I found this a bit of a letdown, I saw no blue whatever and my bath just ended up being a bright yellow, possibly mine was a dud but I was disappointed.

I was excited to give this a go as I'd heard about this being a fizzing dragons egg that released different colours but in the end, it was a bit meh for a Lush bath bomb/
The bath bomb was white in colour and quite large with orange, yellow and blue polka dots, definitely resembling a dragon's egg. It had a strong citrusy scent on the outside, which I loved.
I used the entire thing up at once in the bath. Upon chucking it in the water, a white foaming fizz emitted and a small pink dot of soap came out. The bath bomb fizzed super slowly compared to other Lush ones, it took about twenty minutes to fully disintegrate in hot water. I wasn't a fan of how slow it fizzed as I was getting a bit sick of the big bath bomb floating around. I found the dragon's egg effect quite cool as the bath bomb cracked like an egg hatching and colour spewed out of the bomb. I got an orange colour spewing out of mine that ultimately ended up making my bath water an unpleasant dirty colour. The water was scented with a really lovely strong citric scent. My skin felt softer afterwards.
Overall this was kind of cool, but didn't wow me as much as other Lush bath bombs so I'd probably give this one a miss in the future.
I was excited to try lush drangons egg it looked pretty flash this giant round bath bomb that smelt Fantastic.
We filled up the bath and put it in. Major Let down it didn't really fizz and it took for ever to dissolve. It didn't make the bath look even near what I was expecting from seeing other photos.
Our bath smelt great but it just had an orange colour and a couple of bubbles.
Really disappointed after all the good stuff I had seen
I was gifted this bomb from a wonderful friend, and, being LUSH obsessed I was excited. What wonder would behold me with this bomb? The outer white shell adorned with colourful rice paper "scales" had me intrigued and I couldn't wait to try it in the tub.
The smell is lovely, and really uplifting thanks to the lemon oil (and other delightful things) but lemon stood out for me the most. It is a slow fizzer, but as it is fizzing the scent layers itself into a bright, happy smell and its a real mood booster. Watching the bomb dissolve is always fun too, and it turns the water into a pale white with the rice paper scales scattered throughout.
As always with LUSH baths, my skin was left soft and moisturized and I was relaxed and felt a whole heap better about life. I have a feeling I got a dud, as I don't remember ever getting any orange in mine, but the smell and the scales were enough. I don't think I'd purchase this myself, though.
This does smell delicious and im totally impresssed that these are fully vegan products - animal friendly and great for the environment. However, very expensive for what they are! They smell delicious, look pretty in the bath for about a minute and then that’s it. No benefits to my skin or body at all
I got this as a gift from a lovely friend as a thank you for helping her. I had never used this bomb before but had heard so many lovely things about it so was excited to finally give it a go. For $7.90 I think it's an affordable way to pamper oneself so I would buy it again and again at that price.
The bomb itself isn't too much to oo and aahh over if I am honest. It is a dull creamy colour with dots of colour over it. It would remind me of a dragons egg if I had to describe it so Lush did well there.
Once the bomb hits the water a creamy foam rises from the bomb and settles on the top of the water. Once this clears the way you see an orangey flourish escape from the bomb mixed with glitter. It may not be the prettiest bomb they have but it definitely puts on a show. I can't say I noticed the popping candy that they say is in it although it does fizz a fair bit so that could be it?
The scent that arises is beyond heavenly. I am a citrus loving person anyway so to have this tangy goodness fill my nostrils was very welcome. It is said to help relive stress. I believe that because during my bath I felt very relaxed, like the world had just slipped away and there was nothing but tranquil goodness left.
Afterwards my skin is so smooth and soft I love it! The only downfall for me is the glitter left on the bath after letting the water out. I find washing it off straight away helps to get it off properly before it dries on. Try it you wont be disappointed.
