Lush Lip Scrub Review

I usually apply this scrub when I'm in the shower in between washing my face, It should be part of your bathroom routine when cleansing as it gets rid of all the dead skin cells on your lips and tastes and smells pretty damn good! I tried the bubblegum one, yum.

I love this product it works so well especially for someone like me because I get really dry lips and this gets off all the flaky unwanted bit so when you apply you lipsticks etc it is nice and smooth and it also tastes yummy, bonus!

I was given this by a friend as it's not normally the sort of product that I would try and was reasonably impressed. The container is pretty cute and easy to open and the actual product is easy to use and does the job, leaving lips feeling soft and smooth. The taste and smell are also rather lovely.

I do think that this is a bit of a 'gimmicky' product though and you could just rub a bit of your usual facial exfoliant onto your lips rather than use a whole separate product, but that could just be me. I wouldn't repurchase this but would use if I was given the chance.

I really enjoy this product. I'm a lipstick lover, so keeping my lips exfoliated is a must. While you can exfoliate using other everyday products, there is something about have the luxury of a special product to do this - especially something choc/mint flavoured!! I find that the product works well, tastes good and importantly, removed dry skin. The true test is to apply a bright matte red lippie afterwards (like Mac Riri Woo or So Chaud)- and this passes the test with flying colours. Oh, and it's inexpensive too, what's not to love?

My lips got really flaky last year so I bought the Mint Julip. It was so yummy and fresh and did remove dead cells on my lips. It was effective and all that but I wouldn't buy it again unless they make it in a smaller pot with more affordable price as you won't be able to use the whole pot within the expiry date

love love love this product recently purchased this off the lush website and it is amazing now that its winter my lips are dry and rough and this scrub is amazing at smoothing your lips out and making them soft plus it taste really good as well. Would defiantly purchase it again.

I loved this scrub, first time i tried it was when a friends was using it and asked if i wanted some, so i did try it and i loved the taste and how my lips felt afterwards so i went and brought some! Although it is a simple sugar scrub its nice because of the flavours and jojoba oil.

Been wearing some ultra drying lippies? You need this product, soft oils and gritty sugar will leave your lips smooth as. An exfoliant for your lips that you will not be able to resist licking. Luckily it's perfectly edible, enjoy.

this was the first every lush product i have purchased. now i admit i wasn't sure if i should spend $12 on a tiny pot of sugar. But after trying it i don't regret it and cant wait to try the popcorn flavor. the little pot last forever!!! and the taste is great at first, but i did find that if i got too much in my mouth it tasted like oil ( which didn't taste nice) I do believe it does what it says it does although around my lips get a little red after use ( this does disappear though so very miner con)

overall im very impressed with the product.

I looove the smells of these lip scrubs. I have purchased 3 different ones so far to test them out, but I can't say I love the taste as much as I love the scents. The only one I have enjoyed taste wise so far is the bubblegum one. I have also purchased the popcorn one, which I really don't like the taste of and also the santa one which is limited edition at christmas time, which I also wasn't too fond of taste wise. They do exactly what they say though, they exfoliate really well and leave my lips feeling super soft. I just find it a little messy to apply though, I don't know if its just me or not, but I feel like I drop the sugar every where! Especially since I don't like the taste of some of them, I don't like to lick it off, so just wipe it off with a wipe or cotton pad. Over all, I think they are a great product if you like the taste! I will definitely be taste testing before I buy another flavour! The best thing about this product is a little goes a long way, so you will get to keep the product for a long time which is great value for money! Packaging is small and easy to store and carry in a handbag if need be too :D
