Lush Lip Scrub Review

I think this stuff is great! I've tried the bubble-gum one and found that it's really good to use before applying your lip gloss/lip stick. And it tastes SO good!

This was the second Lush lip item I've used and it will definitely be the last.

I'm not sure what the other flavours are like but I found the Popcorn one to be totally off-putting and 'chemically' tasting. It certainly wasn't something you would want to lick off and in fact I had to scrub my teeth each time I used it to get rid of the taste.

It sort-of worked to smooth my lips but not as successfully (or cheaply) as just using a damp face flannel which was my old routine.

There are definitely cheaper alternatives and I would look at making my own version at home in future.

I wasn't really sure what to expect with this. And I have come to the conclusion it's ok... I got the popcorn flavoured one... I don't particularly like it. It tastes strange, salty and sweet at the same time with a chemically enhanced popcorn flavour

Flavour aside the scrub itself is good, but can hurt if you rub it to vigorously. But it does a good job exfoliating the lips and I like the tingly feeling it leaves. Definitely finish with a decent slick of balm or gloss afterwards

I purchased this on trademe a few months ago, I was looking for snow fairy shower gel and someone was selling it with this so I thought, yay what a great new product to try as I'd never tried a lip scrub before. It smells gorgeous, very sweet and it is a nice bright pink and I love anything pink so it won me there. It is a little messy to apply, I dab my finger in and always end up dropping a bit on the floor. I then gently rub over my lips (note the word gently! the first time I used it, I went way overboard and it hurt my lips!). After scrubbing you can either lick it off (It tastes good) or wipe it off. It does give my lips a nice smooth surface. Perfect I think if you are wanting to wear a very bright lipstick. I also apply lip balm straight away. Overall, I think it's a cute little product but it is messy so for that reason I probably wouldn't go out and buy it again specifically. I have another lip exfoliator in a lipstick form and it is much more user friendly.

This lip scrub is by far my favourite lip product of all time! I love how easily it gets the dead skin cells of your lips and then once you're done you can just lick the remaining product off. You need to use barely any product to achieve good results so I can see my wee pot lasting me a very long time!

Absolutely LOVE this product. I am never without it and always have it on hand. It smells good, and tastes even better!

the reason i love this product is because it does help with chapped lips like mine. also It's in a really cute little pot, smells and tastes delicious, and really does leave your lips nice and soft after use, For me its essential,and definitely an amazing product to have, and does make lipstick application easier. I use it in the morning before applying lipstick or lip balm, and before I go to bed.

This was my first ever Lush product! After hearing so many people raving about it, i thought it was about time i gave it a try as well! It's very sugary and the bubblegum flavor tastes more like candy floss. I find that it can be very messy so you only need a little bit at a time. It does do a good job with making your lips smooth and taking away the dead skin on your lips so it's easier to apply lipstick but i feel like this product is over rated and you could make it at home instead of paying $12 . In saying that if i couldn't be bothered making it at home my self or find another lip scrub , i would probably buy it again :)

This is so addictive!! Whenever I buy this I always end up eating it because its so yummy!! I don't particularly like the Popcorn flavor, but everyone else is delicious! It makes my lips feel really hydrated and nice.
