I was very lucky to be sent this for free in a rather large order I placed recently, lucky because I discovered I didn't like the scent much and I am glad I hadn't paid for it myself.
The bottle is the standard Lush shower gel bottle with flip top cap, the shower gel actually settles in the bottle leaving a creamy portion on the uppermost part of the bottle as as you'd imagine you need to shake the bottle prior to use.
Once mixed the golden amber liquid becomes more opaque and it's actually quite runny (be warned as it will get away from you easily).
The scent reminds me of the Mens body spray Lynx... I don't mind it on others but not one I would pick out for myself (personally I found it a masculine scent and I prefer sweeter notes).
It lathers okay and feels clean after yet moisturized at the same time (not greasy as I had imagined for some reason).
This has to be my least favourite Lush product I’ve ever tried which is unusual as I absolutely adore the scents Lush put in their products.
It’s a lovely feeling body wash on the skin. I just apply from the palm of my hand and it smooths over my whole body beautifully leaving a nice residue of moisture you can feel even after rinsing off. The fragrance doesn’t linger long on your skin unlike Snow Fairy which is probably a good thing.
I can’t quite work out why the smell just doesn’t work for me - packaging says mandarin, bergamot and olive but I just get bitter citrus almost like a clinical coal tar. Perhaps my bottle was old stock and the orange has dissipated or a bad batch. Luckily my pack is only 100ml and I’m sure my next Lush product will be back to it’s divine yumminess.
