Lush Lip Scrub Review

I am a known fan of LUSH products and I can easly say this yummy lip scrub leaves my lips feeling smooth and plump, especially during the cooler months. Reasonably priced and smells scrumptious!

I have the bubblegum lip scrub which is very delicious smelling and tastes pretty good too. It is a bright pink sugar scrub and is essentially made up of castor sugar, bubblegum flavouring and pink food colouring (so it is harmless to eat but not of any nutritional value). Nut I love that it is ediable unlike most lip products we ingest.

As a lip scrub I didn't find it the best. I found that skin started flaking off my lips after using it which made them look worse than they did prior to using the scrub.

I also loved the eco-friendly packaging of the scrub. I'm definitely more likely to buy a product if it has eco-friendly packaging.

All in all an interesting experience.

This lip scrub is phenomenal. Admittedly I do swear by all things Lush, and they've done it again. The flavours of this lip scrub are delicious and refreshing, especially the bubblegum and the mint julip. The scrub leaves you feeling refreshed and smooth. Hardest thing is trying not to eat it all!

I was in lush a couple of weeks before Christmas buying some presents when I spotted this item. First thought was "$12? No thanks I would rather make it at home for nearly nothing" but after 20 minutes of wondering around lush and after I got all the items I was there to get, I found myself back by this lip scrub with $15 to spare. But this time I thought maybe it's super amazing if it's that price and I ended up buying myself a little Christmas present.

I usually use a lip scrub before I go to bed and then I got to sleep and apply lip balm when I wakeup. I woke up the next morning after using this lush lipscrub and my lips felt like they didn't need any lipbalm!! They were softer than ever!! I spent the day without lipbalm and repeated the same thing that night.

I must say I was surprised by how much this worked!! No other lipscrub has lift my lips so soft!! (they usually leave my lips irritated unless I apply lipbalm) but I didn't even need lipbalm with this lip scrub!!!

I now use lipbalm again for extra care but I'm sure I can go all summer without any lip balm with this lip scrub.

This doesn't run out fast (if you use it 1/2 times a day) and it will probably last me 2-3 months.

So was it worth the price? I would say so

For my xmas present my partner spoiled me by getting a sugar sugar gift box. In it is this Bubblegum lipscrub. This has been on my wish list for over a year and finally my dreams came true. I have never tried store brought scrubs before. I have made home made scrubs with sugar lemon juice and food colouring in the past. I wanted to give this a try because there was many reviews about this scrub on Beauty Review. I had to see for myself what the hype is with this product.

This scrub comes in a clear jar. The labbeling on the lid has the ingredients as well as the Lush Bubblegum scrub branding. The quality of this packaging is so nice compared to clear plastic jars as those are prone to cracking if dropped or being thrown. The texture of this scrub is like grainy sugar. I wasn't expecting it to be that messy. The scent smells like original bubblegum. Its not to overpowering and it tastes just like it too.

My first attempt trying this , I scooped out a bit with my finger. It fell staight onto my counter top. Second try two fingers and gently scrubbed over my dry cracked lips. Immediately I could feel all my dead dry skin coming off my lips.

After I did that I noticed that my lips were cleaner. Hydrated. My lips felt a little bit sensitive. I could feel my lips were slightly plump from the exfoliation of the sugar. After this I gently apply some Bossy lip butter to my lips for hydration.

I think I was expecting this formula to be like a paste. I was surprised at how loose it was and made a mess.I really enjoyed the flavour of this. Its brilliant A+. I probably wouldn't buy it again. I want to find something that I can use without worrying about wastage.

i am obsess for lush product. i was in the store looking for lip balm.that time i saw bubblegum lip scrub and could stop myself not to bought it. but i did. when i used it at home first of all i really like the bubblegum taste. its yummy and messy everywhere(i should use it in shower). after use my lips feel smooth and great. comes in nice small jar which is i like it.good product. but then after i thought its just flavour and sugar.i wouldn't purchase it again. i'll make my own sugar and honey how about this on.

While I love the non-messiness of Elf's lip exfoliator, at the end of the day I'm too lazy to wipe off the scrub. And so instead of continuing to eat the bits of scrub on my lips, I ended up going for Lush because I could lick it off after wards. I bought this lip scrub in the Boxing Day sales the year before last and I've been using this nightly for about a year. I still have a little under half a jar left. This scrub tastes like mint flavored sugar and leaves my lips with a light, pleasant minty tingle. My lips are soft and smooth and this year I've barely had a problem with flakey skin on my lips. This has been good for prepping my lips for lip stains, lipstick, liquid lippy or just for lip balm before bed. While it doesn't scrub off lipstains if you have been wearing one all day it does do the basic light scrub maintenance and lippy prep. I would definitely repurchase this when my pot runs out. I like that while I wouldn't consume this in large doses it is designed to lick off your lips so it's made with natural and edible ingredients.

For me, lip exfoliation is not an essential, but I own the Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub and I love it! It tastes and smells delicious and leaves my lips soft and smooth, and I use it all the time. I'd reccomend buying it if you can get a good deal or want a little pick me up.

I absolutely adore this product. It does everything it says and more! I use the mint julips flavour and it works a charm! Removes dry skin instantly and tastes incredible!
