Over the boxing day period I picked this up in the all the best box because I wanted to try the main staple items that lush sells. Everything in this box was on my wish list. The Olive branch can be purchased all year long which makes it easier to repurchase when it runs out.
The bottle this gel comes in is plastic. Like all lush bottles have black and white labelling. Instructions are pretty straight forward. The texture of this gel is runny . The colour of it is like liquid amber . Looks beautiful in the bottle. The scent reminds me of a warm mediterranean walk through a orchard of mandarins and lemons. This scent is subtle and soft smooth but not tart or overly sweet . 'It's just right '.
When I apply this to my shower puff it foams up into a white foam. This scent lingers in my shower. It stays on my body for a short time. I like that it doesn't over power my body lotion after showering.
I got the 100 ml bottle , I'm on to my second month of using it and it's lasting me a really long time. I love this shower gel for days where I want to whind down after a long day.
After trying this my skin still had moisture in it. My skin felt smooth . I also used it in my hair and it felt luscious and soft. Price wise it's pretty fair and affordable. I would hapily pick this bottle up for repurchase.
This is a shower gel I've looked over quite a few times whilst browsing instore and online but I decided to get a small bottle one day just to give it a go.
This is in a clear squeeze bottle like every other lush gel. It has a black label which has all the ingredients and also a sticker with who made it and when it's best to use it by. This gel is a lot runnier than what I'm used to. It also needs to be shaked as it separates. IT doesn't look to amazing separated but when you shake it, it changes to a gorgeous apricot colour.
The scent of this is really refreshing. IT has a light citrus kick, it's different to the kind of citrus you usually smell in products. The mandarin has no sour note but it isn't sweet either. I think I can smell a hint of olive oil as well, it sounds weird but it meshes really well together. I usually go for the strong, sweet scents and at first just didn't think this did much for me. Now after using it for few weeks and almost using up my bottle, I'm in love. I'm not sure how long this lingers on the skin afterwards as I use perfume and lotion after. I have dry skin and this doesn't dry out my skin at all.
This lathers well, better than you'd expect from such a runny product. I do find I use a bit more than I intend it too, it's hard to control how much comes out as you don't need to sueeze the bottle at all.
I have about 20 lush shower gels at the moment, so I won't be repurchasing any time soon but I will; definitely in the future.
