I love the scent of roses and it's hard to get right in cosmetics but Lush do roses so well! No granny tones or artificial scents here! Rose Jam is one of my favourite Lush products so when they bring out anything rose scented, I have to try it.
This one came out around Mother's Day so I am not sure if it is part of the permanent line now or not? It's certainly not as big and bolshy as some of Lush's newest bombs. It is a fairly quick fizzer and turns the water a beautiful pale, milky pink. It puts on more of a subtle show than some of its counterparts, although it does release dried petals into the water.
It has a subtle but true rose scent. It did fill the bathroom so I left the water in for awhile after I got out. The smell didn't linger in my skin for long but it did leave my skin feeling soft without the need for body lotion.
A nice relaxing bath that I would definitely use again if it hangs around for long enough.
Oh roses, most rose scents are very strong and fake smelling and make my nose turn up, but Lush seems to be the exception. Rose Jam would be one of my all time favourites scents.
This bath bomb is on the smaller size of Lush bath bombs, fitting very easily in the palm of my hand. It is a light baby pink coloured bath bomb with bits of petals poking out.
I pop it in the bath and watch as it pops and fizzes and fires out rose petals and what looks like little lavender seeds. There is a slight rose scent but not like rose jam but it is nice on the nose.
When I hop in I notice how many petals and seeds are floating around me. It's almost borderline too much but it's a nice touch. Once I dry I don't notice much of the Rose scent left on my skin. For a real rose hit I use this with the rose jam bubbleroon. It's nice but not a fave.
