Lush Lip Scrub Review

This product effectively removes any dead skin on your lips leaving them smooth and soft. It is also edible and tastes amazing which of course is a major bonus! Because who doesn't like a little sugary bubblegum flavour! Highly recommend this product as I use it at least once every week to get addictive satin soft lips.

The girl at Lush told me she actually eats hers......I wouldn't quite go that far but it sure does smell delicious.

Very easy to use. Only need a small amount. I just scrub my lips with it for about a minute and rinse off. My lips afterwards feel so smooth a amazing.

I finish it off with a really nice lipbalm. Usually do it at night time before bed.

I got given this as a gift and wasn't sure about it, but I use it every morning in the shower and it keeps my lips so soft and removes any dry skin! Plus it tastes really nice and has nothing yucky in it!

I am such a sucker for a lip scrub, especially one that is good enough to eat! So sweet, so tasty, so nourishing and exfoliating. I bought one for myself and loved it do much that I then bought a few more as gifts! Lush do such great, honest products and this one is definitely a new fav!

I adore Lush products, and this one is no exception. My favourite scent so far is the Mint Juleps (mint chocolate anyone?!!). It really works well at treating your dry chapped lips in general, and for prepping your lips for cosmetics. I have a pot that I use on my clients (with a spatula of course) and they love it too!

You can make your own sugar scrubs of course, but I will continue to repurchase this as it does such a great job and there are so many different scents to try. The jars have so much product in, you really don't use much each time.

While I love the non-messiness of Elf's lip exfoliator, at the end of the day I'm too lazy to wipe off the scrub. And so instead of continuing to eat the bits of scrub on my lips, I ended up going for Lush because I could lick it off after wards. I bought this lip scrub in the Boxing Day sales the year before last and I've been using this nightly for about a year. I still have a little under half a jar left. This scrub tastes like mint flavored sugar and leaves my lips with a light, pleasant minty tingle. My lips are soft and smooth and this year I've barely had a problem with flakey skin on my lips. This has been good for prepping my lips for lip stains, lipstick, liquid lippy or just for lip balm before bed. While it doesn't scrub off lipstains if you have been wearing one all day it does do the basic light scrub maintenance and lippy prep. I would definitely repurchase this when my pot runs out. I like that while I wouldn't consume this in large doses it is designed to lick off your lips so it's made with natural and edible ingredients.

I absolutely adore this product. It does everything it says and more! I use the mint julips flavour and it works a charm! Removes dry skin instantly and tastes incredible!
