I love lush products. I brought the small pot because it was a bit pricey. I love the smell it made me feel awake in the mornings. It made my skin feel soft because its a scrub. The good thing about the scrub was that it was runny and didn't stab my skin like some exfoliators can do

I have bought this from Lush $17.90 for 330g.
The packaging is the usual black Lush tub. Remember to keep these as if you return 5 clean pots you get a free fresh face mask (and you can use that tub as part of your next 5!). I find the tub really good at keeping water out, as I keep this in my shower. It also isn't that hard to open or close when you are in the shower/bath with wet hands.
Lush describe this as a variation on the normal shower gel with with sea salt in it exfoliating. I think that is a great description of this product. The shower gel part of it foams really nicely while the salt scrubs at your skin. Meaning you feel extremely clean after using it. I especially like when you wash it off you aren't left with any residue. I find a lot of scrubs leave you with a oily residue which I hate, I know it is probably supposed to be moisturising but I just don't like it.
I find it best used by stepping out of the water and scrubbing it in to your skin before washing off. This means you don't use as much so you can end up making this last a lot longer. If you apply this in the shower you can wash a lot of it down the drain without getting the great effects.
Lush describe the smell as mimosa blossom with a dash of blossom. Personally I have never smelt a mimosa blossom, I just think it smells yum. It is a very fresh scent that is very awakening. The other thing that is great about the scent is that it is quite unisex. It isn't too sweet or floral smelling so occasionally my bf likes to use it too.
Rub is a hidden gem type product. It seems like your average exfoliating scrub, but once you've got it lathered up it stands out amongst its competition. There's a lovely scrub element, which becomes like jelly once lathered. The scent is gorgeous and I love that you can use this as shampoo!
Tips: Combine with Ro's Argan Body Conditioner for a wonderful Lush cocktail that cleans and conditions the skin
I had been dying to use this product from lush for so long that when I finally got it. It was like the hallelujah chorus was singing behind me lol. I don't think I will ever be able to shower without this again. I use it with exfoliant gloves just put a lil dollop on my skin and work it in to my dry areas like knees, elbows, and feet. It just works great and the smell is just an added bonus :)
Tips: Try using exfoliating gloves with it... Only three dollars at a drugstore
This has become one of my new favourite lush products! Firstly it smells amazing but the smell is not to strong like some lush products, it has a light floral scent to it. It is a great exfoliating scrub but isn't too harsh. I have quite sensitive skin and some other body scrubs I have used scratch my skin and leave it red but this was perfect. It gently exfoliated my skin and left it feeling silky smooth and smelling delicious. It is a little bit pricey but a little bit goes a long way and you only need to use it once or twice a week.
Tips: Use this before applying fake tan so that your tan goes on evenly :)
This is one of those products I never would have purchased but fell into a love. I revived in a Xmas gift pack & didn't think anything until I smelt it.
The fragrence is similar to peril washing powder which ironically I love. It's strong refreshing and clean smelling.
Unlike a lot of scrubs grains and small and not sharp(ppreviously avoided scrubs after pain of apricot kernel scrubs.
A little goes a long way as this product just glides, unfortunately due to sls but that's okay as I love this product.
The packaging does suck a little the grains get stuck in the grooves of the screw top lid.
Will definitely repurchase even though its over my budget.
My Mum gave me the large tub as an Xmas gift and I instantly fell in love with the smell! It's a beautiful bright blue colour that to me smells citrusy and fresh. It feels great rubbed in to wet skin, not too harsh and leaves a nice clean feeling. I find the scent lasts on my skin for a few hours too which is nice. I do find that it stings a little in cuts (I have a cat with sharp claws so this happens often!) but it doesn't last long. My only other downside to it is that even though I try really hard not to get any water in it, is that is has gone quite runny which to me is a bit wasteful as it now runs straight off my skin and down the plug! So now I'm having to turn the shower off while I use this and then rinse after. I would definitely repurchase this product again!
This scrub smells amazing and is an effective dual use scrub. The scent is similar to the famous Lush Sakura bathbomb and solid perfume, and the texture in the pot is like a slurry - not thick and not watery. I tried this on wet skin first and was surprised that is lathered up. It gave a gentle scrub and left my skin smooth and feeling slick. I then tried it dry on my elbows and knees and got a great exfoliation from using a small amount and massaging well before jumping in the shower to rinse off. The scent lingers a little on the skin and a potter lasts well so this product represents good value you for money. I would definitely repurchase
With approximately 4 out 5 rating on BR, I knew this was another Lush product that I had to try, and it just so happened that I was a hunt for a good body scrub. So when I read the reviews, off I went to go purchase the Lush Rub Rub Rub body gel/scrub. I have to admit, I had less than high hopes for this after my experience with the Lush sugar scrub.
The scrub comes in a little black tub, which is already an improvement on the other Lush’s scrub I had tried. So far so good. Additionally, this tub seals completely in the shower so no water gets in it. Plus it’s another product that is part of Lush’s recycling scheme where if you return 5 containers, you get a free face mask!
This scrub, Well.. its bright blue! And I mean bright, but I love it. I don’t have a lot of experience with scrubs, but looking at this scrub just makes me happy. If shower gels and body scrubs made a baby, rub rub rub is exactly what that baby would be. It’s the perfect mix of shower gel, and body scrub, and such a great consistency. Not too thick, and not too thin. Thick enough to stay on the palm of your hand and to not run through your fingers, but thin enough to be able to use a small amount to cover a large area of skin.
And now to the smell, when you were a young kid, did your parents ever have that yellow soap in their house? I think it was called Sunlight. Well mine did, and that’s exactly what rub rub rub smells like to me. Its clean, its fresh, and it has a citrus pop to it.It is refreshing to use, and is another thing about this product that just makes me feel happy!
So the rub rub rub has a great consistency, and smells amazing. But is it any good? Well yeah, it’s pretty good (and that’s an understatement). As a scrub, it has small exfoliating particles spread throughout the product, which I thought would be quite harsh on my skin, but my skin loves it! Its just perfect, and scrubs my skin enough to make it feel smooth and soft, without it being too harsh. Also, this product does lather a little bit, but nowhere near as much as a regular shower gel, but you still feel as it your skin is getting a bit of a clean as well as a scrub.
So I have to admit, I love to scrub with Lush’s rub rub rub. I love the smell, the consistency, how it makes my skin feel. The only slight negative for me is the price. It’s a product that I want to last a long time, because I can’t afford to buy it often, even though I want to! I would recommend this to all, a shower is so much better with this product!
Firstly, the bright blue colour really attracted me to this product. I also like the refreshing scent that this product gives off. When the product is used on dry skin, it does feel gritty. But when I mixed the scrub with a small amount of water before applying it on my skin, it doesn't feel as rough. After using it, my skin does feel clean and smoother but I wouldn't describe it as extra smooth/soft. Overall, I thought it was a decent scrub. I didn't try it out as a shampoo as I didn't like I would like the rough feeling on my scalp. However, the application of it does get messy even in the shower as it can get quite slippery and one tub doesn't last long as I felt a decent amount is needed to have a proper exfoliation.
Tips: Wet the product slightly before applying it on dry skin.
