Lush Lip Scrub Review

Love love love this lip scrub. I was given it for a gift and then repurchased. My lips can be quite flaky sometimes so this is so great to use before doing my makeup and applying lipstick. It tastes amazing (for those who like sugar and bubblegum) and has cute packaging. However if you don't like 'messy' products or if you don't want to put sugar on your lips the I wouldn't recommend.

After looking everywhere for a lip scrub, I came across this lovely pot in Lush! I couldn't warrant spending a whole lot of money on an item like this so I was happy that it was affordable and the products are all natural! The sugar completely does what it should - buffs each and every last piece of dry skin away while the oils hydrate and soften your lips.

Love this product soo much! I have quite dry lips and it helped so much, it is delicious, i;m about to run out, so am making a special trip to get more, I cannot wait! I especially live that you can just lick it off! Delicious x

This is a really girly product...so I love it. Its pink, and sugary sweet, both in taste and scent.

It smells ...'happy' - bright, cheerful, sweet and delicious.

The sugar scrub can be messy to use, so do so over the sink, but really does scrub and buff your lips into smooth, tingly, sexy canvases for lippy.

It can be harsh on sunburned/chapped lips, so steer clear if the burn is fresh.

You'll want to eat this straight off your own face (and you can, it's natural!) it's so yummy :)

I think this product receives too much hype for what it does. Its not a miracle worker and its an okay lip scrub. The pot holds quite a bit of product which is good, it tastes nice also but as for the lip scrubbing, i don't think it leaves your lips fresh, smooth, no dead skins etc. It doesn't get rid of all the dead skin. It can be a bit messy and would get all over around your mouth.

I rushed out to purchase this as I really needed on and in particular this one looked great. The product does exactly what it says it will by removing all the nasty skin and leaving your lips soft and smooth before lipstick application, the perfect formula is brought down by its taste and smell, I own the bubble-gum one and find it far too sweet. Although I love the product and would probably repurchase but in a different flavour.

Im not a huge fan of LUSH products because of their overseas business practices but this was gifted to me. I really liked it, it exfoliated my lips nicely, left them feeling beautifully soft and flake free but I HATED the bubblegum scent. Im 27 not 7! I always used it in the shower and no complaints other than the scent

I suffer from extremely dry lips that always peel no matter what, so I tried the chocolate flavoured lush lip scrub and it worked perfectly my lips had never been this smooth, I use it about once a week especially in winter and put lip balm on as soon as I wash the scrub off. It definitely helps with smoother lipstick application, my lips are usually flaky and I couldn't even wear lipstick, so this scrub has helped me alot, would definitely recommend plus its very affordable, my pot has lasted me months!

This product works amazingly well! I own the Mint lip scrub and it smells heavenly and feels amazing. I can say with 100% certainty that it is the best lip scrub I have come across.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the taste - but i'm putting that down to the fact that I hate the taste and feel of straight sugar. Other than that, the product was a little messy to use, but well worth the hassle.

If you're looking to avoid your lippy attaching to the dry skin on your lips or you just want your lips to be smoother than a babies bottom then this is for you.

I know you can easily make this product at home but tbh I would much rather buy it. I have it in mint julips and it smells so yummy. It scrubs my lips but its nice and gentle so its not to harsh. Overall its a really nice product I like to keep under a lamp so that the product doesn't separate.
