The Lush Fairy Dust is the one product guaranteed to make you feel like a total fairy princess after using it! This super pretty, pale pink, shimmery powder has the same scent as the Snow Fairy shower gel — think super sweet, candyfloss meets cherry. The scent is actually a bit too sickly sweet for me, but this powder is still really nice for making skin lovely and smooth, with a subtle pretty shimmer. Would definitely recommend if you're into sweet scents and want a nice body powder, or as a gift for any fairy-loving kids in your life :)

I'm a Lush newbie and was gifted a Snow Fairy box for Christmas by my hubby.
I used my Fairy Dust for the first time by sprinkling a little onto my fingers, rubbing my hands together and spreading it over my chest and arms but I think I underestimated the amount of glitter in there, as my chest and collarbone had some serious twinkle going on. I looked like I belonged as an extra on one of the "Twilight" movies. Lol!
I came out the bathroom and hubby asked "What's with the stripper glitter?", so I thanked him and told him it was the powder that HE bought me for Christmas and that provided a good chuckle and led to him calling me "Sparkles" all morning. Haha.
So, what's the best way to apply Fairy Dust? Well, the instructions say to apply a little using fingertips (and that didn't work too well for me), others choose to squeeze the plastic flip top bottle to create a Fairy Dust cloud to walk through and then there are those who multi-task with it and use it as a body powder on a powder puff, use it as a facial highlighter or even a room fragrancer (by sprinkling some on the carpet before vacuuming).
Personally, I experimented with with an old powder brush that I'd replaced and used the brush to apply a very light dusting of the pale pink powder to my body. This worked so much better than using my hands. I ended up with the wonderful, sweet scent of Fairy Dust and just a light shimmer on my décolleté, collarbone and shoulders instead of being very glittery and sparkly.
Would I buy another bottle of Fairy Dust? Probably not. Don't get me wrong, I love the smell and I love the fine powder, I'm just not a fan of that much glitter and it seems like the amount of glitter seems to vary from one batch to another. If Lush did a glitter-free version, I'd definitely consider it (but then it would't really be Fairy Dust, would it?).
Tips: Apply extremely sparingly, otherwise the glitter can be overpowering
I suffer from a lush addiction- snow fairy is also one of my favourite scent families. The smell is true to the snow fairy scent, there is a lot of glitter in this. It will cover everything you touch if you havent rubbed it in enough- and even then you can still get it on everything,.
Tips: A Little goes a long way- if you dont want to be looking like a 90's throwback, slowly build up the application. But if 90's throwback is your style, Ignore my previous statement and let your giltter flag fly with this !!
Who doesn't need a little more sparkle in their life? I sure do! This product is amazing as it is not only fun to use but smells amazing. You sparkle like a fairy and smell like Christmas, what more could you want! This bottle last forever as you do not need to use much product each time, I have collected a few and plan to keep using these forever! Fellow Snow Fairy lovers - this is the product for you!
Tips: These bottles last forever, you don't need much!
Why did I need this? Every now and then I see this product on my vanity and ask myself this question. It smells like Snow Fairy, that’s why. You can dust it onto your arms and shoulders for a sweet shimmer, or do as I do and sprinkle it onto your bedding. Makes everything smell great!
love this stuff. the original and sleepy are also good, but this one smell great for during the day. super fine, soft and very silky on the skin. i read below, i also love to sprinkle a little on sheets at night, especially on a nice fresh bed and fresh from the shower, this is great with sleepy one.
I use this in the summer to powder any 'sweat areas' and it does the trick quite well. It's not my very favourite scent (it's quite candy-ish) but I don't mind it and it doesn't seem to linger long.
This one does have a bit of sparkle in it - again not my preference but it's not super sparkle or anything.
While I do like it to keep dry, it can be a bit drying in areas.
Would I buy again? Not if there was another option (Silky Underwear I'm looking at you ;))
Tips: Bottle will seriously last you forever, even if you use it every day like I do in summer!
I got this in a snow fairy pack I bought from lush because that was all that was available, with snow fairy products selling out fast. First of all the scent is amazing!!!! I'm on love with the snow fairy scent. So it's already a winner. The powder leaves your skin scented beautifully and also so glittery which is great for certain special occasions when you just want to sparkle. I think this would make such an awesome gift for a tween or teen.
I love this product I'm not into my glitter anymore since I'm an old but this I'll adjust my preference for. I basically use this like a talcum powder all over my entire body and it doesn't give any irritation the scent is delicious & lasts all day when layer it with the sheet gel & conditioner its complementary. The soft speckles of glitter give you a fairy presence & my inner youth speaks of my desire for fairies. I wish I knew about thsi when I had my 21st since it was a fairy birthday party. Love SF hands down
