Lush Lip Scrub Review

I think that this product is a good idea and it really softens my lips and I do love how it leave my lips feeling! I can never stop licking my lips because they feel so amazing afterwards but the taste is just so so sweet which is a major put off for me! (I have the pink bubblegum flavour). I am going to have to try other flavours as this one isn't my style although I love what this product does to my lips. It makes lipstick go on nicer and not so dry and cracked looking aswell!

I bought a tub of this in the flavour of Mint Julep in Lush's Boxing Day Sale. I'd heard so many good things about it I was dying to give it a go, and I'm glad I did, because it's rather lovely... or should that be Lushly?

It comes in a sturdy little glass pottle with a plastic top, and the product is packed in. I used my finger to dig into it (after cleansing my face at night, so presumably my fingers were clean, haha), and the scrub went all over my bathroom sink - not ideal, especially as it's not exactly a cheap product to buy, considering the amount you get for the price.

But enough of the negatives - this product smells delicious, all minty and sweet. Once on my finger I smoosh it backwards and forwards on my lips until they feel silky smooth, which takes 30 seconds, maybe less. And then I lick it off my lips and swallow the sweetness down. I don't know if this is ideal, but it's so yummy I can't stop myself. The morning after my lips still feel smooth, and primed for a bit of lippy.

So would I buy it again? On special, yes. Not on special, probably not. For me it's more of a luxury product - what I'm more likely to do is make my own vanilla sugar lip scrub and reuse the pot.

I picked this up after seeing a lot of rave reviews for it so I had to try it for myself and see what all the fuss was about!

It comes in a cute little glass jar with a black lid. What I do love about Lush products is they usually have the sticker on it that tells you who made it. I find this a very personal touch as you can see exactly who/where it is coming from.

The product itself is pink, it's essentially pink flavoured sugar with nice things added to make your lips gorgeous and smooth. I wasn't disappointed. It did what it said it would do. I find it works a bit better if you dampen your lips then put the lip scrub on and use your lips to buff it in by rubbing them together gently. Then just wash or lick it off. Then you get this relief of having gorgeously smooth lips! My fave part is putting on lip balm straight after onto smooth lips. I do this almost everyday to keep lips in tip top shape.

I would repurchase as it smells/tastes amazing and does exactly what it says. It is an essential in my routine!

I was gifted Lush Lip Scrub from a friend and I love it. I love the way it makes my lips soft and the scent is great too! However whilst it is not unpleasant to get in your mouth I don't really like it and so always wash it off!

originally i purchased this to use on a daily basis, sure it made a small difference but to notice a real difference i found using it after being sick when my lips were actually dry and flaky was amazing. it helped to remove all the dead skin and prepped my lips for lip balm.

I purchased a Christmas gift box - as a treat for my self and it came with 'Santa's Lip scrub' the smell of the product was the first thing i noticed the sweet cola aroma instantly imploded the bathroom. The lip scrub itself was a gorgeous bright red with little heart decorations scattered among it! i have to say i really enjoyed the product. it does exactly what you expect it to do - it exfoliates and softens your lips. i loved it and a bonus is that it lasts for ages, for such a small pot.

I brought this Lush lip scrub in bubblegum it smells and taste great. I get really dry cracked lips and I found this work well to remove any dry rough patches especially during the Winter months. I use this product twice a day (morning and night) and have noticed a real difference in the condition of my lips, which are definitely softer!

I do love using the bubblegum lip scrub from time to time to give my lips a treat! It removes excess dead skin and allows you to have a spot of fun while doing so. Unfortunately it can be a little messy, but that doesn't make it not worthwhile. I love how you can lick the scrub off afterwards and I always feel tempted to just eat it! It is a little pricey however, and definitely not a regular product for me to use routinely and keep splurging on, however I've been given two on separate occasions as gifts and am happy to oblige by using them well :)

I am a known fan of LUSH products and I can easly say this yummy lip scrub leaves my lips feeling smooth and plump, especially during the cooler months. Reasonably priced and smells scrumptious!

For my xmas present my partner spoiled me by getting a sugar sugar gift box. In it is this Bubblegum lipscrub. This has been on my wish list for over a year and finally my dreams came true. I have never tried store brought scrubs before. I have made home made scrubs with sugar lemon juice and food colouring in the past. I wanted to give this a try because there was many reviews about this scrub on Beauty Review. I had to see for myself what the hype is with this product.

This scrub comes in a clear jar. The labbeling on the lid has the ingredients as well as the Lush Bubblegum scrub branding. The quality of this packaging is so nice compared to clear plastic jars as those are prone to cracking if dropped or being thrown. The texture of this scrub is like grainy sugar. I wasn't expecting it to be that messy. The scent smells like original bubblegum. Its not to overpowering and it tastes just like it too.

My first attempt trying this , I scooped out a bit with my finger. It fell staight onto my counter top. Second try two fingers and gently scrubbed over my dry cracked lips. Immediately I could feel all my dead dry skin coming off my lips.

After I did that I noticed that my lips were cleaner. Hydrated. My lips felt a little bit sensitive. I could feel my lips were slightly plump from the exfoliation of the sugar. After this I gently apply some Bossy lip butter to my lips for hydration.

I think I was expecting this formula to be like a paste. I was surprised at how loose it was and made a mess.I really enjoyed the flavour of this. Its brilliant A+. I probably wouldn't buy it again. I want to find something that I can use without worrying about wastage.
