Lush Blue Skies and Fluffy White Cloud Review

Blue Skies and Fluffy White Cloud Bubble Bar is a blue and white swirled bubble bar. It is the standard bubble bar size at Lush, so I cut it into 4 quarters although I could probably cut it up more.

When you crumble it into the bath water it turns the bath water slightly blue. So if you want a bubble bar that doesn't turn your water different colours this is the bubble bar for you. To match the blue skies water, the bubbles are then white fluffy clouds.

As I say in all my bubble bar reviews spa jets are the best from creating endless long lasting bubbles, but agitating the bath water does work too. However when you are cutting the bubble bar into bits, you do see less effect when agitating the water with your arms.

This bubble bar does often leave some blue or purple residue on the bath but it is easily wiped away. It also makes your bathroom smell like cinnamon for a day.

I love bubble baths! So do my children so bubble bars are a big must in my lush collection.

I purchased this bubble bar from a Facebook group unaware of the scent but everytime I saw it online it grabbed my attention. It's now one of my go to bars!

On its own this bubble bar smell really spice infused and a little earthy which I don't mind but I do prefer the sweeter scents. The water turns a babyish blue with the most amazing fluffy bubbles. It truly resembles Blue skies and Fluffy clouds :)

I like to combine this bubble bar with pink fun for a combo of earthy but sweet....actually this bar goes really well with numerous bubble bars.

Be adventurous, try it on its own or pair it with another.

All round a grat bubble bar, enjoyable for myself and for my Littles :)

Ps. This bar is quite thick so you can manage to get more than one bath from this bar!

This was a bubble bar I first received as part of a gift set, and I was beyond excited. Mostly because I had already tried the two other bubble bars from this range that were similar (Brightside and comforter) and those were two products I fell in love with, so I had high hopes for this one too.

This bubble bar comes in a reasonably flat and round circle, kind of like a doughnut but missing the hole in the middle. In the picture, this bubble bar is a vibrant blue, but I found mine to be more of a dusky bluey-purple but maybe I just got a faulty one, who knows.

This bubble bar is huge so its value for money and I can get 4 generous baths from this, maybe even more if I had to. I cut this into four pieces, and use one piece at a time by crumbling it under running water and it creates lavish bubbles, slightly tints the water to the bluey-purple colour and puts a frankincense smell into the air.

When I used this bubble bar, I literally hated the smell. I was not a fan of that slightly musky and woody smell that accompanies the frankincense scent and so I wasn’t a fan of this at all. There was something about the smell that just did not make my bath relaxing at all.

Overall, this is not one of my favourite scents from Lush even though the smell has grown on me a little. If you love the smell of frankincense which I know some of you do, this would be the perfect bubble bar for you.

I gave my wee son this for Christmas as I was getting his sister a few bits from Lush and he doesn't like to miss out.. he is 3 so of course I run his baths etc. I kind of liked the sound of lavender and patchouli when I purchased this online but once in the hand I found the scent very masculine and herb-ish/earthy and not as relaxing as lavender should be.

The bubbles are amazing with only a little bit of product needed to make mountains of foam. the colour of the water is a light navy blue and the scent... so strong it permeates through my house for hours after which is great if you enjoy the scent but it wasn't for me although my son seemed to enjoy his baths and asked for blue water and bubbles so it was a hit with him. It's was a little drying on the skin though and less is definitely more with this product... he has had well over ten baths already and probably has a few more left in the last third of the bubble bar.

I did like the appearance of the bar at first.. it was two sponge-roll type pieces of white and blue glued together with blue in a yo-yo type arrangement.

I'm a lover of the comforter bubble bar and always reached for that whenever in store over this blue version as I knew what I liked, however when I recently went to refresh my comforter reserve they no longer had any! so I grabbed a couple of these bubble bars instead as nothing beats a Lush bubble bath.

With the bar being a large size I have heard of many getting multiple uses out of it, but I am greedy and want the full bubble effect when I relax in the tub so the whole thing got crumbled under running water, instantly the pillows of white soft bubbles started to create a cloud over the water, which was turning an inky blue underneath and the scent was quite warming, a musky spice with notes of cinnamon here and there that lingers in the house well after the plug has drained the water away.

The combination of the bubble bar into the water leaves it very moisturising and reminds me of the old fashion cream baths I used to have when little that left the bath looking all silky and creamy. This in turns leaves a soft feeling to the skin once out of the bath, that lasts long after so you can skip the moisturising step afterwards if you wish.

I bought this bubble bar at Christmas with a heap of other products from Lush, so it’s been sitting around for a while. It is blue and white and swirly when I bought it, but was blue and pinkish by the time I actually used it!

I love the smell, which is exactly like smokers, the little pink lollies you used to be able to buy. It tickles my nose! And makes the bathroom smell nice. When it was sitting on my duchess waiting to be used, it also made my bedroom smell nice.

Once in the water, I find it dissolves slowly and I’ve been able to get 3 baths with it. After it dissolved a bit I took it out and put it on the plastic bag it came in, and it dried and sat on the side of the bath until next time.

It has an oily consistency once in the water, and makes my skin, and the water, very soft and bubbly and blue.

I love it, I really can’t believe how good it is, and I recommend it to others.

I got this in the legendary Boxing Day sale of 2015. It's not a scent that I would've picked out in store but let's just say....I went a little bit crazy in that sale! It's a big blue and white swirled chunk of a bubble bar and I easily got three baths out of it. I stored it in the plastic bag it arrived in, in a air tight container. It didn't soften at all and was actually quite hard once I used the last chunk. To get the most bubbles out of a bar, I crumble it into a little net and then run warm water over that.

This produced a good amount of soft fluffy bubbles that last well during my bath and left the water a soft blue colour. Scent wise it is very woody and spicy. The predominant scent is patchouli which I normally hate. I didn't find it unpleasant in this though. My nose adjusts really quickly to smells so I couldn't smell it once I was in the bath or detect it on my skin afterwards. I put body lotion on afterwards as my skin always needs its after a bubble bath.

I probably wouldn't buy this again as I prefer fruity or floral smells. If you like spicy, woody smells though, this is a great value bubble bar. It is also quite a unisex smell that men who like to bathe in bubbles would also enjoy.

The scent to this bath bomb is amazing definitely my favourite, I personally break a bit off it instead of using the whole lot, makes it last a lot longer and still smells great
