I purchased this at Lush in the Base, as I had read on the Lush website that it was perfect for 'getting in the mood'. Well. I don't think either fiance or I got in the sexy time mood, but we did enjoy the bath bomb!
Firstly, holy cow this bomb is huge. I could fit it in both hands comfortably and I was blown away. For the price, it was worth it. At the top you can see a delicate little flower tip, but nothing else. It also claims to have a surprise inside - it does! The flower tip was gross and slimy when wet but it dissolved slowly - We ended up throwing it out.
The water turned a pinkish creamy color, and it was silky soft on my skin as all Lush things are! The smell was divine, but again, it didn't get us in the mood as it claims to. And for the surprise? Gorgeous little pinky purple hearts. They were water soluble, so good for the environment, but it was so cute to see all the little hearts floating around our bath water. They stuck to fiance's leg hair mostly! I would definitely repurchase this!
I bought this purely based on its name and online meant I couldn't do the sniff test first. I have still enjoyed (too many) products bought from Lush online although I am sure I am missing out on a few nice ones too. This one is pretty from the get go... Pink, purple, a cute wee sugar flower... very feminine! and the premise feeling sexy was even more temptation.
It fizzes so fast it just disappears into the water all too fast (I know... BathBOMB no slow release lol), but leaves the water a beautiful shade of pink. The scent is strong jasmine and clary sage but not as much ylang-ylang as I had hoped (I was wishful that the clary sage would be the underwhelming component as it is not a scent I enjoy).
It was still a nice relaxing bath but I've had better ;) (had to go there didn't I?!)
