It lasts for three months, in fact I finished it a few days before its expiry date. I personally have mild acne prone skin through my T zone, so when I went back for more, I chose to use Herbalism which is the same type of cleanser just different ingredients such as China clay, exfoliates with ground almonds, revives the skin with rosemary, uses nettle powder to purge dirt and chamomile to soothe the surface. So it is more for my skin type. But Angels on Bare Skin is an AMAZING cleanser and I would recommend it to anyone.
Tips: Can get a bit messy, so just take a pea size and make it into a paste with a dash of water. You will be good to go!
