I think this came out originally 2-3 years ago but from the first use I was hooked and eagerly await the release of it to restock up.
Packaging with Lush is the same throughout as they have a stand on waste reduction, this comes without any but gets wrapped up in the Lush paper upon purchasing.
This mountain of shimmering white and bubble gum pink has not only got a cute as a button look but smells like you are on a cloud of candyfloss sugary and sweet. Crumbling this into a bath under the stream of warm water results in the water taking on a milky, slightly shimmering pink appearance whilst frothy billowing mountains of bubbles are left to create an epic shower above the water. Sink into this bath and be enveloped by its wonderfulness plus leave it with skin so soft and supple you feel like you don't even need to add moisturiser. Like you can free willingly leave this bath, I do find myself clinging onto the feeling for as long as possible by adding more hot water to re-heat the bath water.
When these are released they sell out super fast and with reason, I always purchase 6 to see me through to when they are released again as they are also briefly in store during the Mid Winter Christmas event.
Perfectly matched with their Snow Angel shower gel as this is the scent that holds the mountain together, so if you are a fan of Snow Angel and have a bath you will love this!!
A basket of these bright pink and white glistening bubble bars caught my eye on a trip to Lush. A few of these little beauties snuck their way into my shopping basket with all of their sweet, vanilla glory.
A bubble bar is a solid yet soft product that looks to be a cross between a soap and a bath bomb. You can pop the whole lot into a bath, or crumble a smaller amount in. Candy Mountain crumbles easily, so it is quick and simple to break a small amount off and leave the rest in the bag for the next bath. I would usually get 3-4 uses out of this product as I don't use a large amount in the bath. This product is designed to fragrance the bath, rather than provide hydration.
A wonderful suggestion that I received from the lady at Lush was to break small amount of this off into the washing machine. I wear a lot of black, so usually my washing machine is either filled with towels or black clothing. I continue to use washing powder but pop a small amount of the Candy Mountain in with the washing powder to leave a sweet fragrance on my clothing. I would have never thought to use it in this way but it is fabulous!
This product is perfect for those who enjoy a sweet scent, but can sometimes find them overwhelming or sickly. Because you have complete control over how much product is used, you can use a small amount to slightly sweeten a bath, without a candy overload. I now have a preference for lighter, fruitier scents so I won't be repurchasing this product, however I will repurchase something similar with a different scent.
Tips: Pop a small amount of this into your washing machine to add a sweet fragrance to your dark clothing or towels.
