I didn't think that a Lush massage/scrub product could top Buffy, but oh girl this one has taken the hive by storm. It smells delightful. I'm a big fan of Lush's honey scents anyway (It's Raining Men/Honey I Washed the Kids) but this one I really struggled not to just eat. It's got a kind of warm/chocolately smell about it too. Very soothing and luxurious. It's got a different kind of scrub to Buffy. Where Buffy's chunks are well... chunkier, this wee bee has fine sand through, leaving your skin feeling like it's been well exfoliated, but not too harshly. It's super hydrating too! No dry spots anywhere after use and you do feel soft and smooth. I've got quite a few uses out of my bee... I guess it depends on how thorough you are and how often you use it. I use mine every few days, just to give my skin a little boost. I like using it just before I shave my legs, that way they're nice and primed! This one is definitely going near the top of my top Lush products list.

Tips: Keep it in something waterproof! Either take it right out of the shower when you're done, or keep in one of Lush's body butter tins (or something similarly waterproof)
I am so in love with this little guy that I truly think the days of body scrubs in pots are behind me (apart from maybe Pure Fiji when I can get it cause dang that stuff is divine). Don't you get annoyed when you have to unscrew a cap while all wet & then water gets into the pot & sits there strewing until the next scrubbing session? Well now those days are over, because this little baby has a super effective rough back with all the coconut shell & almond grounds packed into it, with the under belly being nice & smooth with the rich goodness of honey & cocoa butter. All you have to do is wet the bar & scrub away. Super easy & applies the perfect amount of product. I just keep flipping from one side to the other as I go. I think I actually groaned with delight the first time I used this. Then afterwards rinse down under the spray. Your body will be left with the most delicious scent & that lovely almost oil slick skin where the water just beads when it hits you. I love that kind of finish, it makes me feel super smooth and sexy especially when my legs brush past one another. I will absolutely be purchasing this again & again because the price point is very fair & the convenience is life changing.
Tips: Jump in the shower with your partner & enjoy a groan worthy back rub
*make sure to store your little scrub buddy out of reach from the water or you will find it will melt away far to quickly.
I love solid body scrubs without packaging . Finding space for all the products can be overwhelming. After reading many reviews I decided to buy this one.
Scrubee is super cute to look at . Winning with their design . It’s a solid body bar . It smells like freshly poured honey with hints of sweet vanilla in the background. Not tangy like Honey I washed the kids. I like to warm my skin in the shower beforehand and apply scrubby . It’s scratchy but not too rough on my skin . Afterwards my skin feels soft hydrated and smooth .
It’s winning in all aspects . Don’t store it in the shower it will melt like all the other solid scrub bars . It is on the small side compared to other solid scrubs . I would buy it again . It’s worth it.
Fantastic gift! Looks so cute and smells divine. And it feels great as it gently exfoliates your skin.
Tips: Use in the shower for a bit of a joyful treat.
I bought this wee buttery bee off a friend, and I’m glad I didn’t pay full price for it. While I do think it’s worth it, and my skin feels amazing after use, I definitely think it has one rather large fault.
When it arrived I was excited, I hadn’t showered yet and so I could use it straight away! I was surprised by the size, I thought it was smaller. So that was a nice surprise. I had it in a zip lock bag so when I entered the shower I washed my face and body quickly, and then rubbed the bee all over my body, the rounded end in the palm of my hand so the flat side was doing all the work.
The smell! Hoooly moly it’s so nice! It’s like honey, and chocolate, and sweetness and hnnng it’s just so nice. The little bits in Scrubee might seem intimidating but they dispersed quite nicely and they weren’t that harsh, it was really nice. I could feel my skin softening up immediately and it was such a nice change from using a full on coffee scrub.
Once the bits were all washed off, the butters kept my skin so moist and soft afterwards. I dried off and there was no need for a moisturizer – BONUS! I love that I don’t need a moisturizer after a shower because of this. However, I have a huge bone to pick… The after smell of this is bloody awful. I hate it. It smells like 3 day old bath water, it stunk out my towel, my bathroom and the clothes I wore after my shower. The more I use it, the lesser the smell is so maybe it’s just a first time thing, but man, what a pong. So while it is a really nice product, the after smell is something I can’t get over.
I bought three of these when they first came out as a limited edition and they were selling out everywhere. I was initially lured in by that amazing honey smell. Lovers of Lush's 'Honey I washed the Kids' shower gel will love this! Initially I was disappointed with this as it was way too scratchy for my skin. So I rubbed the scrub onto my hands first and then onto my body. I persevered with this (after all, I'd just bought three of them!) and after a few uses my skin tolerated it. What I do like is that once the scrub is washed off, you are left with silky soft skin from the cocoa butter. I'm not sure if I will purchase this again. Hands down, it is Lush's best smelling scrub but I think my skin still prefers Buffy.
When everyone was raving about Scrubee I was like 'It looks cute' but was put off by the scent as quite a few described the scent as being similar to Pot of Gold I think it was. I can't stand that smell but it was super cute and wanted to try it anyway (such a sucker for Lush and cute things).
When it arrived, I was actually a bit disappointed as it wasn't as big as the picture looked, so not a great start.
But wow, the smell is sooooo good. I can't really explain the scent, but I think you can smell a hint of honey along with cocoa butter. You can't really smell the almonds until you get down to the scrubby exfoliation part when the heat releases the scent. If you like Gold Fun, then you will love this as it is more similar to that than Pot Of Gold which actually makes me feel sick whenever I smell it. I also love the fact that you can still smell it on your skin for ages afterwards, even into the next day.
I was going to use it as a massage bar as that is what I thought it was (thats what happens when you don't read the instructions properly lol) however was told you use it in the shower. I was like WHAT?? lol
The shape is genious because it is actually quite easy to hold and apply. You get in the shower, and apply hot water to your skin before applying the Scrubee. I applied it in circular movements all over my body and my skin felt amazing, and left me feeling not only super hydrated but extremely relaxed.
The downside to Scrubee is that it doesn't last that long. If using all over your body, you will get about 2 uses, 3 if you are lucky. Or you can choose to target certain parts of your body like legs or arms, whichever you want to use it on which will make it last a lot longer.
The price tag is a bit high for such a small product but the after feeling is so worth it.
Tips: Before using Scrubee, if you have it, use Lush Twilight Shower Gel for an even more relaxing experience and do this before you go to bed. You have the most amazing sleep xx
