Lush Lip Scrub Review

Lush claims that this product will remove rough skin and keep your lips feeling soft. This does just that and tastes yum with castor sugar and vegan bubblegum flavouring. I did find that I needed to follow with a lip balm.

This refreshing and tasty lip scrub is sugarlicous! It makes your lips feel soft and removes both dead skin and the remnants of those unremovable lipsticks, you know the ones, last all day but are hard to get off at night! Best part is they tase delicious too as the base is sugar! How can you top that!

I found this scrub incredibly dry (i realise it's a scrub and mean't to be like this, but I mean SUPER DRY), and I'm not sure if I just got a bad pot or if all the pots are like that. It's messy to use, and difficult to get out of the jar. It tastes nice, but that's hardly the point haha.

I wear lippy at least 5 days a week and especially after wearing a matte one my lips need a bit of love. I recently got my hands on this after wanting to try this for what seemed like forever. I got this in bubblegum flavour (I say flavour because when I'm done I lick it off) and it does a fantastic job. I just run my finger along the top to pick up a little bit of product (you really don't need much at all) and then rub it onto my lips. I rub my lips together too and try and get every little nook and cranny. Once I'm done I lick it off and voila perfect lips. This is now a staple product in my beauty regime I'm just sad I didn't start using it months ago!

I'm a big lush fan so naturally I was really excited to try the lip scrub! I was impressed with it at first because it made my lips feel much softer and smoother. The more I used this the more I fell in love with it! It's great after a week of wearing lipstick or after a big night out!

I recently purchased this again from a Lush store for $12.50 in the flavour/scent Mint Julep. I would really advise going to a store if you haven't used Lush products before. The staff are always incredibly helpful and are more than happy to wander around the store with you to give you advice on what you might like best.

This comes in a small glass pot with a black plastic lid. It is great that it has on the side a wee sticker of who made it when, and also when it will expire. I have always found that I always seem to have a LOT of product left when it expires, but I usually through it out on time anyway as this is an edible product made out of sugar.

I find the product itself works really well. You put a bit of this on your finger and rub into your lips and then lick or wipe off. It is great at getting any rough bits off your lips. It also leaves a bit of an oily (not in a bad way) residue which feels very moisturising. I love the taste of this one myself as it is minty but not in a toothpaste sort of way.

I have had this product a few times before and really see this as an 'extra'. This is not a must have for me, but it certainly is something that is nice to have. It is also good to note that you can make something like this yourself at home if you wanted to.

This is fast becoming my go to lip scrub! For starters the brand Lush itself is so desirable to me, their moral values and their amazing products, need I say more? I am a big fan of the store and have recently got a lot of birthday gifts from there and this was one of them.This lip scrub is easy to use and smells so good! Being a sugar scrub its really sweet and quite coarse. I had this is the flavour bubblegum and loved it, made me feel like a kid again when all of the cool body washes were that scent ! I wear a lot of lip sticks and tend to get really dry and cracked lips and this was just the thing ! It managed to buff away all of the dead skin from the area without leaving my lips feeling raw as some other methods do. Absolutely love it I imagine that this is going to be in a few of my friends stockings this christmas at this price its a little something extra that a wide array of people would like. If you haven't already been into the lush stores you really need to get in there the staff are amazing and so helpful; plus my favourite bit it theres the name of the person that made your product on the side of the jar. how sweet!

I got this in the bubblegum flavour after hearing nothing but good things about it. I wear lipstick at least five times a week and live on a windy coastal property so my lips crack and lack moisture all the time.....enter Lush bubblegum lip scrub! Oh the exquisite feeling of smooth moist lips afterward was heavenly and you played on my weaknesses hehe well played! Lip product tick, yummy smell tick and I can eat it!!!! All perfect combination and in such a cute lil pot.

This product does a good job at exfoliating your lips - a little goes a long way, and your lips definitely feel much smoother after using it.

I bought this in the Popcorn flavour, and have to say I'm not a fan of this particular flavour (it's waaaay too salty for my liking). Everyone seems to love the Bubblegum version, so I think I'll give that a whirl next time.

I searched for a product that could replace my silly at home lip scrubs that usually tasted like crap, and I found my holy grail at Lush. Not only did it smell great AND taste great, but it was relatively affordable AND it didn't hurt any animals in the making ~BONUS!~ I really love this product. If you use it with a moisturizing lip balm afterwards, your lips feel softer than a baby's bum! Love <3
