This stuff is grainy in a good way. It really gets the flakes off your lips and conditions them. It also smells quite lovely. I do find it a bit pricey considering you could mix sugar w/ lip balm or vaseline and make your own. Rosebud salve would work with sugar too. However, this does smell good and taste like bubblegum and I love bubblegum. So, I'd say this is a bit better. You only need a dab. a little goes a long way. This should last you a long time.

Tips: Scrub for a good minute or 2. I tissue off and then apply another balm but you really don't have too. Sometimes, I apply a lip plumper after for really full moisturized lips.
i got the bubblegum flavour. It comes in a small container, very handy foe slipping in your handbag. You need to dip your finger in the product and then rub over your lips. It has a very sweet sugary flavour, very pleasant and a lovely shade of punk. I pursed my lips together and then rubbed it over my lips from side to side, wiping off the residual sugar. Its a wee bit messy but works. Leaves my lips really smooth, and the taste is not bad.
Never thought I needed this product until I fell in love with it after a gift! Follow up with a balm and my lips are plump smooth even and just feel good :))
Tips: Avoid skin contact - may feel sticky (sugar)
I brought this a while ago, as I have been looking for a natural lip scrub to exfoliate my lips when they are try. I love the smell of this! Almost good enough to eat. It did as it said, and made my kisses 'sweet'. My lips felt smooth and my lipstick looked good after I scrubbed it on my lips. It is a good price of $12.50, and I would buy again :)
I really loved this when I was younger but now i find the flavour over powering, it's a good exfoliate for your lips and removes the dry and dead skin from your lips really well.
Tips: apply a little bit
I often have very dry lips so I like to use a lip scrub everyday to help get rid of the dry skin. I decided to give the Lush lip scrub a go because I cannot buy the one I usually use locally, but the Lush one I can. I chose the Mint Julips scent (you are allowed to smell the testers in the store) because I love mint flavoured things and it smelt good.
The lip scrub comes in a cute glass jar with a black lid which holds 25g. On the bottom is a sticker that says who made it and when it expires.
You can apply the scrub by dipping your finger into the pot and rubbing it onto your lips. Because the scrub is made from natural ingredients you can eat it after you have rubbed it on your lips!
I found it easy to apply, and easy to wash off. Because the scrub is essentially sugar and oil, the crystals are a bit more abrasive than the lip scrubs I am used to, which have the scrubbing particles more spread out in the product. But it still seems to do the job fine. The mint tastes nice and is not too sweet like some other lip scrub flavours.
Tips: Apply it while in the shower - then it is easy to wash away.
I have three of these lip scrubs and they are great. They all smell and taste really nice. It comes in a little jar and you can eat the product after use. The lip scrub works really well and I would recommend it to others.
Tips: Make sure to moisturise after and the scrubbing can leave lips dry.
Great to use before putting on lipstick to get rid of the dry bits. But its hard not to lick it all of while doing your make up. I don't know if there are different flavours but I must try them!
Winter always take its toll on my hands and lips. The dryness in the air leaves me with sore chapped lips that need some tlc.
I have been using this for a while now and it works a treat. I do find it hit and miss with the flavours some I haven't been too fond of but the bubblegum doesn't disappoint. Apart from that it's a really nice scrub.
I use at night generally before a shower. I have a small brush that I put some on and scrub my lips with it. Instantly they feel smoother.
I don't have to use too often so it does last a while. My lips need the help they suffer so this has been a bit of a life saver.
You do have to work quickly as easily dissolved if licked off.
I have found inconsistency between flavours or batches some seem quite gritty and some less gritty but still works a treat. For the price it lasts a while so I can't complain.
I always follow up with a nice coat of balm or moisturiser. I find I have smooth pain free lips the following morning so it's pretty quick to help my lips renew the skin and heal.
The Lush bubblegum is like an exfoliator for your lips. While lip balms are good, this product actually removes flaky skin and makes your lips feel really soft. It comes in a small container but you get a lot of use out of it considering you don't need to use much. It's not a messy or sticky substance even though it's main ingredient of sugar. It smells like bubblegum obviously but it isn't sickly. And it's safe to lick the excess off your lips. Yum!
Tips: Use befor applying lipstick to prevent flakiness. If you are wearing a matte liquid lipstick, wait a few minutes before applying or the oil from the scrub will make it not last as long.
